So you want the Punisher to go after the US military and law enforcement over his old logo? You really need to think before you say shit like that, shows a lack of understanding behind Marvel's political motivations.
Oh, btw, I forgot to mention the runs I've yet to read, like has come tradition for Where To Start, because as long as it gets you invested in comics, then that is the best starting point! So apologies for no honourable mention to the likes of Nathan Edmonson, Becky Cloonan and any other favourites that I missed! This list is just the series I've checked out so far! 🐶

@jamesweall5369 it starters really well but fizzles out after the few couple arcs. After Steve Dillon passes the book kinda lost direction

I’ve been getting into comics recently and these videos have been fantastic recommendations on where to start! Because of your Daredevil video I ended up picking up the Man Without Fear Frank Miller run, which I loved to death!
Perhaps could we see a where to start reading Moon Knight if you know about him, what with the show coming out in a couple months? Also, if you’ve got the time to recommend some characters for me to look into, I’d appreciate it greatly! I’m big into Daredevil, Hellboy (got his first omnibus and I’m gonna do a review series of it on my channel), and I want to eventually get into Venom and Moonie. If you’ve got any recommendations, they’d be super appreciated!!

@@MaddoggComics Can you explain to me if the Punisher's killing of eight generals in Valley Forge has consequences for the Punisher's life? Since they are important people, I imagine the government investigates him, since the lieutenant realizes that it was the Punisher who killed them.

Although I do really like some Enins comics (Welcome Back Frank, the 2 part Punisher vs Wolverine) I leaned more to Chuck Dixon and would have recommended his War Zone arc as well as his Batman vs Punisher crossover. I hated the beginning of Rucka's Punisher run....but it did get real good once it got going. Mike Baron deserves to be on here too, although it is tougher to pick out a particular issue. The Kingpin War kind of had a letdown of an ending. His Punisher was more grounded and less unstoppable force of nature.
I'm 25 issues into the Ennis run and its unbelievable. I have the Punisher first series from 1986 and that's cool to see the original punisher but I agree start with Born into Max bc its def the best so far🔥🔥 and I agree with your view on the new symbol!! Letting a few dumba***s win a loved and classic logo is absolutely ridiculous. New sub!👊

I am so glad that you made this video because I was planning to start reading about Punisher after watching the Netflix Series but I haven't got a proper reading guide yet then I saw your notification three days ago and now I finished watching it and I am planning to start reading about Punisher soon.

Didn’t need to watch this but because it’s you talking about punisher how could I not and you pretty much covered all the best titles…except one Punisher Kill Krew it’s five issues and it’s punisher meets DOOM meets Skyrim and I recommend it if you want to see Frank castle out of his comfort zone.

Anybody. Please. I loved punisher on Netflix and I wanted to read the comics. I just want his main story. Yk... his army scenes and the whole "coming back home and becoming the punisher". And I wanna read garret Ennis' stuff. So should I only read all of BORN and then Max? And why's there 12 different maxes?

Garth ennis punisher max run is my favorite I just finished it yesterday and I loved it!!! I started with welcome back frank in my adult years of reading comics. But when I was a kid I only read punisher war zone #1 (not the one by Garth) and it was my first comic I ever bought and I don’t remember anything from the book except that I loved it and the character. He is my number 1 fav comic character of all time since I was a kid. Even if I consider my first comic of punisher welcome back frank.
Comics are for children. They have such a childish view of violence and death. They cant understand that not all violence is evil and yes violence is even neccessary. Life isnt like spiderman now way home. You cant just stab people in the neck with a cure and they will be fixed. Punisher also dosent understand this.
Missing punisher max vol 2 but i have the other 2 garth ennis omnibus. I love garth ennis writing. I also have preacher vol 1 but financially I couldn't get number 2 yet

Ashamed to say never read a Punisher centric story apart from a Civil war tie in when he tried to join cap after saving Spider-Man in the sewers. I need to be punished for that.😉
