Dave bringing up the loss of practice time when it comes to managing multiple social media accounts is a real thing. It also applies I think to all the extra DAW stuff people are basically expected to know today. For every hour spent diddling with drivers, plug ins, captions, headline blurbs, choosing the right pic for the TH-cam page, etc, it's an hour not getting better at your instrument
I don't think they are underrated. Everyone knows they're amazing. They just won't be as big as Metallica or any other radio rock band. Quite frankly, they don't need to be because that would involve dumbing down their sound.
16:36 Dave compliments Herman beautifully. Dave is both an insanely talented and insanely underrated guitarist. The man is great and he reminds me of Claude Giroux. LETS GO FLYERS!
Just wanted to drop a comment and say thank you. I played guitar lefty for most of my young life but after a severe fracture of both my radius and ulna on R arm I switched to playing right handed so my "bowed" arm that healed crooked essentially would become my picking hand rather than my fretting hand which was no longer possible due to the limitations I incurred from the injury. After a nearly 10 year hiatus seeing your videos reignited the passion in me and I've been working slowly within my limitations from SEVERE tennis elbow in the affected arm (my R arm, now my picking hand). I had given up on trying to retrain my brain back in the day but coming back now, I've been able to get the skill back and my fingers are moving just fine as I work through my scales, chords, and modes with ALL BRAND NEW muscle memory completely opposite to how I'm used to thinking as a L handed dominant male who learned guitar fundamentals L handed. I truly would not be playing every day again if not for you and I wanted to just tell you as one of my "guitar heroes" that you directly inspired me and continue to inspire me to play guitar. I will continue to work within the limitations of my injury but nonetheless will be playing guitar. I'm working on a custom body that would be easier to handle/hold with my injury and it's just in the "drawing"/planning phase. I'd be honored to purchase it through your store if that is something you would consider taking on for someone who would not be playing at all without your inspiration =). Cheers Herman Li!, John Panarello. 32 years old. Blues/Jazz + Classically trained but love to shred.
Great video, guys! Loved it! Dave made a good point about how important the stage show can be- my youngest son (18) isn't into much heavy music, but we talked him into going to see Rammstein with us, and he loved it. The lights, the pyrotechnics...He was riveted. It really did make a difference in his perception of the music.
If you make Pro models of those two new Warriors Dave, count me in, I'll do whatever it takes to own both of them. BTW I've been a Jackson Warrior player since 2007, and I have bunch including the USA/Custom Shop models... But right now the CS stuff is way above my budget limit.
@Herman Li you should listen to to the cover of your bands song by johnny cash's son band called: the cash collective they change the song title to read: through the fire and the flames
Did I say something I shouldn't have said in this? 😅 @HermanLI
doesnt matter lol

David Davidson is an incredible musician, and Revocation is one of the most underrated metal acts in the modern era

Dave is one of the GOATs, his riffs and solos stay with you forever.
Please listen to Revocation. Just trust me. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed.
