Sam now flies in a Challenger 300 biz jet which is in the Mercedes class of jets.

Then signed it and gave it back to me. All the while everyone was trying to get the shirt. He carefully gave it back to me and no one else. What a wonderful man and husband and father. I met Sammy in of all places, Roseville, CA at a wine / classic car show. I’m talking to this raggedy-haired dude about the classic Mopar cars sitting in front of us ( 70’s challenger, “ late 60’s Roadrunners etc...) and I said to him after a few minutes “Hey man, you going for that Sammy Hagar look today bro?” He turns to me and pauses for a quick second and says “Shit, Sammy’s goin for MY look man!”... it was just him and I standing there at the time. So after a few minutes, my wife walks up and I said, I was just talkin to some dude that looked just like Sammy Hagar ... so we go home and I said let me look up pics of Sammy because I noticed when I was talking to him a couple of tattoos he had on his arm ... and sure as shit he had the same tattoo... I just thought it was cool how he played it off! He opened up a restaurant and bar in Roseville with his son shortly thereafter but I had no clue him and I were just standing there bullshitting about classic rides... seemed like a cool guy! I was sitting in a bar/restaurant in Folsom CA some years ago, and an older couple walked in and sat next to me. We started talking right away about beer choices, and they introduced themselves as Bud and Lou. A while later, the woman (Lou) asked if I knew who the Red Rocker was? I looked at this 75 year old woman and asked "Sammy? Yes, I am a huge Sammy fan!" She then said "Well Sammy married our daughter" as she pulled out her wallet full of family photo's. I couldn't believe it. They then invited me to their Christmas party that was coming up in a few weeks, and said "Sammy and our daughter and the kids will be there. We would love for you to join us!" I was so excited, I started calling all my friends at 11PM about who I met, and was going to meet. Then, I realized the party was the evening that I had plans to take my girls camping 3 hours from Folsom. I couldn't go to the party. About a year ago, I finally told my girls(now in mid 30's) about the party I didn't go to, and they said "Why didn't you come get us and take us to the party too?" Jeeez….why didn't I? Still mad at myself. Its a long story, but the girls biological father was a piece of crap, who went to Canada to NOT pay child support, and wouldn't bother even calling for 6 months at a time. I wasn't about to hurt them with some lame excuse as to why I wouldn't be picking them up. No regrets! LONG LIVE SAMMY AND FAMILY!

I met Sammy in of all places, Roseville, CA at a wine / classic car show. I’m talking to this raggedy-haired dude about the classic Mopar cars sitting in front of us ( 70’s challenger, “ late 60’s Roadrunners etc...) and I said to him after a few minutes “Hey man, you going for that Sammy Hagar look today bro?” He turns to me and pauses for a quick second and says “Shit, Sammy’s goin for MY look man!”... it was just him and I standing there at the time. So after a few minutes, my wife walks up and I said, I was just talkin to some dude that looked just like Sammy Hagar ... so we go home and I said let me look up pics of Sammy because I noticed when I was talking to him a couple of tattoos he had on his arm ... and sure as shit he had the same tattoo... I just thought it was cool how he played it off! He opened up a restaurant and bar in Roseville with his son shortly thereafter but I had no clue him and I were just standing there bullshitting about classic rides... seemed like a cool guy! I’m sure he wouldn’t remember the conversation but who knows???

I was sitting in a bar/restaurant in Folsom CA some years ago, and an older couple walked in and sat next to me. We started talking right away about beer choices, and they introduced themselves as Bud and Lou. A while later, the woman (Lou) asked if I knew who the Red Rocker was? I looked at this 75 year old woman and asked "Sammy? Yes, I am a huge Sammy fan!" She then said "Well Sammy married our daughter" as she pulled out her wallet full of family photo's. I couldn't believe it. They then invited me to their Christmas party that was coming up in a few weeks, and said "Sammy and our daughter and the kids will be there. We would love for you to join us!"
I was so excited, I started calling all my friends at 11PM about who I met, and was going to meet. Then, I realized the party was the evening that I had plans to take my girls camping 3 hours from Folsom. I couldn't go to the party.
About a year ago, I finally told my girls(now in mid 30's) about the party I didn't go to, and they said "Why didn't you come get us and take us to the party too?" Jeeez….why didn't I? Still mad at myself.
Its a long story, but the girls biological father was a piece of crap, who went to Canada to NOT pay child support, and wouldn't bother even calling for 6 months at a time. I wasn't about to hurt them with some lame excuse as to why I wouldn't be picking them up. No regrets! LONG LIVE SAMMY AND FAMILY!
