When you switch from the bible verses to the lower third, are you switching scenes in OBS or just switching sources within a scene? Would really like to see the video footage of how you have your scenes and sources set up to make this happen.
@@AJaytheCEO understood, but how are you turning the lower third on and off with the bible verses? That has to be controlled in obs. DSK is all on or all off, not switching between. Thus it makes me think you're viewing/hiding the sources within a scene using the eyeball icon.
Do you have any videos of how to do this using Easy Worship? I use the atem every week in church. On my input 1 I have it mirroring our windows computer for countdowns and exit loops, inputs 2 and 3 are my camera angles. I am trying to find out how to put lyrics on cameras 2 and 3. Any help you have would be appreciated.
@@AJaytheCEO I have the virtual monitor setup using the dongle. I may be getting lost on setting OBS up to link to that "monitor" but everything seems to follow what you stated in your video. Thanks for quick response, i'll keep poking around until i get it.
Thanks again Ajay for another useful tip. We use ProPresenter full screen with PIP for the picture (speaker) with OBS as the switcher. We had one of the ATEM mini's, but no multiview. Guess we could have tried an HDMI splitter. Anyway, thanks again.
Thanks. A diagram showing ATEM MIni ports and as you reference a connection in your narrative you could zoom in/cut to the diagram illustrating the connection with source target info.
Hi, thanx for your video. We use a 4M/E Broadcast Studio 4K and we want to use OBS for lower thirds. So, we have an open output on the graphics card. It’s HDMI out and I connected it to a Black Magic HDMI to SDI converter, it then goes to an input on the switcher. Then I configured DSK 1 and configured fill source etc to the input but nothing happens. Did I something wrong? Resolution, framerate works fine. Please explain de scenes settings. Tried everything.
I need this one thanks for this video, I use my lower third on the propresenter using upstream key and nothing is showing , i will try the downstream key if it works
Upstream key is for stuff like the weather on the news (image behind person standing in front of a green screen. downstream key is for placing graphics on top of live video

Hi Ajay. How do you get the background to be transparent? I have a png with a lower third that was created with a transparent background, however the Atem doesn’t see the transparency when I enable the DSK and instead shows a black background behind the lower third. Thank you!!
I understand it...perhaps I'm missing something. (Thinking) I get that the 2nd output from OBS is going to the ATEM input #2 for the lower third. So the streaming output is going to (or thru) the 1st output from OBS to the streaming platform (FB, YT, etc.)? (I'm picturing this in my mind on how this works out)
**PLEASE NOTE** this is for streaming with the ATEM directly not with OBS. OBS is used only as a lower third generator not for streaming as well.
I use this same technique to push out my graphics using H2R Graphics when I do cheerleading competitions

I'm not switching scenes at all I'm just turning on the dsk on the ATEM which sends that to OBS along with the video.

I don't know what i'm doing wrong but I'm rewinding and following these steps and I cannot get my OBS scriptures/lwr 3rd into the ATEM.

Question. Anything With Black In It Appears To Be A Little Transparent. Any Reason Why That Is?
The atem removed everything black. You need to pick a different color or change the gain under desk settings
