I thought they don’t come with engine oil? You have to add oil before first use.
Yes you are correct you have to add oil when I pulled the dipstick out on mine. It had oil on the stick so I thought they shipped it with oil only to find out they didn’t and the reason there was some oil in there was because they do test them out, but then they extract the oil before they ship them, I hope you enjoyed the video and if you can leave me a thumbs up
It seems ecoflow always has ways to get extra money from of us for adapters we need but aren't included with their units.
That's another $70 for the adapter to connect the pro to the generator. You can cgarge from the generators AC Outlet but without all the generators smart features that monitors the battery level. Plus, using the included cable, you are charging with DC to DC, which is more efficient.
Actually, ecoflow could have a smart generator connector built into the pro instead of using one of the extra battery port.
Yes, I was stunned when I realized the cable would not connect to my Delta Pro. It doesn’t make any sense why they would sell you a generator that works with the Delta pro and give you a cable that won’t connect to it that you have to buy an adapter and then the other thing is the cables short if you have your batteries at one end of the garage and you wanna put your generator outside the garage the cables not long enough, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and if you can leave me a thumbs up.
Great video. Too bad those adapters don't come with the generators. Just another way to squeeze another $70 out of us.
Yes, it’s all about the money.
Looks like you may have gotten a refurbished or a returned unit. We have 2 Delta Pro’s w/ 2 EB’s each, 2 of these generators, the remote screens, the double voltage hub and 6 400w EF folding panels. The folding panels are for emergencies. We have 3.6kw of hard panels deployed that deliver the 1600w max to both delta pros. With the generator and full sun we can pump 3200 watts into each delta pro and extra batteries.
Thank you for your comment. This is the best way I think to be able to use the units for household battery back up. I wish I would’ve waited for the Delta pro ultra, but this is what I have and the way you have set it up is , In my opinion is perfect. With no instructions,scratches and oil already in it tells me that they sent you a used unit.
Yeah, I thought so also but I found out that they do put oil in them to test them and then they suck out the oil and there’s usually a little bit of remnant in there the scratches I’m not so sure it works great so I’m happy thank you for your comment and if you can leave me a thumbs up.

Nice video. I think the adapter is due to the smaller Delta 2, Delta Max, and Delta 2 Max using a different battery connection port. It would be nice if you could do a recording of the generator sound with fixed volume (relative to a known level such as a car engine or speech) as it sounds very noisy in the video…
