I always feel that looking down into the mouth of a barra with it's tail still in the water is like looking down the barrel of a cocked and loaded gun.
LMAO. i had this and more in my playlist. this was 6 yers ago. Steve is still wearing the same fishing hat in 2024. That's how good his apparel is. I've purchased his Decals for my AP-120, Hats, Shirts, Masks, and Steves stuff is all top quality. Plus free shipping. Yeah Baby! 🐟🎣🌊
Steve, exploring a new fishing spot is almost as exciting as opening a Christmas present. The anticipation of what you may find is part of the experience. I made a promise to myself to fish 50 new spots this year. Watching you try to remove that inhaled lure from the Cuda reminds me of the pickerel/pike up north.
Good job Steve and fun day of catching! Past couple videos you make me feel anxious when dealing with those trebles and the barracuda. As you know we really gotta make sure they are tired and wore out. That was one heck of a camera shot at 8:16 though, showing the easier way to dislodge hooks when they are deep. Keep up the good work you're doing great!
Very informative! Thanx again for these lessons of Florida's coastal fishing. Every time you do one of these, I see what I've done wrong, and say aloud- that's why I didn't catch anything big! THANX FOR YOUR EXPERT TUTORIAL!
Thank you for uploading so much fishing videos lately! In one week I‘ll be fishing in Cape Coral, your videos really inspired me :) Greetings from bloody cold Germany
This year 2018 is the Keys trip we are catching snappa, we are doing your deep jigging as well. We have learnt much from you, your a professional , I call you the fish whisperer.
Once again Steve, a great video and very informative. Keep up the good work mate. Looking forward to more of the same. Cheers from Perth WA Down Under.!!!!
Hi Steve, GREETINGS FROM Czech Republic. Is there something like polarizing filter you could use for your cameras to have a better videos? They are miracle for observing fish in the water, eliminating reflection of the lights. I love your videos, thank you for posting them.
I’m not even a fisherman but I do like this guy and his videos .. always exciting to watch .. keep up the good work. Where abouts in America are they shot? I’m from England but it looks stunning where he fishes
Smithy82 Channel this particular video was very educational, couldn't believe all the snapper, sharks and rays....fresh snapper is so good too... The Real JoeyB Dallas Fort Worth Texas USA utilizing the Traeger Timberline 1300
Steve- appreciate telling us how you scout out a new area. When fishing the cut through do you let the bait flow with the current or do you throw down the current and retrieve up stream?
i picked up really long pair on needle nose pliers from home depot they work great for removing hooks from the toothy guys without getting your hands close to the mouth, and if you have to get deep into the mouth to
Hey Steve I’m trying to figure out this whole subscription thing now I don’t see why everybody that dose subscribe to your channel or any other fishing channel should subscribe to every fishing channel as well ? I spent the last day going through just trying to find fishing channels and subscribing to them until that happens no one‘s ever going to get ahead unless you’re already ahead now I know that sounds familiar? I’m guessing it doesn’t work like that?
Hey Buddy, let me preface this by saying I fish with plenty of treblehook equipped lures. But I was wondering if you ever think it might not be worth the hassles it can cause and the damage to some fish? I don't feel sorry for any cudas, but when ever I see a video of a sea trout or redfish with the second treblehook sunk Into an eye socket or even eyeball it makes me vow to replace all my treble hooks. I must admit, I never quite seem to get around to doing it. Plus the risk of something like that Cuda twisting around and planting several hooks deep in you. Just curious about your take on it. PEACE!
I always feel that looking down into the mouth of a barra with it's tail still in the water is like looking down the barrel of a cocked and loaded gun.
I love the sound of drag when the cuda was pulling.
One day I'm going to swing by your place and weld your spinning handles on the correct side!
Those are fighting words......just flat out crazy talk........👍🤣🤣🤣
So if you are right handed, you throw a baseball with your left hand? Use a baitcaster upside down?
Erik Larson what's baseball, is it like NASCAR?
Yes! And we drive on the wrong side of the road!

Thinking the same thing. A set of Jaw spreaders could save a finger.

Love those Cuda head shakes!

Great Video
You should do catch and cook on barracuda! Would love to see that and know the taste of them!
You should do it first! Then tell the rest of us how they taste! ;)
I've cooked cuda, surprising how good it is. Bonnet head?, Can't be beat.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I do like your videos Great Great

Look at them snappas!!
Where did you launch from in this video, I’m going to the keys in 8 days, and I’m getting excited!
Took me a while, but I found the launch. How big of a boat can you launch from there? I got a 16' Scout Sportfish that drafts 8/10" of water?
You should feed them snapper a chum block once or twice a week. They'll get big and juicy for you and you can get good underwater footage.
How much time do you need once you get to the launch and you start to pedal out to fish?
Bottom right at 10:26-10:40.. whats that moving through the water 🤔
Steve what's your opinion of renting a kayak from robbies of Islamorada and doing the same.
i picked up really long pair on needle nose pliers from home depot they work great for removing hooks from the toothy guys without getting your hands close to the mouth, and if you have to get deep into the mouth to
Is that a big ray that swims through at 10:30?
Went to channel 5 pier and Friday and there had to have been 5 huge tarpon under the pilings.
You should do some pier fishing videos?
c&c went down the bottom?
Can you do a Cuda Catch N Cook?! Try cuda ceviche, its delicious!!!
1st cuda was named Michael Jordan -lmao -good stuff
Take the first trebble off and put an up riding single hook barbless in the back. Its what i do for blue fish and other toothy fish i end up catching
Barracuda catch and cook
You first.
Should use a krocodile spoon with a J hook and maybe a trailer for cuda.
I would toss the rapala bro
How successful is your channel? Oh. Never mind. I see you have zero videos uploaded. He should take your advice for sure.
Erik Larson
single J hook on a spoon less likely to hook himself nothing more
Catch and cook!
everything looks kinda brown after the hurricane..... shade is perfect for the spearing... bummer.
Catch n cook

That thumbnail does not do that river monster Justice. At 6:45, you can see the extremely large teeth that thing has. What the heck is that anyway?
It's a barracuda. I wouldn't exactly call it a river monster since they aren't really found in rivers but eh whatever lol
MTrout lol. Ocean monster
Shart @ 12:39 😂😂😂
I sharted when he did the jack-off video.
y arent you using a fish gripper jesus!!!
Who thinks he needs a new seat and hat 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
