This was the moment Dutch truly took things too far
Dutch is an intesting charcter. I havent played rdr1 yet and when i played rdr2 i never watched any spoliers of any kind since i had heard how great the story is. As Arther I really liked Dutch and really felt like part of the gang. Before dutch started going nutts i really felt like micha was a rat as the story progressed i realized ofc he was. They did such a good job writng the story i felt betrayed myself. Its crazy how micha got in dutches head like that. Anyway it felt great as John on the mountain finnally able to blow holes in him 😅 i had tried to blow him up a lot before the end scene. I cant wait to play the first one now and discover what ends up happening to Dutch.
Yeah, the main characters like John, aurther, and Dutch, micah all felt like real people. When dutch and micah went crazy and betrayed you it felt way more impactful, i wonder how different the game would be if we never let micah out of that cell
@@rainy-TH-cam777 I wondered the same thing. Should have let him hang. Dutch may have come to his senses and lead the gang to safety as he had kept talking about. And yes the way the story was it did feel like it was real people and the feeling of betrayal was strong. I felt so bad for everyone when the Pinkertons had their attack at beavers hollow. And once you find out micha led them there it hits even harder.
@genesishandboards I got so tired of Dutch saying, "This is the one! This last job and we will have the money!" He said that 4 chapters straight
@@rainy-TH-cam777 haha yes! When I played thru the first time I was thinking I thought the last one was the final score lol. Dutch declined pretty fast too. I was hearing him give his lil pep talks at the camps and then saying the gang was betraying him. He really went off his rocker.
That hits harder that Lamar's roast)
Dutch shot that man twice and he didn’t use a single bullet 😂
Gotta love the irony. The plan was to rob the bank and run off to a tropical island. Which, they sort of did. Almost symbolic of things never being as glorious as they kept imagining they would be.
Pirates of Caribbean ost began playing inside my head at that scene
When I played this mission my pistol was knocked out of my hand, so Arthur pointed finger guns at the guy
the music is great too
Dutch coming in from left field and instantly destroyes a man with words alone lol. no wonder he had such a loyal gang, up until he hit his head and became a broken man beyond repair.
Another bit I love is when Milton turns up at Lakay, after Guarma. - "I'll hunt you to the ends of the earth, till the end of time!"
I heard somewhere that one of the owners of rockstar actually wrote a lot of the script
They are a great person.
Anyone else agree fussar look like a puppet?
Finally someone that takes care of his Arthur I’m tired of TH-camrs making their Arthur skinny and dirty with base clothes
Dutch just started roasting the shit out of the poor guy lmao
"I have had enough of this, Arthur."
*Shoots himself*
our time has passed, John
The rockstar team that made this game made a historic game. This is one that will be remembered by history, like poker or halo lol
And then they peacefully enjoyed a civil game of poker like distinguished gentlemen
There must be a name for this
It still bothers me the fact that Dutch had both on the sight and could have ended the situation in two clicks but for some reason he didnt.
Dutch can recite any book phrases he want, he's the only one who actually reads something (besides John's son, aka his arch enemy)
This reminds me of that scene from the first game when everyone pulls guns on each other in Mexico because of the card game
Say what you want about Dutch but he definitely had a way with words that made you want to stick by his side until the very end if you know what I mean.
This game without a doubt has some of the best writing you'll see across all video games. Thinking about a 4th playthrough sooner or later.
straight gas!!!
Dutch is Dutch my my friend
Dutch looking like a straight pirate here
