Holy sh@t, that cracks me up. One of your smallest pink lines indicating tarpon spots is where I told you about that stupid tarpon eating my mangrove snapper (just east of Big Pine Key). I can attest that those spots are accurate. Damn spellcheck tried to change tarpon to tampon.

Follow the guide boats....that's the worst. Having a tower boat is a complete magnet. I mean it's true but kind of sucks because I've put in years of work only to have leaches come in.
It's that way with every hobby that is also a profession. As a wildlife photographer it's annoying to have someone see you set up your tripod to get the perfect shot and then they come snap a picture literally over your shoulder. But look at it this way, location isn't everything. They still aren't as likely to catch a tarpon because they don't have the experience. Just like the snapshot taken over my shoulder is not going to compete with the photo I end up with. In both cases you just hope that they don't frighten away your subject of interest.

Grow up, get a pair, and be happy you get to make a living being on the water like you do instead of acting like you have never fished next to another charter boat or individual fishermen.
