- WHEELS has recorded more of Holden’s history than any other motoring publication on the planet. It’s only right then, that Wheels did something unprecedented to mark the end of Holden’s local manufacturing.

Holde will be truly missed ! It was one of the last automakers to actually give you what you wanted in a car . Gm stopped caring what we as a consumer wanted and handed us crap ! Holden didn't forget that a Dad still wanted to drive something that made his heart race even though he had a family . You had utes , wagons and sedans that will be missed by all . Thank you Holden cause even in the States you will be . missed !

I am also happy that the game Forza Horizon 3 really celebrated Australia's motoring history.

It only had the new or classic Falcons and didn't have a single car with the Commodore name. I love FH3 but it doesn't have many AUS cars.

Didn't even have commodores in it except the "Chevy SS" that game is an insult to set it in our great nation and feature their bullshit Chevrolet American left hand drive version of THE car of Australia.
I consider it damn unforgivable that Australia will no longer be producing their own cars anymore, that they have to rely on other countries to produce your products. How is that right?

I myself have only had either a Australian Holden or a Australian Ford in fifty years of driving.
I currently own a VYII Holden Adventra LX8, and can honestly say that the car is very underrated and I cannot understand why because it is a great car.

great effort getting all these old girls together but as an EH owner you know the EH Holden the highest volume selling holden of all time i would think it would get some kind of mention.
The EH I like it’s style a classic should of got a mention along with the HQ my fav my era and sorry Charlie the HQ was the biggest selling Holden of all time lol.

I live in the US, but this is still sad to me.
The '04 Pontiac GTO is still a head turner in the US, I guess because of it's no fuss smooth appearance.

If anyone is thinking of buying the new inline 4 holden Commodore in 2018 DON"T it is awfull I was just in the UK and drove the Vokal insignia wich is the Opal insignia the new Commodore. They are awfull underpowerd pices of **** it has parking sensors that drive you crazy a stupid eco mode that always turns you car off when idle it stalls when you are in 2nd going 15km/h the dash feels cheep and not impressive it feels like you are driving a $15,000 car. in my mind this feels like a fucken bullshit replacement and dose not deserve the Commodore name and GM in america chose the first car on the rear page and kicked it to holden to make a car out of it and said oh you cant have RWD.
