We have an air conditioner that we attach to our suit
In winter the driver’s compartment is one of the best places to sleep in.

the ready magazine is sort of semi-automatic. it is meant to dispense a gunner/commander selected round to the loader.
I think that the lights are hitting the tank from all directions and because of that there are no shadows except below the tank as the light can not get under it that well, that happens in real life too.
Not quite so in WT I believe, especially when Flares are out in night games, its incredibly inconsistent. But its better than a pitch black game!
WT doesnt have real dinamic global illumination. The engine doesnt know how to handle the so called "Night shadows" and that what is causing those shadow artifacts.

They need to buff the armor on Merkavas they arebreally lacking in protection.

True like M1A2 has unpenetrable cheeks even by top shells same with Leos Lecrercs Challies evenT series but Merks and Arietes get paper armor even tho they are top tier and not light weight mbts like Type 10... if armor is classified they can make random numbers on these tanks but choose to make some of them shit for some reason
@@jPlanerv2 ariete is paper irl, merk isnt that armoured either(against KE) and you would need sources to get the armour changed
@@einar8019 Actually the merkava uses Slera on the armor department. That's a mixture of NERA that Leopards use etc with ERA that you see a lot in russian tanks. So yes, it should be able to Withstand APFSDS at least in the turret, like the leo or the abrams.

I get shot through the thickest part of the turret every second game from every distance, you can occasionally let a round or two bounce but if you opponent knows kinda where he has to shoot, you’re one shoted easily.
-7 depression and the fact that you’re bigger than 2 t80bvm‘s put on top of another make the rest of the - for me - reasons to not play it.
I spend money to get to the mk4m bc I’m such a fan of those vehicles and I waited months for the update in pure agony 🤣 but I really regret it and I could talk for pages on why I’m upset over the merkava 4 tanks…
i really like the tanks design, but holy is it garbage compared to the Russian and German MBT's, it has literally 0 protection against darts, which is by far the most common ammo you will encounter at top tier
@@BryanPlaysAlot I think it’s not particularly the design, it’s more the values that gaijin gave it which makes it crap. I mean you definitely should bounce every apfsds flying from 0 degree angle towards your turret, no matter if you shoot center or high or even low. It had about ~700-800ish mm of protection against KE in the Test server (correct me if I’m wrong) which was perfectly fine.
And the protection against chemical warheads is also pretty much none if you play the 4B. The APS of the 4M is also sometimes pretty inconsistent, I really often die to frontal shots by Russian Heat-fs.
Not to mention the khrizantema rockets, they are an overkill anyway even if they shoot the tandem warheads they just have to touch you somewhere and your whole crew dies magically just out of respect for Russia…

Also they have badly modeled both hull and turret armor, since the Merkava doesn't have a common NERA on the hull and the turret should have more KE protection.
But what we can do when the NERA KE value is less than fabric rubber? (Check the forum section about Israel, i'm waiting for a possible buff or fix to play the MK4s but i've little hope for that ...)

i kinda can see why they did the reload time 6.7 but as a merkava 4 former loader they train you all the time to do less then 6 sooooo idk i guess they can improve it.

Fun fact those two rounds behind the engine bay are stored in armored cells that are fire proof... And obliviously none put those rounds irl operations with these tanks..
The turret armor needs a major buff and some on the hull. The reload rate also needs to be same with western MBTs. Legit the same 120mm gun, same blow out Panel placement. Unless it was a trash autoloader, which it doesn’t have it. It only has a rotational ammo feed behind the blow out panels that connect to the secondary ammo loads

Justin, the reason why there's no shadows is because of those flood lights pointing in all directions pretty much, seen it on construction sites the lights around just I guess simply cancel out the shadows cast from the other lights hence why you see them underneath
also, the merkava 4 can fire LAHAT missiles in real life (laser guided I think).
there's light's all around it. the only shadow you'd see is under the tank

The Strv. 122s have the best armor of any MBT currently in game.

M322 is the CL round so pretty pointless to nerf it if the merks get a better shell anyway

I tried grinding isreal to get the mk4 but the premium merkava is so bad in my opinion purely because of fire power, 9.0 with M111 is so bad especially since my luck is so bad I get uptierd every dang time so I'm just a giant paper tank for T-80B and turms
Lmaoo, the merk mk2d is amazing, as a 7 year warthunder vetran i love it, yes the round is lacking but its pretty much aim at weakspots like almost every other tank.
You gotta remember that the russian armor is kinda broken aswell, the ERA on the TURMS is acting like relikt at the moment and is stopping kinetic rounds so that might be why your struggling, but you just gotta aim for the weak spots, that front sprocket when its facing you just of centre from the front, or the lower glacis on the T72 is an insta kill so just play smart. And remember it could always be worse, you could be using a Leo 1 with actual paper armor😂
Sounds like a skill issue. M111 is perfectly fine for 9.0.

You lack armor,speed and penetration power.
Armor only works against idiots who doesnt know where to shoot and even if they dont know but have powerful ammo you’ll be most likely dead.
The only good thing about this tank is the 40 degree horizontal speed.
Btw bein 7 years of veteran at this game doesnt prove anything, i saw many plebs even tho they joined 5+ years ago.
