Agreed! I woulda let him live if I could have tbh, the only body I wanted at that moment was Micah, wasn't surprised first time round Dutch would show at the end. Never played red dead 1 so that'll be a treat after I eventually get the disc for this

Well, I don't know. I think they would, he was always a jerk. And then he betrayed them by going over to Mika's side. I wouldn't want to kill Javier. Always liked this Mexican.
I just realized that the Marstens get 1 full year of peace on Beechers Hope before Ross comes to blackmail John. Then Ross gets 1 full year of retirement before Jack comes to kill him. Also possibly his brother and/or wife depending on the player. I know I always end Ross’s brother
It is. Because his bravado fades away the moment he sees the Van Der Linde crew rendering his henchman incapable of helping him. His dispair becomes real.
I know Dutch was a dick but in the end just look at him, I actually pitied him tbh, he knew he fked Arthur over and in the end he did the right thing regarding Micah 🤷♂️ just a sad old man full of dead dreams ironically red dead dreams lol

I hated Sadie before that. She does a complete 180 into a brutal outlaw and unlike the other characters, she’s only called out for her actions _once._ She had a ton of potential to show what always seeking revenge can do to someone, but the story is always trying to make her seem like she’s the righteous badass. The point of no return was definitely when she ignored Arturo’s death. Poor guy didn’t deserve it. I wonder if some of the scenes she was in were originally supposed to be for Micah and got rewritten to fit her!
@@GooberBoi6000 Fair, but her whole thing with the O’Driscolls definitely clashes heavily with the narrative that revenge is bad. Everyone in the story who exacts revenge is punished in some way, shape, or form. For example, Dutch is commonly driven by spite and that spite ends up leaving him as a broken, psychopathic mess. But Sadie exacts her revenge and while it’s satisfying, nothing comes of it. I know my idea may sound too… idealistic, but what if after the Hanging Dog Ranch massacre when she starts saying that they made her a monster, she actually tries to change for the better? Like, in the epilogue, she’s more honorable and less impulsive. She could’ve been a decent character, but there’s a lot that weighs her down. I don’t really hate her personality wise tho, since a lot of the male characters act like her. It’s more that she’s given so much focus and doesn’t grow as a character beyond the rushed arc she was given.
I think Cornwall died far too fast and too much un painfully for all the things he done Juste like Arthur said « lawful scamming is even worse than just pointing a gun at and robbing them »
Cleet didn’t deserve it. He actually seemed genuine when he was saying he tried to stop Micah from killing a little girl.
Doesn't change the fact that he's a traitor that contributed to van der linde's gang downfall

Not Arthur’s low honour death 😭🙏
If you spare Anthony Foreman, John can collect him for a bounty later on
I love how rockstar depicted the kkk as dummies
They clearly portrayed them very realistically

@@squarex8659They’re talking about Bill claiming the gang wanted John dead.
Neither would Lenny, Hosea, or any of the non-violent members.
I like how the first-time ross and jack met they were fishing and the last time they met they were fishing
I kept Anthony Forman alive, I ended up getting a bounty for him while playing as John, so it was worth it in the end

The Marshtons actually get 4 years (the time between 2 and 1) and Ross has 3 years between the main story of 1 and its epilogue
@@The_Disturber yeah but ross retired like a year before the epilogue of 1

Most vile character in all Red Dead imo.

I think it was probably Milton but Micah is a close second
most satisfying kill : Micah, Edgar, Leviticus, Fussar in that order
What about colonel favors
