Man your car is so different now then what it was in the beginning! I just got a 2016 Ford Fusion AWD and im looking forward to making some changes myself and i really like your ideas. Thank you for sharing them with us!
Just wanted to thank you for making this video. I've have been contemplating getting these taillights for quite some time. I finally pulled the trigger and put them in myself today. Everything went well and I love how they look on my 2014 Fusion!
Anyone who has issues with sequential turn signals/hazard light not working when the the lights are on during the night or turning on during the day, I found a solution. I replaced the capacitor that came with the tail light to “E-projects - Radial Electrolytic Capacitor 220uF 25V 105C” I bought from amazon CA. Idk if amazon US sells them. I connected the new capacitors with Heat-shrinking tube. The inguinity tail lights have 1000uF capacitors. Hope this works out for you too!
My right lights do not turn and the yellow lights remain static. But the left light works correctly With what you say it will be fixed? I sent a message to the seller and he said just cut the capacitor and it will be fixed.
A lot of it, yeah! Aside from the grill and I’m not sure about the taillights because I think yours are newer so they have a different shape, but as for what I’ve done to mine, the led spoiler, decals, roof wrap, tint, wheels, brakes, interior upgrades, splitter (I’ve yet to install but is actually cheaper for the 2019 spec), and turn signals I know should fit!
Personally I haven’t found that to be the case, they give off more light than the stock ones but it is possible different sellers have subtly different variations
Yea the rear of mine is basic. Just spray can lol. I got custom made headlights from travis. Well he fixed them. So I def need something on my tails. Either custom again or these.
Sup broham lol I just brought the tall lights and I followed this video to the tee, one problem though they're not fitting properly any suggestions on what I can do??
Yes! So there's two things, one is more finessing it and massaging it into place but if that doesn't work a very easy fix is taking a drill attachment and widening the opening the screws go into to get it right where you want it. Hope this helps!
Definitely a fan of your work and I decided that Id revitalize my Ford Fusion Titanium as well its a 2013. I did get the lights as well because I was inspired by this. i am curious however, if the plug and play just gives you a solid bar when you have your hazards on or turn on either signal, would i need to do any additional programing? also to add to that the passenger side trunk portion of the yellow bar flashes while the rest of the light remains solid. Any advise on what this could be? Any help you can provide would be epic. either way your car looks amazing from what you have done to it so far. Thanks for sharing this video!
damn....I could have wrote that....I just got my windows tinted out....$250...lifetime warranty....I like the style of the 2020 titanium rims....but want them blacked out....paint? powder coat? or just buy new rims....still thinkin
My 2 cents, I'd say go for new rims, to buy the 2020 rims and get them painted or powdercoated is about the same price, but with new rims theres more options to the look and its a custom piece not many people will have
I bought these for my fusion but at night when my lights turn on automatically, the taillights stop working like they do during the day. Do you have that same issue? The brake lights turn into the turn signal and the middle light acts as the brake light. And when I bought it, two wires were flipped and I had to have someone else rewire it.
I would say it depends on how much cheaper, but if the seller themselves have good ratings and a solid return policy then I would say there’s some safety in that
I've seen on some reviews that people have had issues with condensation and recommended sealing it with silicone. Have you had any? Is silicone nessecary?
Dito got wicked taste and great ideas for his Fusion, RESPECT BRO! Hell yeah I am now subscribed to this channel and giving it thumbs up! Will those tail lights fit a 2020 Fusion Titanium Hybrid?
Thanks so much man! I know there's a way to convert them to newer models but I'm not aware of the full extent of it, the fusion groups on FB would know though!
For my 18 I have ordered a trunk trim piece to replace the big chrome part (thanks Ford) and a 13-16 rear deck wiring harness to make this work. I haven’t heard about any ‘20 Fusions doing the same, I think they did change the trunk lid *again* with the ‘19 facelift but here’s hoping it would work.
Hey Dito, I just bought a set of these off Amazon. Did u have the problem where the turn signal on the tailight won't work if the car is running? I read on another video that u have to buy a 25V 1000UF capacitor? I wouldn't even know how to wire all that in
i got a 2017 fusion have you had any issues with weather stripping leaking water on top front passenger door? went to a car wash and water leaked in my car
I don't have a part number since I bought it used from a junk yard, but if you search roof console that's what they classify it as. And the number would be the same regardless of color to my knowledge
Bro those are sic af!!! 🤟🏽🐻🤘🏽thank you for sharing and hooking it up with the link. I really want to get the chrome frames around the window changed to the color of my car.
I had a Lincoln MKZ Had a small accident and cracked the tail light , I replaced it with one from a junkyard I ordered from Texas So I know that OEM tell lights aren't cheep I'm wondering how much you can get for your old ones. Probably over 300 for all 4... more if u split them up. I'm guessing but a quick check would give real accurate answers.
I know MKZ tail lights are a little more expensive, but fusion tail lights aren't too pricy given that they're all the same up until the higher trim levels, so usually around $200
@@DitoCardona Does your light fit flush at the end mine doesn't. The problem I have is that my Fusion doesn't have DRL so when the lights come on at night the turn signal stays on and the break light blinks. They look real nice.
I have a dilemma, I want a Genesis Coupe or a Fusion. I want the genny for the power and the sound, design and its a coupe... but its old inside. But i need opinions, i’m a fan of sound, exhaust, and customization. What should i do???!!! 😓
I’m definitely biased on the fusion but I’ll give you some points on the fusion side, the interior would be a big one for me because realistically you’ll spend more time inside the car than looking at the outside of the car so if the genesis is too dated for you then you’d have to make it a point to dress it up a bit vs the fusion which has tons of modern touches and comforts. I don’t know about upgrades for the genesis but the upgrades for the fusion are really affordable and you’d get a better low mileage drivetrain for the money. And exhaust is always something you can modify to your liking so unless the exhaust note of a specific vehicle is what you want then you can always make whichever you choose louder. Hope this helps 👍🏼
I purchased two sets of these tail lights (Amazon) and neither set fit flush against the body. Did you have any issues with yours not sitting flush? From the video the lights looked like they popped right in with no issues.
So I would suggest just making the hole the bolts go into larger so that you can secure them flush. The metal there is very thin so all it takes is a drill attachment and I've seen this done to get perfect fitment, hope this helps!
Hey buddy! Got the lights and installed. Question, how did you deal with slight fitment issue in the corner? I noticed the pegs are a lot shorter than the OEM and I suspect that is why there is a slight pop out issue.
I got you! So there's two ways to mess with the fitment, the first is more finessing in that you emphasize the contact made in that corner and adjust the tension on the nuts according to the angle you're pressing the light in. If you're still having issues another easy fix is to extend the holes in the metal that hold the screws. The metals pretty thin and the screws aren't in a fixed position once inserted so its a pretty casual adjustment but both can definitely help!
@@DanNPTRI basically just drilling a hole near it to extend the space, after adding the hole you can connect the two together and smooth out the transition. It won’t be visible in any scenario because the taillight itself covers the outer end and the liner covers the inner.
I have a 2020 titanium....I like the blacked out break lites....but ive heard cops dont like them....in SoCal anyways....has anyone got a fix it ticket yet...or am i worryin about hear say....
I’m in Texas so it’s probably not the most accurate representation of what you’d go through, but I haven’t had any issues and I’ve driven with cops right behind me. I believe you get a little bit of leeway because they’re not the stock lights, if you just tinted the stock ones you’re actually limiting the visibility which can get you in terrible, but these are still really bright and they’re just made to look darker.
@@morrisrodriguez4279 it’s a little more specific than that, so tinting stock taillights are illegal because you’re messing with the actual factory equipment. In doing some digging before buying these, since these are aftermarket taillights there’s a few requirements they have to meet in being that they can be seen at 1000 feet at night and I believe 300 in the day. There also needs to be a rear reflector on the car which is towards the bottom in that trim piece. In the listing it categorizes these taillights as DOT certified which mitigates what a cop can tell you about them.
just out of curiosity how do you feel the fit is? I have the same and I feel like they bow outward no matter how much adjusting Ive done. I also had immediate condensation after the first wash. lmk thanks
If you're dealing with condensation then I'd suggest returning them and getting a replacement, I've had mine for 4 months and haven't dealt with that. As for the fitment if need be just extend the holes that its screwed into, then you can get really flush fitment, hope this helps!
They are located towards the bottom inner section and are very bright! It slipped my mind to film that when checking the functions but I’ll throw it into a future video 👍🏼
Mine were free shipping, yes, I think because they are coming from China shipping prices change from time to time depending on when you’re looking, but you can for sure find some with free shipping! That happened with my headlights too, it’s just a matter of checking every once in a while because there’s tons of different sellers.
At the beginning in the video he said where he got them and said he posted a link in the description. I'm no rocket scientist but you might want to start there.
Hey just wanted to check in on the quality of these tail lights. I love the look but I’m very antsy about going through with the purchase. How have they been for you? Do they hold up well?
@@keontapurcell3430 I’d say to focus on the areas of contact, so have someone else help you, one person puts pressure on it to hold it in place and the other tighten the nuts so it can grab flush or even adjusting the screws separately. If it’s more just the alignment in general and it’s not adjusting then you could probably talk to the seller and get a replacement. Hope this helps 👍🏼
@@DitoCardona About to order this and thought the same thing. Fitment seems okay but noticed the seam seal isn't on the new lights. When your removing the OEM you will see what I'm talking about. 3:18 Doesn't this ruin the water drain channeling? If I recall correctly the back window channels the water down into these sides so this would mean your introducing a bunch of water into the housing/frame/bumper area?
@@DanNPTRI something I think I missed, that curved seam seal piece comes off of the stock light and fits into the new one, there’s a couple screws you can see when taking the taillight off that hold it
Each state has different regulations for taillights, but the general rule of thumb if you're concerned is as long as they can be visible at a distance then you should be fine. In all the time I've had these, I've never been pulled over for them and never been told anything by cops. Though they do have the appearance of a tint, they're super bright

That happened with my headlights too, it’s just a matter of checking every once in a while because there’s tons of different sellers.
@@DitoCardona ok Kool. Some of the tail lights have shipping between $150 and $230. Your Fusion looking good.
@@Nytewolf718 thanks man! And I know there’s a seller that has free shipping I’ll drop the link if I can find em!
www.ebay.com/itm/353330473893
This seller has free shipping and a lower price
@@DitoCardona Thanks. I have it on my wish list. Hopefully in a couple of months I'll be able to pick it up.
Where did you buy those taillights?? 👀👀
Absolutely! They've been on ever since this video and have worked great since!
Where did you get the tail lights from?
Did you have any problems with the fitment?
I thought I was going to but once all the nuts got tightened properly it pulled the lights into place
Oh ok. Just install mines yesterday but it's a gap around the tail lights. Any suggestions
@@DanNPTRI something I think I missed, that curved seam seal piece comes off of the stock light and fits into the new one, there’s a couple screws you can see when taking the taillight off that hold it
What website did you purchase them ?
eBay! Link in description 👍🏼
I need help with my tail lights
these look fire
Looks so nice !!
Thank you!
@@DitoCardona of course !!!
They make nothing for mine i guess because its to new its a 2019 sel turbocharged
What year is your fusion would these work for my 2018 fusion hybrid ?
I need help looking for those headlights in a 2017 model pls help lol
Lol I’ll see what I can find, but might as well ask the people selling them what’s out there!
Why didnt you get the titanium taillights?
I wanted something different and darker, the titanium taillights are too similar for what I was going for
that looks fire! gonna try to find some for my 2017 fusion sport
Replace the chrome trim piece in the center, get a new harness and they fit!
right!? id love something like this for my 17.
Can I put them on my 2017 ?
Yes! You just need to replace the trim in the center and swap the harness, I break it down in my mods review video
What was the customs cost?
The overall price changes with shipping variables but the taillights are usually about $400
I hope there’s a video how to extend the hole to make the lights to have a flush fitment. Or at least a picture, showing how wide you drilled.
Looks good bro
thanks man!
Will the back lights work on a 2020 sel series
that is so sick
Well now I gotta buy em
Hey man question are those taillights illegal or legal hopefully if you could
Reply back thanks
Each state has different regulations for taillights, but the general rule of thumb if you're concerned is as long as they can be visible at a distance then you should be fine. In all the time I've had these, I've never been pulled over for them and never been told anything by cops. Though they do have the appearance of a tint, they're super bright
Mine art getting enough power when the headlights are on
I had a 2013 fusion on 20 inch TSW diamond cut wheels..... thinking about getting another one.... great every day driver 💯 you should check out my Taurus.....just put custom flow series head lights grill lights and underglow 💯💪🏿
