The DDE Fam knows how important Ken was to the channel and the world of motorsports for that matter. We wouldn't have DDE without Ken and to have Lia, Lucy and the Hoonigan family still expressing that spirit makes me excited about the future of the car culture Ken created.
And one I can’t wait to see, the first pro driver from learning how to drive from her dad (rip ken block) to seeing her climb to the top of the podium herself. First time the whole journey will be documented. One I can’t wait to watch. I’m sorry your father is gone Lia but I’m super glad that he got to teach you how to drive so you can Carry the torch in his honor! I hope you the best for your career. Your doing amazing so far!
As a father of 4 beautiful children and a loving wife that has taken care of me. This is very very emotional and had me balling my eyes out. Ken raised one hell of a daughter here and she has to be very disciplined for Ken to give her the go ahead to drive the 1,400hp car. I know parents that push their kids to do what the parents wanted to be. I don't think for 1 second Ken forced her into this. She wanted it and she trained Hardee then Ken probably did when he started. We all want the very best for our children and nothing will ever change it. R.I.P Ken Block. Hope you aren't pushing the limits in heaven brother.
Same Dude, I'm 52, I got Goosebumps and to watch her first ever drive in That Car, I feared up but she ripped it up. To get to the Top of the Mountain, Pikes Peak in anything, she nailed it and you can see when her Mother opened the door and The Man at the Start line dropped to his knees, definitely a teary moment. Wouldn't have been a dry eye on that team. I got so much Respect and I Thank Them All for what they did. It was Perfect 👌
I came here to say the same thing. Whew, those clips made this a masterpiece. What a legend this world lost but so happy to see Lia carry the legacy on.
This is how you make a grown man cry. As a 46 year old man who's watched and looked up to Ken for 20+ years, it was impossible to believe he was gone. But I knew that Lia wouldn't let his legacy die. Hats off to you Lia! You are absolutely your Daddy's little girl and I am 100 percent here for it!!!
Oh man as someone who grew up watching him it was a bittersweet video to watch I'm glad Lia and Lucy are keeping it going and I'm glad that Lia was the one to drive that car and complete pike's peak for Ken he would most definitely be proud
Those shots of you and your dad in the car brought me to tears. There's no other person in this world that could fill that seat other then you. You have his spirit and his drive, and I know there's big things in your future. You made your father proud and I know he was riding with you.
Bro you couldn't of said it any better 👏 💯 just watching it one can feel the the power of KB spirit through lia driving her Dad's car the flashbacks and the way filming of this video was made was emotional from the moment you press play
Very well said, the cutaway shots really brought out the fact how much those 2 really are alike.. And regarding Ken going for the ride? I commented that if you look at exactly 41:20, it looks like there's a "phantom" passenger in the passenger side.
I know Lia gets alot of credit for being Ken's daughter but I really think she's going to be a super successful driver all on her own merits, I mean come on to get into this beast of a machine at 16 and drive it as well as she did right away is insane and she's just getting started 🤯
She already is. Getting to watch Lia up close during this past ARA season and watching her beat guys that have been driving rally for longer than she's been alive was a real honor. Then you chat with her and she's just so cool and chill for a young woman her age. At 16 years old she not only won the Open 2WD championship in the ARA... she kind of dominated it. Whatever it is she decides to do with her life, she's going to crush it.
@@JP_43 that's great to hear I have been out of the loop a bit with it all as I am stuck in the UK 😞 thanks for getting me up to date though, that's pretty cool that you got to chat with her, hopefully I can get back across the pond for next season to watch a few races 😀👍
Ken was at a disadvantage because he didn't start rallying until he was in his 30s, Lia starting at a young age is gonna help her freakin demolish everyone haha, she's already crushing it at 2wd and she was great at go kart racing too
@@scottjones1948 while we need more support for rally in the US, the upside is there aren't massive crowds so the drivers are very accessible. I work as a marshall so I spend a good amount of time interacting with the teams which is a ton of fun. Got to know Ken and Travis, Lucy and Lia, and dozens of others. All great people, rally folks in general are mostly wonderful humans to get to know.
"By winning the 2023 ARA Open 2WD championship Lia has done something her late father Ken Block never managed" Lia is kicking ass and taking names. she's got the eye of the tiger like the old man. love to see it. KB43VER
Lia has the power to be just as great, if not more as her old man. I will love seeing her journey shredding tires and corners like Ken did back then, 43 for ever!
I hope one day Ken is standing in Lia's shadow. Being that Lia has achieved everything they both ever set out to do. Seeing her all grown up in that final winning moment where a lifetime of achievements all comes together would be the greatest honor to Ken anybody could ever bestow upon their parents!
It's crazy that it's almost a year, to me it feels like a week ago. I still feel the sadness and disbelief in my heart. Incredible family and legacy he was forced to leave behind.
"If you give me a race car i am not gonna go slow with it" , just like her father. This was far more emotional than i expected and the cuts with Ken as she was reliveing the same moment as her father is just wow, many goosebumps. I know your father is more than proud of you. Thanks to all of you that made this possible. The Block Legacy lives on! ❤
I'm not afraid to admit I was teared up through most of that, and when the shots of Ken interspersed with Lia started, I was gone. What a wonderful tribute and what a wonderful person Lia is. Also, huge respect to Lucy Block too. As a parent myself and someone who has lost family members to racing and motoring accidents, and come close myself more than once, I could easily understand if she never wanted to see a race car again, much less let her daughter loose in one, but she did and that takes tremendous courage. What an amazing family.
the cut from her taking off, back to her mom with a single tear down her cheek was just so heartbreaking. As someone who lost their dad at 17 in 2021, I know how hard it is.
@@ContentFall757Gaming Ah, much love brother. My family has been doing great since the loss, still a bit hard, but we're moving forward and picking our feet up.
Gives me goosebumps knowing Ken had been preparing for months to attempt a record on Pikes prior when the bad news broke out and seeing his daughter running this beast up there is just phenomenal. I can't help but feel the goosebumps whenever transition from Lia to Ken in some areas of the clip. Good overall production for this tribute, marvelous.
I`m from Australia and almost 50yrs old. When you crossed that finish line Lia and got out of the car and hugged your mother, you both bought tears of joy to my face. I tell ya one thing, you`ve done everyone Proud. 👍
There is nothing more heart warming than seeing a child take over where their dad left off. I look forward to many years of seeing Lia hone her skills and become a better driver than her dad was.
I hardly ever cry these days, but I found myself tearing up several times watching this. Ken was one of my idols, so it's beyond awesome to see his daughter become as much of a badass as him. Bravo Lia, you rock! KB43VER
I cried as well, Ken touched so many hearts and him leaving us way too early was such a shock, but he left a legacy that we can still celebrate even until this day, that’s beautiful.
The main reason why we made our cars so much faster and better is Because of Ken Block he was my idol and since his passing, I have been devastated but seeing his daughter drive the Porsche up the mountain for the first time was insane and heartbreaking KB43VER
This was truly an emotional experience. I'm from another part of the world, yet I still cried as if my family was there. Loved every minute of this, from the retrowave vibes to small flashbacks of Ken behind the wheel while Lia driving. Ken's legacy is in good hands. Thank you Hoonigan Racing Division for making this happen.
It was the “are you ready to get out” and Lia’s response that pushed me to tears. The weight off her and accomplishment of that car making it to the summit. Just to watch the emotion over come her. Goosebumps. Thats all I can say
The way she ripped it immediately her first time on the track had me in tears. Ken's spirit will always live on through her. It'll be awesome watching her honor him as she becomes a legend herself.
I can admit that watching this video made this 47 year old grown ass man cry. I still can’t believe that this world lost Ken so unexpectedly. I can’t imagine what his family and friends have been going through. This was the perfect way to honor Ken and there’s no better person to have carried it out than Lia. It was awesome and inspiring to watch her take on and conquer this challenge. I look forward to seeing how Lia grows and matures in both her personal life as well as her professional racing career. Hope nothing but the best for her wherever the road may take her in the future.
The first glimpse of Ken during Lia's lap struck me so hard across the face and brought back so many emotions that I found it hard to watch the rest of the climb. Good job to everybody and especially to Lia for carrying the Block's torch. Thank you so very much guys.
I totally didn't expect that but when it happened it was like a punch to the heart. Tears flowed. You'll be forever and always missed Ken Block as will you be fondly remembered across the globe and by your beautiful family. Gone but never forgotten!
Was keeping it together until the in car shot of Lia transitioned into one of Ken! Then when she’d crossed the line and Lucy was the first person to greet her the floodgates just opened! Your dad would be so proud of you Lia and driving the Hoonapigasus the way you did was the most epic tribute! ❤
My eyeballs wouldn't stop sweating the last ten minutes of the video and afterwards when I came to realize what that absolutely amazing young lady must've been going through physically and mentally what with the grueling schedule preparing for this and the altitude change on top of the stress of the whole world watching you race up one of the most dangerous courses in the world where your literal life is at stake she certainly must've felt the weight of the world on her shoulders and yet she was just marvelous no doubt about it her dad would be proud
I literally cried when she was supposed to take a cruise around the track and just ripped it through all 6. Lia is a mini Ken. I bet he's watching over her and extremely proud of her
Yeah that part shocked the entire crew.. first she creep-out like any rookie i though she might stole the engine few times but was just turbo lag on cold start, once she got to the track and start changing thru all gears she absolutely blocked everyone.. that part and the actual run is just impressive..
This has honestly been such an emotional journey, Lia has done such an awesome job and I can’t imagine how proud Ken would be of her! Lia, Lucy and the rest of the team are doing absolutely amazing with keeping Ken’s legacy alive!
Dude even I'm crying from this. Its amazing seeing her come in like she did. She made him more proud then any father could be. Never go slow and keep that heavy foot the same way he did
To Lucy and Lia Block, I watched your Pikes Peak run. THANK YOU. I watched Ken for years, even before his racing days, and he was something else to watch!!!!!!!! AWESOME tribute 👏 emotional. May his legacy live on with your racing and in your lives. I miss him. Peace to you all, and I hope to see more of his legacy. ❤❤
The world is proud of you Lia. Most of us could never get what Lia & Lia’s Mom would feel. It’s so exciting to see and terrifying too. I found any racer I’ve seen do Pikes I get goosebumps. Whomever brought the onions are fired lol. All these tears.
Man, right around 44:44 when it hit Lia after finishing was when this video did it in for me. Like, that realization that she was able to finish a milestone her dad had only got to start...job so very well done, Lia.
This had me welling up. Pretty sure you’re every car-guys hero Lia. You’re definitely mine 👊 I never really appreciated how much of an influence and an icon Ken was to me. It still doesn’t feel real. I guess you never expect your hero’s to go like that. Big love to all Hoonigans worldwide.
Absolutely insane, I bet Ken is smiling from ear to ear! I sure know I am. Moms drive was great, crew did an amazing job, Lia even with so little seat time absolutely killed it. I'm not crying, you are.
Just watched one of the most thrilling, inspirational and emotional videos in a long time. Sat here holding the tears back at times, family means everything. To watch Lia, Lucy and the team share such a special family time with us, knowing Ken was watching over them all, tugged at the heart strings. Congratulations to Lia and Lucy on hitting the top of the Peak, and to everyone involved in making this amazing video.
This video was done incredibly and there were lots of emotions. Seeing Lia get in the car and have the same attitude behind the wheel as her dad is special. It really hits how emotional this was when she has trouble unbuckling herself after she got to the top. She is one strong young woman and it is because of her dad, mom, and all the Hoonigan family that she is surrounded by.
What a coincidence, someone brought a whole bunch of onions over here too... Ken would be so proud of both Lia and Lucy, this was such a perfect tribute. I know both of them will keep the legacy alive, and expecting big things from Lia in the future. She's already an incredible driver at such a young age, and know she 'd be great at whatever discipline of racing she goes into. KB43ever
Genuinely cried when she pulled off in that car. What an absolute legend of a kid. To do this, even with all the pressure she has on her is insane. Massive respect
This hits harder than it is, the moment she reaches the summit, the transition of lia and ken 😢 coming from someone that has lost my father 12 years ago, this hits hard. Ken is not just a professional driver, he is a father, a husband, a friend, an idol to some as well. Rip KB4ever
Man. This was a full blown rollercoaster of emotions. Was not expecting to cry this early in the morning. Not only is this 16 year old girl walking in her father’s footsteps. She’s always making her own. And giving all of us Motorsport lovers a beacon of light in these dark times. Your father’s smiling cheek to cheek right now up there. And I know a lot of us fans of Ken and motorsports in general are too. Thank you for this blessing of a video and experience with LIA and I hope she keeps paving her and her father’s way into every corner she shreds. You’re a legend. :side note finally reaching the end. I wonder what she was thinking when climbing those peaks. Was she focused on driving. Or the moments of her father. I wonder if every corner made her relive a moment she had with him. Seeing the end of this really shows the legend of the block family. “You don’t know what someone means to you until that moment happens” is the best end summary. Love you all 🖤
Watching this gave me goosebumps....Mad respect to Lia and how she just absorbs everything and just shows no fear and has fun! Great that she did this tribute run for her dad and made the family proud. I am looking forward to seeing her in many future events and wishing her great success and to be safe out there!
I can only imagine how emotional everyone from the block family was when she first pulled out of the pits. You've done good Ken, Lia's got it from here. Thsnk you for all the amazing years you blessed us with tire shredding content. Let's go Lia!!!!
Thank you to everyone who put this together! This is a fitting tribute to Ken. She has so many of her dads mannerisms too. I was not expecting to be emotional but I needed it. Thank you again!
I remember watching a clip of Ken saying the one thing he wanted to do before he died was run pikes peak and he barely missed it the last year he was alive so seeing Lia do this really brought a tear to my eye just seeing the thumb nail and something about seeing the phrase “just don’t die” on the front of the pig just gives a ball of emotions I don’t know how to describe this man was a legend and Lia will do down just as much a legend as her father
When Lia came to finish line.. the seconds after... damn I m still crying with 47 ,filled with emotions even I ve never met them. 12.000km far away... But thx to all of you to make this tribute for us as well the fans. You just created my decision to travel from Germany to Colorado 23rd of June. hope to even meet one of you if possible.
Yeah. Same here. Ken was one of those people that only come along once every hundred lifetimes, but was humble about it. We lost a treasire that day. Thank you Hoonigan, and the Block family, for bringing is alpng for the ride. #43. Rest well Sir.
@@kevinfox500 Lia shows some of the same signs of being one of those that come along once in hundred times her self. But I hope she does it her way and creates her own legacy. Because with her family behind her she's going places.
lost my dad in 2017, he was the reason i got into racing and still race to this day. hopefully theyre up there catching doors or just shooting the moon. proud of you both of you guys!
Lots to love about this video, but can we all just take a second and appreciate the fact that her parents cultivated and supported her passion? I wish I'd had parents like that.
Watching Lia behind her dad's Porsche gives me Goosebumps. I'm so proud of this girl and i can't wait to see her future grow. A life without Ken is tough on us all but The Block family has a lot of love and support from all us fans. ❤
That scene of Ken Block rounding the mountainside hairpin, riding on the very edge of thin air where all the dirt his tires displaced disappeared to, should be immortalized in racing history. He was brilliant and his legacy shows true brilliance too. Lia's total control and mastering of this amazing car, and her mother meeting the challenge in her car as well, just shows how much his greatness continues through them. High admiration from me. Thanks for the thrills.
Absolutely amazing ..every bit her fathers daughter ...super talented and humble with it ..Lia you do your dad proud .. We are privileged to follow your journey ..
Girl can drive but don't kid yourself. If that car actually has 1400bhp that's basically the limit for pro drivers. Anything more and proper down force and your bones are going to brake during corners. Porsche 919 evo engineers found that limits few years ago. So either she is not pushing it all the way or this car has not got 1400bhp in this configuration. That being said she is starting way earlier than her father and unlike him she has chances of being world class driver.
@@hagestad and she’s handling with no fear. That’s the point. Did you even watch the vid before commenting? She’s has heart and the confidence in herself to be great. And her father was a world class driver. Sucks to be wrong but you are.
She looks like she is going to carry his legacy along. Respect for someone as 16 being that good of a racecar driver. She has potential to be a great driver like her father. They should keep her on that path
Wow! The flashes between Lia and Ken, hits hard. It definitely pulled on the heart strings! Very well done! Such an emotional tribute. With that being said, congratulations to Lia, Lucy and the team. You all knocked this out of the park! I tip my hat to you all! Bravo!
Wow, what a whirlwind of emotions watching this. In a way, I got to see a proverbial closing of Ken's story but get to see a new story beginning to play out. Ken left his family in an untimely fashion but left a legacy and a burning passion in everything that was Ken Block. Congratulations to the family, the whole Hoonigan team and everyone involved 😉
Can't put into words how much this video meant to me. I couldn't even imagine what they're going through and to be able to do what they did as family and a team is absolutely stunning. I hope that should I ever be taken away from my boys and family, that I've left at least a fraction of the impact on them that Ken had on the world and the world around him. Congrats and much love to everyone. RIP Ken.
To see that brief glimpse of Lucy holding back tears when Ron asked for her approval of that first drive, made me cry like a child that lost a hero. To Ken up there: Man, you left an awesome family behind, ask God to let you be their angel and look after them forever!!
My eyes flooded when u said “We did it”at the finish line. there were sad tears hidden among happy tears. Great job Lia! I’m glad U r Continuing ur dad’s legendary legacy! Don’t stop!!❤❤
I was nervous for her the whole way through even though the video was after the fact. However, in the end I'm really glad that it was done--for Lia, her family, for her loved ones, the Hoonigan group, and for every fan of this group of people out there. I'll admit I teared up quite a few times during the video, especially when the KB43ver was put on the front aero. Those transition shots during the run between Lia and Ken just opened the floodgates. I thought I was sad, but honestly think they were tears of happiness. I'm glad that we got to know the legacy of Ken Block, glad that the legacy was finally getting as proper a sunset as it can, and glad to see a new legacy being birthed. I know Lia has been racing for a while now, but it just feels like she... I don't know, "graduated?" with this run. Like without a shred of doubt we can confidently think she can just do anything she sets her mind to now... and she's just 16!!! No pressure, but I really hope we can see many of your adventures in the future. It would mean the world to us many fans. Regardless, all the best of luck in the future ♥
I only had 15 minutes on my break to watch this so I just jumped to the end because I couldn’t wait (going to go back and watch the rest later) but man when she pulled up to the top on the peak my eyes just filled up with tears. What a special moment. I know Ken is up there so so proud.
the fact that when u see the flashbacks, u start comparing and u realise that lia drives exactly the way ken does. it’s just so incredibly touching to see how much she looked up to him and to see her continue his legacy must have meant everything to him.
I agree with you 100% the flashbacks had me by suprise and i got emotional but i was happy they did that. She did so good, she is just like him, the way she drives and talks about and explain thing like he did.
As a 34 year old single dad who was as big a ken block fan as anyone, I'm so proud of Lia. Not only are you keeping your dad's name alive, but you are cementing your name into driving history. Keep it up!!❤
You can tell how much she watched her dad drive, every little muscle movement she makes in the car even her driving style looks just like her dad I think it’s incredible that we have someone like Lia to carry on the her dad’s legacy and I can’t wait to see the legacy she creates as Lia Block not just as Ken’s daughter
The way Lucy said we did it when lia reached the summit was so touching, it brought so much joy to see the legacy live on through them, long live ken, KB43VER
This morning I thought about Ken and what an childhood inspiration he was for me. I grew up with his videos and it makes me so sad that we won’t ever see him behind the wheel again. Thank you Lia to continue his work and hopefully you can drive your own legacy through the books. RIP Ken you will always be loved ❤
To add to all of you... Crying is an understatement. As someone who met and shot a bunch of the Hoonigan videos. This really hit hard. Well done BTS guys. You crushed as always.
As a Father and knowing that my daughter will follow my steps in being a gearhead and sharing crazy moments with her. I can tell you that your dad is extremely proud of you and he was there with you and will always be present in all of our hearts. Congratulations Lia and Lisa!!! Love you guys.
In a world of influencers trying to be famous by showing off their goods and talking like little children; here's Lia shining bright and proving what a real role model looks like. What a special tribute.... And I'm not crying..... You're crying.
Watching this with my 1 year old son taking a nap in my arms and just overwhelmed with emotion. I know exactly how proud Ken would be to see this. Sending love to Lia, Lucy and everyone else who misses him.
I feel silly, getting choked up by a video. So weird to get emotional about a dude I didn't actually know...but I could just tell Ken was a great guy and I loved everything he did. I also want to say that it is the coolest thing ever to see Hoonigan stay invested in Ken's legacy through Lia. Absolutely awesome. Keep putting her behind the wheel, and keep bringing us along for it!
I really want to see Lia’s reaction to this video, especially the part where you kept switching from her driving to Ken driving, that part had to hit her straight in the feels! What an incredible tribute, well done Lia, Lucy and all of you that made such a special moment in time so perfectly memorable!
Seeing Lia shake her head no to not being ready to get out and Lucy grabbing her hand I found myself breaking down as a dad of daughters , my middle Lias age and being a Utahn that’s been a KB fan for such a long time , having just lost my mom to an unknown , sudden brain tumor , I feel for Lia, Lucy and the block family, I can’t imagine but so greatful Lia followed so closely in Ken’s passions , she’s got a talent , a gift like Ken had and she’s going to be in the spotlight for a long time as her talent continues to develop so rapidly. love you Blocks , Thankyou for still sharing Ken’s passion and dreams with the fans .
Seeing this reminded me of the video of Ken teaching 13 yr old Lia how to do donuts and thinking that it was one of the best demonstrations of a father / daughter moments ever, he was just so proud of Lia when she nailed it. It wasn't for show or the cameras, it was just a dad and his girl, absolutely beautiful. It saddens me that he wasn't there to see his girl do this run because I can only imagine how big his chest would be, just burstin' with pride. Congratulation to Lucy, Lia and the whole crew who made this tribute happen, a wonderful tribute to a very talented driver, husband and dad! 💛💛💛
I can't believe that I miss someone that I never knew, so much. Ken had a much bigger impact on the car and motorsport world than I/we thought. Lia is well on her way to greatness, just like her dad. Excellent drive!
I couldn’t even watch this video right away. I had to prepare myself and wait a couple days, because I knew it was going to be emotional. What an amazing tribute. I hope the Block family realizes how meaningful it is for them to march forward like this so publicly and shine like beacons of hope and positivity for us all to see. Thank you all so much.
Man I knew it would hit me at the end, but wasn't expecting it to hit that hard. Congratulations to Lia, Lucy and the entire team this was masterfully done. While watching it the idea of getting Lia to drive a real modern Formula 1 car popped into my head seeing how amazing her racing journey has been so far. Think with her amazing talent we've seen so far. How nice an experience like that could be in the future.
Okay who was cutting onions during this?! So amazing seeing them live out Ken's dream and just the passion for it. Hearing them both be told to "go easy" or "Sunday drive" and saying nah that isn't how we work just shows that they carry Ken with them. So much emotions, good job ladies and team!
As a father even seeing the title hit me. Some of my favorite videos were you two and this is a thing you'll always have to connect you in such a unique way. Ken will be missed, but seeing you take the torch is impressive and moving. Crush it girl. ❤ (p.s. the cuts of Ken and that moment of Lucy and Lia at the top... I'm not crying; you're crying 😢 😭)
I've been a hardcore fan since i was 5 and really before that me and my dad would stay up all night watching ken, well I'm 19 going on 20 now and sadly never got to meet ken in real life. he's the very reason i got into motorsports and I'm sure for a lot of other people as well, and to see his legacy be carried on threw Lia is just amazing, she is the most talented driver I've ever seen, she's right next to her dad, her ability to adapt and overcome is unbelievable and amazing, the likely hood of the team seeing this is unlikely but if you guys do i hope you all happy lives and you guys are inspiration to so many people and we thank you all. Have not watched it yet... but I know what I will say... Good job, Lia! Get it! Your dad would be proud and all of us who loved your dad are proud of you as well.
I lost my father a couple years ago and it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever went through. It makes me extremely happy to see how well Lia is dealing with such a loss and the fact she has such great people to surround herself with and amazing cars like this that connect her directly to her father. In light of recent events, wars and death around me, I can’t tell you how much this means to me, 48 minutes of relief and escapism. It’s been a tough year without you Ken, God bless your team for continuing, and bless Hoonigan for finally releasing this masterpiece. Lia you’re a queen, we’re so very proud of you, thank you for bringing us this beautiful tribute, I certainly really appreciate it. I don’t know what else to say thank you.
I was at my best friend's funeral when I heard about Ken......it was such a dark time. I never knew Ken personally, but used to see him race, and of course loved the fact that he started making videos and putting them online for all of us to enjoy. I'm glad he got the recognition he deserved. Wish the best for his family and friends.

First time the whole journey will be documented. One I can’t wait to watch. I’m sorry your father is gone Lia but I’m super glad that he got to teach you how to drive so you can Carry the torch in his honor! I hope you the best for your career. Your doing amazing so far!
By 2:51, it already is...
The fact that these guys are taking care of their friends daughter to this level of fatherly love is wonderful to see and brought a tear to my eye.
Amen, Amen.
@@michaelfarr6884 yeah I had goosebumps from 5 mins in I don't think I've watched anything as much as his reverse entry in the audi
@@bustjanzupan1074 That's a lot of gearhead Uncles looking out for you.
Man the back & forth pictures of Lia & Ken driving gave me goosebumps
That was great they did that, just amazing work
Those clips hit hard.
Sudden ninja cutting onions
I came here to say the same thing. Whew, those clips made this a masterpiece. What a legend this world lost but so happy to see Lia carry the legacy on.
I started getting emotional as soon as she took off, and those cuts hit like a truck.
Im nobody and I’M proud.
@@VroomNBoomHe was her co-pilot the whole way 😇.
@@VroomNBoom this ... his legacy is Lia , gone but omni present in her , with her ,forever RIP KEN BLOCK
Yip me too. Just boom.
Stop cutting onions bro
This was FAR more emotional for me to watch than I was expecting. The Block legend lives on.
Ken was at a disadvantage because he didn't start rallying until he was in his 30s, Lia starting at a young age is gonna help her freakin demolish everyone haha, she's already crushing it at 2wd and she was great at go kart racing too
she 14 when she was driving the Hoonicorn and not sweating it, super impressive.
KB43VER
Ken is with her every step of the way
Tears everywhere. Ken accidentally built lias spirit animal with his ghost watching over her.. Never cried harder through a smile
Seeing Ken’s in car flashback footage while Lia is driving was a beautiful touch, well done to everyone who made this possible! ❤️
Yeah....that one really got me...
It's crazy that it's almost a year, to me it feels like a week ago. I still feel the sadness and disbelief in my heart. Incredible family and legacy he was forced to leave behind.
Same exact thought. That got the feels for sure.
I bawled my eyes out. Its incredible seeing Lia develop as a driver, Im sure Ken looks down with nothing but a huge smile every day.
I have so much respect for Lia, her mother and the whole crew who made this possible. This was a very emotional tribute and it was perfectly executed.
What an amazing family.
i cried the first ten minutes then about a quarter up the hill till the end i cant wait to see what she and the others may accomplish
At the end I started to tear up
Not the only one
the cut from her taking off, back to her mom with a single tear down her cheek was just so heartbreaking. As someone who lost their dad at 17 in 2021, I know how hard it is.
Sorry for your loss my friend, all the best :)

I cried as well, Ken touched so many hearts and him leaving us way too early was such a shock, but he left a legacy that we can still celebrate even until this day, that’s beautiful.

True.

Same.
Amazing job Lia. unreal. Especially where they switched the footage of you and your Father.
KB43ver!
Most talented driver? You fans need to stop overhyping both of them. Yes there talented but no where near the best 🤣
@@JesusG-rd5mt damn i really made you’re panties twist 😂 its just my opinion you dont have to agree. You could think ken block was absolutely trash and it wouldnt bother me, you’re allowed to have your own opinion 😂🤟🏻❤️much love bro have a great day!!
I think everyone that has had the honor of watching Ken from the first Gymkhana videos till his passing has teared up watching Lucy and Lia. Thank you both for continuing his legacy and to everyone at Hoonigan Racing. You're keeping him alive in all gearheads out there. Thank you.
I didn't realize Ken block had died until she said this was a great way to honor her father..
Damn.. Rest in peace Ken
My autocross group would always have get togethers to watch the new Gymkhana videos
He changed the game with those videos
@@raidzeromatt idk how you avoided the news when it broke, but did you watch the final Gymkhana sequel that dropped yesterday? The video is dope as usual, but the end had a nice tribute as well.
@@SecretSauceyjuice Yeah I just watched the "electrikhana" video yesterday
That's probably why this one showed up in my suggested
I've been pretty busy with work/school the past year and only started rewatching the gymkhana series cause I'm getting ready to swap the coilovers out on my car
Hands down Ken has probably inspired more auto enthusiasts than anyone else in the history of autosports
He'll definitely be missed
Honestly this was emotional to watch know that this was where I first saw KB and to watch LB go up that hill honoring her dad was heart warming for me
Have not watched it yet... but I know what I will say...
I can’t imagine how proud Ken would be to see her accomplishing things that very few people ever will much less a 16 year old. Keep up the amazing work Lia the world is rooting for you !
Oh boy, what an incredible daughter they have raised. Hats off to the team for putting this together the footage is amazing as always. The bits that got my eyes to leak were when you put the footage of Ken and Lia together, what an amazing tribute to one of the greatest #KB43ver
Uncontrollable tears in my eyes when she started giving it some! We are all proud of you girl. Amazing
