You need to bend the level sensors because you've lowered the ride height and the compressions throw it. Also to disable the dampers pull Fuse 13 in Interior fuse box. Go into VCDS and uncheck DCC from Can Gateway. Then go into ABS and uncheck bit 7 in Byte 27. Everything will then work as normal. Good lap!!

How to impress Micha, 1st school yourself on how to drive fast by learning "The Ring" until you can go 100% in a slow car, then when you can do that without errors, upgrade to a better car and then continue your lesson learning until once again you know how to drive it at 100%. His practice clearly shows through, a very enjoyable lap made even better because he made it flow naturally, on a lap helped by low traffic levels, no yellows & courteous driving from other TF drivers
Look at these "iTs a tYpiCaL vW" morons. It's a tuned car, half the stuff is aftermarket. That's why the lights are on, not that you'd understand why. Does the car look broken to you? Does it seem like it's not working perfectly or not going properly? Exactly. But I guess it is a typical VW because it can run a lap after lap on the most demanding track being driven to the limit without breaking a sweat, unlike a typical japanese car where your wheels go out of alignment if you hit a curb too hard or a typical american car where the engine overheats half way through the lap or your wheel nuts come loose if the brakes heat up a bit.
Never in my life did I think Misha would think it was too fast 🤣 looks like he had a brilliant time. And damn that man can drive, one of the best laps I've seen on here in a while those cornering speeds are insane. Great video
I think it was less about how fast it was, and more about how fast they were going with the amount of wheel rubbing that was happening; if the suspension were to bottom out/rub too hard, the tire could blow apart at speed or have a strong braking effect on that wheel and cause the car to become unstable. Look at his face every time the wheels rub.
He’s a very good pilot, smooth and efficiently ! That’s a gift because many times peoples get stressed out and try to go faster then they’re capabilities and often they try a correct the trajectory but are to abrupt and that’s when you loose it, He was in full control the whole time, didn’t seemed to be nervous at all just enjoying himself and the machine. 👍👍👍

that was some proper driving for such a young driver....Misha did not say a word, I am sure the driver will have a lot of fun watching the video and Mishas faces through the turns interesting to see the very different lines of a fast light awd car with ton of grip but a bit of understeer, the driver has some big balls and big skills. One of the most fun laps to watch on mischa channel in months even though there was zero talking and uninspiring engine noise of a turbo 4pot

What I’m seeing halfway thru this video is a smooth driver, and a smooth driver is a fast driver. Couple that to his consistency and you have a race car driver in the making! Now back to the drive👍🏼

Hey Misha, at 10:45 when you give your thoughts towards the end, you mention certain parts of the track where his entry and exit was perfect etc would you ever put in short clips from during the lap over your voice so those who aren't as familiar with the ring can understand which part of the track you are talking about?
Do what I do, open google maps and read the names of the corners from there, then watch the lap again knowing where he referencing, but yes a little post editing putting a small box window of that footage would do a lot of us a great favour
First breaking zone and Misha is sat in crash position with arms folded tight across the chest. I don't think I've ever seen him this nervous before. Just had to edit my comment after Aremberg... I've just seen Misha more nervous... Second edit: By the end of the lap Misha had relaxed. Just a few eyebrow raising moments in acknowledgement of driving skill and car set up. What a lap. Not sure I could have that much faith in my tyres...

Not going through all the comments to see if somebody might already has mentioned it but: If nobody has told the owner until now, atleast his passenger seatbelt is not correctly installed as the ASM part of the Schroth belts is on the wrong side (to the outer part of the car instead to the center). Important to correctly install your safety gear in order to properly work in case of a crash. Otherwise a nice build and fast lap, entertaining to watch. 👍
Wow this guy has fantastic skills. The brakes on the GTI are absolutely phenomenal. I’m due to upgrade my brakes on my Golf r. Maybe 8 pots. Then use the golf r calipers on my G40 polo. Need a few adaptations. I would love to bring my G40 down and see misha have a play It. As always Great video.

Great use of the track as Micha said and great precision and smoothness. Often people to turn it too harshly, the smoothness of your turning, breaking and line precision reminds me of the driving style of Walter Röhrl. Beautiful driving and the driver seems very friendly and cool too! ☺️

Misha mentioned taking Caroussel to Höhe acht flat (7:29 - 7:58). The 'perfect' entry and exit for Bergwerk are from 6:17 until 6:28. Hope that helps!
