if i may suggest the next mystery of pokemon should be AZ, the former king of kalos! who you battle once after becoming champion. only to never be heard from again. i myself have been digging and theorize that in ZA we'd be working with or alongside his unnamed brother. or the story behind AZ will be explained in ZA. hearing your own theory bout it would be interesting to watch.
Diamonds are formed under extreme pressure underneath the earth. While Pearl are formed within wildlife under the sea. It's very thematic that the ancestors of people who want to control these powers, created the diamond and pearl... Clans.
The way I see it Diancie is a Queen Bee situation. I feel like every so often the carbinks will choose a specific carbink to feed special crystals to like how bees will feed specific larva Royal jelly to make a queen. So they would feed the carbink whatever crystals that Sundial is made out of and over time that carbink *evolves* into Diancie. But because Diancie is the "Queen" carbink they won't make another until she gets close to passing away
That actually would make sense, given how the Carbinks act like bees or ants(more of the latter) in a colony, along with treating Diancie as their queen in their kingdom as seen in the movie starring them. Since Diancie's Role is to help nourish their kingdom by creating a heart diamond that sustains it.
I think a possible explanation for that could be the fact that Pokemon have been escaping from Area Zero for the last year or so. I.e., Great Tusk/Iron Treads. Worth noting that the Pokedex says "Very rarely seen" under the habitat info for Glimmet. I would wager to say that Glimmet have less of a need for terastal energy as "food" and that's why they can leave Area Zero and get their nutrients from generic cave walls, but Glimmora may need tera-specific energy in order to stay satiated.
I'd bet my left acorn that she shows up as a character that is taken and never seen in game again by the "bad guys" until the events the rose the question of who she is. Maybe idk
There’s a lot of unexplained and unresolved stuff in Kalos. Besides the Ghost Girl, I have been wondering for the past decade what exactly is Zygarde’s role in Kalos and how is it connected to Xerneas and Yveltal? Rayquaza has the power to stop Groudon and Kyogre’s destructive weather powers and stop them from fighting, Giratina is antimatter and is the opposite of Dialga and Palkia who represent time and space. And Kyurem is what was left behind after Zekrom and Reshiram split apart from the One Dragon. It’s even stranger that Zygarde has more importance in Alola than Kalos.
Glad that you're covering my favorite Mythical pokemon, I think one of the Biggest misopportunities of X&Y is that they didn't do anything special lorewise with Diancie despite being the only mythical pokemon capable of Mega Evolution. They just give it to you in the pokecenter through an in-game event that is not available anymore. 3:16 Well, in Movie 17 we see that Diancie can make Mega stone to Mega Evolve as seen with creating her first diamond that she gave to Bonnie. Which she uses to Mega Evolve in the movie's climax through the power of friendship. So that theory isn't out of the question.

Glimmora is based on "cave flower" mineral formations and is likely meant to be a kind of environmental mutation in response to the unique energy of the cave over millions of years. Cause sometimes rocks and inanimate objects become living Pokémon.
There's also Pecharunt looking like Glimmora when hidden in its shell, and them sharing the poison type, even tho Pecharunt comes from somewhere that isn't Kitakami
I’d like to think that when Diancie was a Carbink it’s stones were from the sundial and then it just kinda evolved into Diancie but it was more like a slow progression into a Diancie and not just an evolution, making it able to mega evolve.
Looks like crystal Pokémon just tend to be linked to the crystals that cause the regional gimmicks. Maybe Mega Evolution (which also changes some Pokémons) types is in some way linked to Terastalization.
Tbf, Glimmet is found outside Area Zero, while Corveknight specifically is only found in Area Zero (cus of Tinkaton) while Rookidee can be found outside. It could also just be a Late Game things cuz you also find Wild Dudunsparce, Farigiraf, and Volcaona down there too.
In its movie, Diancie has the power to create diamonds, and also creates its own mega stone. Probably Diancie has something to do with the creation of mega stones in general?
I guess it makes sense that they seal regigigas in sinnoh while the regi trio are in hoenn, because we know that regigigas only moves when the regi trio are in its presence (in our party)
diancie one is a bit of a reach to me not only does the crystal shape not match diancies crystal parts shapes nor is the pink the same color..the mega evo connection is pure coincidence ...diancie is clearly base off pink diamonds and the sundial is likley based off morganite, pink sapphire, pink tourmaline , pink garnet as those match the shade of pink the sundial is as for the glimmora theory is pretty good however i think it being a living terra crystal is a reach as for the archie maxie theory i like this one and it makes sense
Glimmora is probably meant to be the predator that would’ve caused terapagos to slowly go extinct. They hang around Tera crystals and may be attracted to them because they crystals come from their preferred food source. Carbink could also be another food source since they inhabit the areas.
Glimmet and Glimora eat nutrients in the cave walls so it’s possible Tera crystals are very nutrient rich, causing the species to collectively move to Area Zero then they have a resemblance to Tera Jewels in a similar way to Flamingos becoming pink
The relationship between Carbink and Diancie is that CARBink is based on CARBon and DIAncie is based on DIAmond. Maybe a Carbink can become a Diancie much like a new bee can become a queen bee if its predecessor dies.
There are multiple names locations throughout the Pokemon world that seem like they have something going on with them but really dont. The Sevii Islands for example had several like the Dotted Hole. Honestly the Sevii Islands themselves are kind of mysterious with how little we know about them. One other thing i want to know more about is Sword and Shield's watchtower ruins. I believe it was planned to be part of some event but none that im aware of ever happened with it
Diancie's 'mutation' is a fakeout by TPC. It isn't a mutant, a Carbink underwent the natural geological processes to turn from a stone into a gem, most likely a shard from the Sundial may have influenced the appearance being pink because it could have gone straight diamond like Carbink looks to be going but instead it became a pink diamond.
If you factor in the hypothesis that Pecharunt is a ‘matured’ or somehow altered form of Glimmora, plus the vague implications of Terapagos having some indirect ties to the Gen-5 dreamworld, things get kind of interesting. What if Pecharunt, with its curses that amplify greed and feelings of personal inadequacy, is a Glimmora who somehow survived being cut off from its main food-source of Terastal energy? Terapagos seems to be implied to exert a ‘lure’ of a sort, especially to ambitious or driven people with big dreams, and Pecharunt offers a twisted form of fulfillment of more materialistic personal ambition in a sort of dark mirror of Terapagos. What if Pecharunt targeting Ogerpon and her masks was due to the Tera crystals embedded in them?
I got Y late by a year or so, and followed none of its marketing. So after I saw everyone with Diancie, I figured she was an evolution. So I caught dozens of Carbink trying to figure out how to make them evolve... Then a friend laughed that I was clueless for not knowing any better. Gotta love not knowing how things like Mystery Gifts worked as a kid/teen
Just wanna point out that the Archie and Maxie ancestor portraits resemble the Ruby/Sapphire designs, not the ORAS designs. If anything, this makes it more likely that Legends Arceus takes place in the Non-Mega Evolution timeline.
Given GF and TPC have been proven to be working at least one and a half to two generations ahead at any given time, them re-incorporating Mega Evolution and all the connections between gemstone based powers in relation to gemstone based Pokemon and, more literally, their accounting for Mega Evolutions in Legends Arceus makes an odd bit of sense with Legends ZA's existence. That's without the callbacks to Kalos found in Paldea AND the Apex Paradox Pokemon being an ancient Mega Salamance and a futuristic Mega Gallade/Gardevoir fusion.
Is Diancie seriously the only Kalos Pokémon that can mega evolve? Like, the generation it was introduced didn’t even give it to any of the Pokémon introduced in that generation!!!! That’s too freaking sad!!!
So personally Im starting to think we may not get Legends ZA till Christmas next year. IMO unless they release a trailer at the Game awards on Dec 12 we're not getting it till late next Christmas season.
Another connection between ORAS and Legends ZA is Omega means Last or Ending and Alpha means Beginning or First while in ZA the Z is the last letter in the alphabet (ending) and A is the first (beginning) 🤷🏾♂️
What bothers me about Glimmora, and it’s poison typing. A lot of the times,”important” Pokémon have lore attached to their typing. Why is it so important to area zero? Is it a sentient terra shard? Why is this CRYSTAL toxic? They talk about Glimmora and Geeta SO much, but the entire game ends on Nemona :)??
I think i've already solved the mystery of Archie's and Maxie's "ancestors", they're not actually their ancestors, but rather their descendants, and i know this because Legends Arceus actually takes place in the post-apocalyptic future, not the past. We know this because if the game really took place in the past, then Rei/Akari would be from the bad future, and as such, after defeating Volo and preventing the bad future from happening, Rei/Akari would start to slowly disappear from existence as he/she would create a grandfather paradox since without the bad future, he/she would've never been born. We know that because that's exactly what happened to the hero in Explorers (which by the way, like Rescue Team, Gates to Infinity and Super, does take place in the distant past, back when humans weren't a thing in the Pokémon world yet and Pokémon still had their own civilization), where the hero is from the bad future, and as such, after defeating Primal Dialga and preventing the bad future from happening, starts to slowly disappear from existence, enough to say its final words to the partner. However, that is not what actually happened in Legends Arceus, because what happens instead is that, after defeating Volo and preventing the bad future from happening, Rei/Akari doesn't disappear and instead simply continues existing as usual, meaning that Rei/Akari isn't actually from the bad future but is instead from the past, which itself means that Legends Arceus doesn't take place in the past but instead takes place in the post-apocalyptic future. So yes, that one time travel detail really can change everything.
@@EsmeraldaMontana That can easily be explained away by the simple fact that the picture of Professor Laventon and the "old" Poké Balls is sent from post-apocalyptic Hisui to modern-day Paldea by a space-time distortion.
@@BJGvideos Not in the original timeline, where without Rei/Akari to stop him, Volo would've been able to achieve his goal and create the bad future. That's why Arceus sent Rei/Akari to Hisui to stop Volo dead in his tracks and prevent his goal of creating the bad future from ever achieving. If Volo was unable to achieve his goal even without Rei/Akari in the original timeline, then Legends Arceus would literally never happen, as there would be no reason for Arceus to even send Rei/Akari to Hisui in the first place. So, my point still stands.
Diancie isnt actually mythical, its just borderlline extinct. Ancient people hunted them relentlessly so they could shatter them to create the sun dial and mega stones. So the sun dial and mega stones were literally carved from pokemon corpses.
Mega evolution is a temporary evolution to enhance your Pokémon’s abilities. Diance is a pokemon who is always diance and does at no point go back to carbink. So no it couldn’t be a double evolution.
Diancie comes from mega energy its not because its mega evolve and is permanently mega evolved and than does it a second temporary time its that the mutation was the gain of mega energy allowing it to do it at all
Pokemon DOES HAVE insane lore, like what do you mean dude? As for these mysteries, the fact that all of these can be connected to Legends ZA in some capacity makes them all even more interesting. I can't expect all of these to be answered in just one game though. Maybe some of them, but not all.
Pretty sure for the first one that the sundjle is ske.thing called a heart diamond from.incies own movie. It was a powerful item in the movie only Disney could make
I... don't get the basis for the connection between Archie/Maxie and the Diamond/Pearl clans. Is it just that the portraits somewhat resemble Archie and Maxie, or is there more to it? Because I don't really think they look that alike, tbh. The red haired man always made me think of Azeru/Mars, and the bearded man a generic samurai. Could just be me, idk. However, the portrait of the man to the left of both of their portraits is unmistakably Alder's ancestor, right?
Achie and Maxie ancestors look like tenryubito from one piece flooding the world and all land creating the red line pokemon creators know how one piece end
I feel like you're way overthinking the Hisui thing. The simplest rationale would be "lol here's these two groups that fight all the time let's connect them to two other groups that fight all the time"
i think carbink is missing a evolution that is missing thatis a stage between diancie and diancie has a true evolution that make that item we know mega is a partial evolution to a true on so i cant wait to see true evolution of these pokemon imagine how strong and cool these pokemon are
I think diancy(don't know how to write it's name English is weird) is a mutations from carbink and not all of it evolved because of one thing. Like how there are pokemon that has pokerus and there are not and any other thing about pokemon with special thing that any pokemon usually don't have it. Probably because of that unique making carbink able to absorb all the energy because on what I read carbink absorbing energy and it suddenly mutations ti a new different form. It is not mega evovle but a specialty like how femalae combee are. For that second pokemon it's type and based on the pokedex, probably a one pokemon that has something tk do with unique energy that help paradox pokemon and other special pokemon to spawn
Dang I hate when people call it "tur-apigos" because it has "tera" in the name because of the terastal connection. You don't pronounce tera like "tura" do you... I guess everyone has their own way of pronouncing things, though lol. Nice video!! As always :)

Glimmora is like Unknown they are nothing special but also very special for only being found in one place
Carbink also spawns near the Crystal Pool, so that made me wonder if it has a connection to Terastallizing
i think carbink’s “sudden mutation” was just it evolving into diancie. i think of its relationship to carbink how manaphy is to phoine…kinda
When we get Mega Carbink, it's gonna be just a blue Diance.
There's also Pecharunt looking like Glimmora when hidden in its shell, and them sharing the poison type, even tho Pecharunt comes from somewhere that isn't Kitakami
I like that the leaders/founders are just straight up celestial dragons from one piece
I’d like to think that when Diancie was a Carbink it’s stones were from the sundial and then it just kinda evolved into Diancie but it was more like a slow progression into a Diancie and not just an evolution, making it able to mega evolve.
This video makes me want legends z-a more!
Looks like crystal Pokémon just tend to be linked to the crystals that cause the regional gimmicks.
Maybe Mega Evolution (which also changes some Pokémons) types is in some way linked to Terastalization.
Do a part 3 of pokemon mistyped explained
Maybe the connection between Terapagos and Glimora is a predator/ prey thing.😊
Glimmet and Glimora eat nutrients in the cave walls
so it’s possible Tera crystals are very nutrient rich, causing the species to collectively move to Area Zero
then they have a resemblance to Tera Jewels in a similar way to Flamingos becoming pink
The relationship between Carbink and Diancie is that CARBink is based on CARBon and DIAncie is based on DIAmond. Maybe a Carbink can become a Diancie much like a new bee can become a queen bee if its predecessor dies.
What if Diancie and Carbink have a Manaphy/Phione situation going on?
cresellia isnt mythical
it should have been. Has the aesthetic and is the counter part to darkrai
Theory: carbink only evolves into dance in the mega timeline by using some from of mega stone evo item
Glimora can actually be found earlier than area zero. I found it in a cave in just normal. Paldana
Pokémon has insanely deep lore what do u mean?
If it didn’t there wouldn’t be 100 chnnls dedicated to it
Exactly
Guessing is the capacity to know without proofs. Proofs are still good though and simplify things tremendously.
Ever notice the Sundial has a hole in it?
I think that's starting to get into epileptic trees territory
I got Y late by a year or so, and followed none of its marketing. So after I saw everyone with Diancie, I figured she was an evolution. So I caught dozens of Carbink trying to figure out how to make them evolve... Then a friend laughed that I was clueless for not knowing any better. Gotta love not knowing how things like Mystery Gifts worked as a kid/teen
Honestly though, your situation is a pretty good example of why making a Pokémon only obtainable through Mystery Gift is a terrible idea.
what if glimmora is some kind of an offspring of the fallen terapagos kind since ive heard there used to be more like terapagos
Just wanna point out that the Archie and Maxie ancestor portraits resemble the Ruby/Sapphire designs, not the ORAS designs. If anything, this makes it more likely that Legends Arceus takes place in the Non-Mega Evolution timeline.
So is Diancie the Paradox Version of Carbink then? 🤔
Also, Diancie is the only mythical Pokémon to have a mega evolution.
In my honest opinion, Diancie should’ve just been a regular evolution of Carbink, there’s really no reason for it to be a mythical.
GF said they leave things mysteries vague intentionally because it’s more fun
So personally Im starting to think we may not get Legends ZA till Christmas next year. IMO unless they release a trailer at the Game awards on Dec 12 we're not getting it till late next Christmas season.
Anyone else watch these vids on 1.5x speed to hear him speak at a more regular speaking cadence?
But you can find Glimmit in the cave before the psychic gym
Been a fan since Gordon Hayward was a Jazz iykyk
I dont think so since Professor Laventon and the old pokeballs are shown in the history class.
How would they create a paradox? Volo was ineffective. He couldn't achieve his goal. We already knew that going into things.
What the song playing in the beginning of the video?
Diancie isnt actually mythical, its just borderlline extinct.
Ancient people hunted them relentlessly so they could shatter them to create the sun dial and mega stones.
So the sun dial and mega stones were literally carved from pokemon corpses.
Mega evolution is a temporary evolution to enhance your Pokémon’s abilities. Diance is a pokemon who is always diance and does at no point go back to carbink. So no it couldn’t be a double evolution.
Diancie comes from mega energy its not because its mega evolve and is permanently mega evolved and than does it a second temporary time its that the mutation was the gain of mega energy allowing it to do it at all
i just want eternatus and it’s weird design justified/explained one day
It might have something to do with the meteor that killed off the dinosaurs.
how about captain cyllene from Pokemon legend of arceus who Im pretty sure is an ancestor to Cyrus from team galactic
It was a powerful item in the movie only Disney could make
i have a feeling that sun and moon and scarlet and violet are connected
All the main series games are connected
I... don't get the basis for the connection between Archie/Maxie and the Diamond/Pearl clans.
The simplest rationale would be "lol here's these two groups that fight all the time let's connect them to two other groups that fight all the time"
the anistar city sundial is #1 on my pokemon mysteries I wanna know list
starting to think the leaker skipped it to nit spoil ZA
Not bro forget ing about that greninga can mega elovle😭
Diancie > Carbink
Manaphy > Phione
i think carbink is missing a evolution that is missing thatis a stage between diancie and diancie has a true evolution that make that item we know mega is a partial evolution to a true on so i cant wait to see true evolution of these pokemon imagine how strong and cool these pokemon are
I think diancy(don't know how to write it's name English is weird) is a mutations from carbink and not all of it evolved because of one thing.
Terapagos and Glimmora are the same color.
they also have the same shiny color
Dang I hate when people call it "tur-apigos" because it has "tera" in the name because of the terastal connection. You don't pronounce tera like "tura" do you...
I guess everyone has their own way of pronouncing things, though lol. Nice video!! As always :)
Diance is also the only mythical mega soooooo I need uxi azelf mespirit megas
