Sammy, I remember when this came out in 81. It is such a pleasure sir to hear your vocals and g. work sir. Your music is timeless. Future generations will be singing your songs for generations to come. Excellent.

I grew up with Sammy in the 80’s and his music was always a staple in the garage parties I attended.
It’s almost scary how good you all sound truly like a fine wine better with time I’m now 56 and I first learned of Sammy with that awesome tune Heavy Metal 9th Grade I was 14 or 15 and never been the same you ALL have stood the test of time

This has always been my favorite Sammy Hagar song since I first heard it in 1981!! Heavy Metal still ROCKS! BTW - I love Vic's Gibson LP Guitar with the custom tremelo! I want one!
Finally saw The Circle last summer and they did not disappoint. Sammy is a great singer and the whole band is a lot of fun. So much energy.
Especially when the group covers his entire catalog…. And some great Zeppelin!

I was a fan of Sammy from Montrose and loved his solo stuff plus other things he did with his own bands much more than what he did with VH. I always felt he was being held back on his potential.

Sammy brought a lot to Van Halen. He could play guitar while Eddie played keyboards. Then Eddie would take the solo.
Just magnificent , I saw him open with this in 1981 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London. Loved it then , its even better now all these years later. Keep going Sammy !

God damnit! I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG! Even more so ever since the first date with my wife. Long story short, we were at the back of a GA concert. I mentioned how I wished we were closer up, and she said “hold my hand, these do more than just make me look good (referring to her boobs)”. Next thing I knew we were up front and center stage. She cut through the crowd just like a fucking wedge! That’s when I knew I was a lucky man!!

Watching these road trips, Sammy just has fun. I started as a Sammy Hagar fan because of my Uncle. In the early 70s he introduced me to Montrose. Bad Motor Scooter.

Sammy looks slimmer and younger. Love this guy. Seen him a million times in the Bay area and never been dissapointed. The most unusual one was him and Eddie Van Halen playing with Simon and Garfunkle in 93.

It's really something to see Sammy Hagar just enjoying himself with what he does. How cool is that.
Especially compared to *another* singer who once really had it but now for some reason thinks it helps him when he dresses up just wierd - like something a person coming to paint your house would wear??? And that other guy isn't also a guitar player.

I saw Sammy open for the original Boston lineup in Boston. He was incredible.
I saw that show in Mobile, Alabama 1-30-79!
I went to that concert because Sammy was opening. Many others followed like went to Styx because the Babys opened, Little River Band because Poco opened, Jethro Tull because ELP opened, Pretenders because Iggy Pop opened, Iron Maiden because Twisted Sister opened, Billy Idol because the Cult opened.

I was able to pass out heough this great Tunnel of signatures and got back stage for a group called Widespread panic. And I saw This particular Sammy Hagar show, and twice since.
I've been to this ICONIC venue probably about 20-30 times.

Great performance! I still find the change that was made to the opening riff (both here and way back in an early recorded version) to be an odd choice. I first heard this song in the animated movie Heavy Metal where the opening is slightly different than subsequent versions…to me, the movie soundtrack version was different in a good way. Rock on Sammy!

Sammy knows CT songs. I'm dead. And that rendition of Heavy Metal was one of the best I've heard (and I've heard it many times). Sammy should have featured Vic years ago.
They're having fun and living the life. You can tell yet so many bands are unable to attain this. Music is supposed to be fun, entertaining and fulfilling.
