- Set to launch soon this year, the Proton X90 is possibly the most anticipated car right now. It is Proton’s first hybrid car which coincides perfectly with Proton’s 40th anniversary this year. Lucky for us, we’ve been given a chance to drive the car. Here’s what we think about it.

Came for the car but left more impressed with the presenter lol. The new guy is excellent. Smooth review delivery, professional manner and very fluent speaker. Kudos 👍🏼

Well spoken and good command of English. At least not monotonic.
The cinnamon brown is actually the best looking among other colors.
I love the colour lineup but I do wish more car manufacturer brings back fun colours i.e yellow, green, or something. E.g like the new Ayla in Indonesia

Impressive! The car, the presenter, the review. Just the rear end a bit off.
Presenter are well informed and knows how to deliver those information. Good delivery, easy to understand and most importantly, smooth.

The only 7 seater mpv with Turbo hybrid ice & 7 sp dct in Malaysian market..
its an SUV, there is other choice such as the Mazda CX-8 2.5t AWD that has 228bhp @ 420nm torQue…
@@jasonkok9942 the cx8 2.5t awd of course better. In malaysian market price comparison is much logical than segmen or specification. Lets see when the x90 price announced.
This is 7seater SUV with mild hybrid its not the same hybrid like in other hybrid variant car. 1.5tgdi 3 cylinder engine with mild hybrid. I hope the price is reasonable and better nvh cabin sound then the x70 since some reviewer say the cabin noise and engine for x90 is more loud then x70. Just wait release can test drive later and another car to wait this year is the s50 from proton.
Too bad proton is still not adopting android auto / apple car play. Yes good review. Clear, informative and no silly jokes.
Hopefully they sell the black color version. X70 black seem really different vibes than the rest.
That would be for Government fleet units only. I saw some black X70 with military plates. Really stands out with its black color

Kudos to Proton / Geely for really analysing the road conditions in Malaysia. Not like some big players I know. The Japanese engineers really explored all roads in Malaysia ( moon-like potholes) n decided to omit the spare tyres n rear folding seats. N Most Malaysians r hobbit types, they also decide to make the rear headroom less spacious.

Very disappointed that Proton do not market the 7 Seater with panoramic sunroof like other markets.
This might be the suprise winner in the D segment SUV ....

Its a good replacement for the Exora

Sepatutnya tak lebih drp X70 berdasarkan perbandingan harga Geely Boyue & Haoyue. Kemasan dalaman X70 juga lebih mewah.
Tambahan pula cukai kereta yg ada 3rd row kerusi lebih murah drpd kereta yg ada hanya 2 row.

Tested it today, overall I like it except for the seats which I m surprise that it is too small, I m not exactly fat, 80+ kg only. Surprise to view so many review and non have mention the seat. The center console is too wide making the space cramp.

No it's not boring car. The design is very impressive and offers better features than any Japanese brands in the market. It will the Honda CR-V and Toyota Cross a run for its money at any given time 😊
