I purchased one of these in purple last month with the discount per the same reasons you listed. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t really notice anything wrong. As you stated these are hard to find unless you don’t mind the price gouging on eBay so I grabbed one and glad I did. Brand new for all I can tell

Also it’s binding by charfleet book binding the one I received is from England made binding and it has a few pages in the beginning of the page that have bleeding marks on the bottom but the rest of the book is in excellent condition for a discount price
Some other 53 doesn’t have charfleet mentioned just Allan binding

I almost picked this Bible for Christmas but...but I wasn't sure about the discounted Bible. Now I know but I'll have to wait because I already claimed another amazing Schuyler Bible 😍 this one in the slate color. I've been nervous about that color that I just stay away from it. But because my husband asked me which Bible do I want I figured I'll enjoy more coming from him 😊😉 if that made sense.

I do not understand the references, take the first sentence in Genesis, it has 3 references, the last 2 refering to Chronicles (Ch) seem to have no relevence, can someone help?

I think it explains in the front that the cross references are to show you where certain words are repeated elsewhere. So it’s a literal cross reference rather than synoptic.
It’s kind of an extension to the concordance.
Have a read through the explanation in the front of Bible, should explain everything there 😊

Great review. In regards to red letter, I really wish they would do it like the KJV Easy Reader does and put the complete Bible in red letter for all Words spoken directly by God. It is what they call "Complete Red Letter." I understand that there are a number of spots where the red letter could be correct or incorrect, but the helpfulness of it outweighs those few places imho.
