    #50 - It's a good thing you captured the Pyramids in the last part. That way, you only have 2 more desert wonders left to get before you have them all - namely the University of Sankore and Jebel Barkal.

    It’s almost like they designed this civ specifically to keep less experienced players from falling apart when they try domination because you get so much free era score and it encourages to you to build entertainment districts and buildings so your amenities don’t totally suck

    One of my last games was a Diety (or Diety ++, I can't really remember) game with Byzantium, and it was quite a blast, especially winning a religious victory when I intended on winning a domination one (last few AI did not have long, anyway).

    only Byzantium can cause you to curse the AI for not making enough military units.

    Not often you see the Delicate Arch fully surrounded by non-desert tiles. (see at, for eg. 18:30)

    Victory Hippos? Are those like Pablo Escobar's Cocaine Hippos?

    • @eduardo3652

      Yes, as far as they are both death machines of destruction, but no as the Escobar Hippos have terrible movement speed.

    Contrary to the popular image, Canada is a huge arms dealer in real life, including to brutal regimes like in Saudi Arabia. They are the 2nd largest exporter of weapons to the Middle East.
    Seems like Canada's AI was trying it's best to role-play.

    The Virgin Germany: Calls itself the "Holy Roman" Empire, doesn't even found a religion and gets swept by actual Romans.
    The Chad Byzantium: Romans that don't even call themselves Roman, actually founds a religion and just takes over the HRE without a Tagma breaking a sweat.

    So did the belief that lets you buy Entertainment Districts with Faith work on Hippodromes? Or just the buildings e.g. arenas?

      It was just the buildings in the Hippodrome- same as Jesuit Education for campus/theatre - but it did work for the Hippodrome as an Entertainment District

    My copy of civ 6 on console has been freezing within the first 30 turns every game. I would ask for any recommendations, but I know all I’ll get is why the hell are you playing on console and that’s the problem.
    But seriously, does anyone have any fixes ?
    Tried deleting old files and cleaning the disc.
    And Ofcourse I tried to start a Byzantium game yesterday and it froze. 15 minutes later Ursa comes out with his Byzantine video. Lmao it felt like the world mocking me 😂

    • @chrizzie1
      @chrizzie1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadness. Unfortunately, I don't know of any fixes for you. The best I can suggest is going into the settings and making the game autosave every turn, that way at least on restart you shouldn't lose more than a turn of progress. I have a similar problem playing on PC; sooner or later my game always freezes or crashes, with no apparent pattern, so it's hard to figure out why. So yeah, I feel your frustration.

    • @jonnylaser85
      @jonnylaser85 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrizzie1 yea that’s what I been doing. But unfortunately every time I have to restart and reload the game it takes probably 5 minutes … Then I’ll play maybe 5-10 turns then do it all over again.
      Just glad someone feels my pain lol

      @johhnylaser85 What console are you playing on? If it has a HDD (xbox or playstation) how much space is free on said HDD. I play mainly on PC, but I also have a copy on the switch, I have noticed some lockup, but not as much as you describe.
