#51 - Mexico City is not perfectly placed, it's advantageously placed. If it were perfectly placed, it would have at least 1 desert tile where you could build the University of Sankore.
I just won my first Deity game with Byzantium. I had the perfect Paititi-Wonder start and won on Domination at turn 136. Then I tried again conquered almost a,l cities and got a 182 science victory, that was truly the perfect game
T138, 97 cities. That's a little disgusting, but a lot of impressive! So freaking quick. You really know how to manage the churn, or do you edit it out?
It is probably even hard to get a domination win with Byzantium. The last target must be a very weak opponent that you take the capital in 1 or 2 turns. Or you will end up converting most cities before winning...
I find it funny how byzantium almost seems easier to use on higher difficulties. I remember a game I played with them on emperor (or maybe it was king, I forget) where I kept going to war with civs where they didn't send enough units to defend, so I couldn't convert their cities to get through their walls. A better player probably would have accounted for this and brought either siege weapons or missionaries, but that better player would also probably be playing deity.

How you keep coming up with these I have no idea
Ryan really pulled an Alexander the Great this game. He just kept going east until he hit a boarder. But unlike Alex he then just kept going.
Borders are just lines drawn in sand

That sounds epic!
its amazing how Byzantium is like this and then poor old Egypt is over there with basically 0 unique abilities
32:31 „I love it when there are SLIGHTLY weaker units around you“
Brother, its a Doubleshot 95 Combat strenght Field Cannon vs an ancient Archer.
A slightly weaker unit indeed = )
The sheer lunacy of "Proper Rome" always amuses me... You think you're going to get another episode in, but BANG and the Civs are gone.
I honestly didn't know how good Byzantium could be. That was epic!
I would absolutely suggest giving them a go - so much fun!
i wanna be just like you when i grow up!!!
THE TRUE ROME PREVAILS!

I edit a lot out!
Also wait till you see my Scythia series...
i think nobody pointed that out, but taking Hamilton with horses it's kind of funny... i guess the theater play was kind of accurate.

It's true! Very hard to do unless you try, especially if you trigger a religious emergency glitch by accident
38:16 "Do you ever have this thing where you're a TH-camr..."
No.
Omg yes I remember "Will it Blend!" Shows like that and "Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?" helped get me into TH-cam.
I know it would be irrelevant to the game, but I wish you had tried to settle a city where those floating volcanoes were!
ikr it would have been awesome

domination works so well on deity for just the number of cities alone, it's true!
9:58 How utterly British a response to a thing that should not be!
You should have taken a bunch of Canadian cities then sold them back for an immense amount of gold in the peace deal.
I fucking love Byzantium
A sea of purple. GG
the canada slander in this game is egregious!
I'm amazed you have internet to even be watching this
Purple banana
Still saying Khemens! I think the people of Cambodia would be very confused. Khmer or Khmey, but who in the world are the Khemens?!
K pop, K drama, K mens
@@PiotrDzialak Straight from Seoul to Phnom Penh!
Ryan, it looks like Will It Blend only stopped posting videos 1 year ago.
WHAT???
Byzantium is so OP.
India with 1800 military strength … sorry India is not the size of the army but how you use it effectively. Although with bizantium size matters !!!
Hey Ursa. You should do a Stock standard. No DLC. No Mods run of the latest base update. Obtain All victory types in a row. In Marathon time..
That sounds like pain..!
it would have been pushing it if you got to horsecopters
did ursa ever find that last civilization?
Turns out it was the friends that we made along the way
Ursa, Rajendra Chola is not female. The picture of his statue is a bit misleading.
Now I know!
For the algo
