That’s a good one too, but my favorite is “If I were a lion and you were a tuna, I would swim out in the middle of the ocean and freaking eat you and then I’d bang your tuna girlfriend.”😂
"I don't know... that 💩 was crazy!" Ice-T's narration is extra funny to me because of his career trajectory from 'cop killa' rapper to longtime TV cop 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not the biggest Will Ferrell fan but he and Mark Walberg have a rare chemistry that makes this movie a real treat. This is a very underrated comedy but it is hysterical.
The two theories behind the TLC references are, Captain Gene drove his son to college and his son played a TLC greatest-hits CD the whole time but the captain was never aware what he was listening to OR because he worked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond he heard the songs while he was working but didn't know they were stuck in his head. The director says it the first one and Keaton says it the 2nd one. Honestly it could be both, he heard it driving his kid to college and while he was work at BBB.
"You thinking what I'm thinking partner?"... "Aim for the bushes." --- Danson and Highsmith were bulletproof and flying so high they thought even Kryptonite couldn't take them down.
This is one of the more original comedies I've ever seen and it's saying a lot given how common buddy cop comedies are. I especially love the whole comparison of real life detective work and movie action cop semantics. That's very clever and yes, mostly paperwork and filing vs explosions and depth defying stunts.
Less appreciated than all his other roles but in it he has the most range as an actor and he's incredible. On top of that it's a ridiculously good movie. More people need to see it.
After seeing the end credits, I wasn't surprised to see that Adam McKay's (director /cowriter) next project was "The Big Short" - a film which takes you into the financial crisis of 2007-2008. It's really entertaining with a fantastic cast. I highly recommend it.
Yeah, that was the theme of the movie that many missed. That we make action movies where the bad guys are drug dealers, terrorists, or criminals trying to rob Fort Knox, where cops like these destroy major parts of a city (and presumably kill many) just to stop them. Meanwhile the people are being robbed blind by corporations and bankers. That the movie wasn't as successful as other Ferrell outings assured that The Big Short (and later, Vice and Don't Look Up) would be made.
The Yankee Clipper is the nickname of the legendary Yankee baseball player Joe DiMaggio who was married to Marylin Monroe. Joe has the record 56 consecutive games hitting streak. He is also referenced in the Simon and Garfunkel song Mrs.Robinson
Mark Walberg can actually dance, yes, and you need to react to him as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch when he was a rapper, Good Vibrations was his big hit back in the day.
LOL!!!! Im shocked that u didnt recognize 'Urshan' as "Damien Cockburn", the director on Tropic Thunder. LOL!!!! Remember him??? He stepped on a landmine and blew up
In the bloopers for this there's a scene where Will Ferrell is screaming at Ershon in his office and he goes, "I will F you", and Ershon gives the absolute funniest look at Ferrell. 😂
The actor is Steve Coogan, and he is an amazing impressionist and comic character actor. Do yourself a favor and look up his most famous character, Alan Partridge. He is also the Roman Centurion in the Night At The Museum movies.
The first time I ever saw this movie, I had a girl over and turned it on for "background noise" and completely ruined the mood when I couldn't stop laughing after they jumped off the roof to the pavement lmao
Just a movie suggestion(hopefully you have this on your list already), "In and Out" with Kevin Kline (1997)- it is great movie with a great message and perfect for this month! Hope you will see this and get it on the list, or just do it!!!! Thanks for all the great reactions too!
Bro, when he does his speech at Bed Bath and Beyond, and confuses the last line, and then does that kind of "skip" like a little league baseball coach, I fing lose it. He is hilarious 😂
Great movie, they also did Daddy's Home together and its sequel which were also funny. Btw , Eva Mendes had a great movie with Denzel Washington called Out of Time
I saw this flick randomly on X'mas Eve late at night in 2010 when I was by myself as my girlfriend at the time was at her parent's house since I was working all day and night. I was going to drive over there the next morning and put this on expecting something light and dumb knowing zero about it and ended up howling the whole time. It's basically a perfect comedy between the dialogue, the editing, the tone, and virtually everything else. When Rock and Sam Jackson lept from the building to splat on the cement so anticlimactic, I had to pause it because I burst out laughing. Like other McKay comedies such as Step Brothers, a film critic put it best when describing it as a very intelligent comedy trapped in a dumb movie, and it works whole. I love you guys caught this one and enjoyed it too because for the longest time, this flick got seemingly no traction or attention which was a shame.
Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell star in another movie together called Daddy’s Home. Some other movies Mark Wahlberg have been in that area definitely worth reacting to are Pain & Gain, 2 Guns and Patriots Day
This is the smartest comedy in a while. It has highbrow, lowbrow & silly everyday things, like the henchman swiping his finger across the roof for a freezee & pumps don’t cry. “I mean there wasn’t even an awning”
Numbers at the end....Hit the brakes...wtf.. LOL Saw this at the movies. I was crying laughing when her mom or grandmom was telling all the sex stuff. OMG so funny.
Some Mark Walberg movies: Perfect Storm,Ted,Daddy’s Home 1&2,The Departed,Father Stu,Fear,Four Brothers,Invincible, The Lovely Bones,Patriots Day,Deep Water Horizon. Mark’s brother Donnie is in New Kids on the Block who is also in tv Blue Bloods and has been in films including HBO Band of Brothers and The Sixth Sense,he was the guy that shot Bruce Willis.
The Basketball Diaries is the best movie Mark Wahlberg has been in. Back in the 90's, him and Leo DiCaprio did an amazing job in that movie. Must watch.
Aim for the bushes is one of my favorite lines. So stupid and hilarious
You beat me to it.. epic line.
To this day my mates and I scream that every time in a game we jump of any roof
@@ravensdark99 I definitely yell it when I'm leaping from a perfectly safe structure.
Hope you like prison food. And penis.
That’s a good one too, but my favorite is “If I were a lion and you were a tuna, I would swim out in the middle of the ocean and freaking eat you and then I’d bang your tuna girlfriend.”😂
I love watching Amber fighting to stay awake 😂😂
Yeah, I loved it lol. Poor girl was beyond ready for bed.
Yeah lmao poor Mrs was cross eyed tired at points, pobresita lol, I appreciate the effort and time you guys take for the reactions :)
Creeps
I understand being this tired😂
Lmao
“There wasn’t even an awning in their direction…”
😂😂😂😂
"I don't know... that 💩 was crazy!"
Ice-T's narration is extra funny to me because of his career trajectory from 'cop killa' rapper to longtime TV cop 🤣🤣🤣
Don't know if you noticed but that was Ice-T doing the voice over. This is just one of the best movies with a stellar cast
I'm not the biggest Will Ferrell fan but he and Mark Walberg have a rare chemistry that makes this movie a real treat. This is a very underrated comedy but it is hysterical.
Watch Stranger than Fiction, it's unlike any other roles he's played
Have you seen them together in the Daddy's home movies?
Not a Ferrell fan either but he does have his good films. ✌️
This was my late wife's favorite movie. She could practically quote it word-for-word. Hilarious.
It was my late wife’s top 5. The reasons why Ershon had that additional apartment made her rotfl.
You two poor guys. I’ve never been married. But I can imagine the emotional pain.
I've got two hugs, one for each of you. 🫂🫂 (yes, that was a Tombstone reference on purpose, idk, it just popped in my head & I went with it)
watching amber try and stay awake is like a other guys side mission:)
I noticed her eyes crossed a few times.
"You shot Derek Jeter! You should've shot A-Rod" 🤣
Bushes**
@@AdamJ09303 I corrected it, but thanks.
Now, whenever someone does something that makes no sense, I say "I guess sometimes you just gotta aim for the bushes."
Stranger than Fiction
That moment SLJ and The Rock jump off the building with My Hero playing is easily one of the funniest movies scenes ever written

9:25 the cut to the funeral and that laughter are just hilarious!
"I'M A PEACOCK!! YOU GOTTA LET ME FLY!!!" 💀
why you up in this strip club? shaking it for dollar bills?!!!

Peacocks don’t fly!!😭😂
YAAAASSSS!! LOVE IT!! 😂
@@felixromero7388 They fly a little bit LMAO such a good exchange
Pimps don’t cry got robbed on the best original song Oscar nomination
It's not an original song.
Stranger Than Fiction is my favorite Will Farrell role. His mix of serious and comedy is absolutely perfect in that film.
Less appreciated than all his other roles but in it he has the most range as an actor and he's incredible. On top of that it's a ridiculously good movie. More people need to see it.
I thought that would have been his Tom Hanks turning point and I am really sad it wasn't
I don't even see that as a comedy. Just a REALLY good movie that kinda warmed my soul.
I praise that movie when people talk about his movies. This movie is second after that movie.
Criminally underrated
“Aim for the bushes” is our goto quote before doing something we know is clearly stupid. Lol
The wife is played by Eva Mendes, who in real life is married to Ryan Gosling.
They aren't married. Doing a Kurt Russell/Goldie Hawn thing. It's working.
Literally the funniest movie I've ever seen. Cracking me up even on the third watch because you notice all the lines you didn't notice before.
The Soup Kitchen line still gets me to this day 😂
We will have sex in your car! It will happen again!

Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby. Mark Wahlberg in Ted 1& 2. And, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in Daddy's Home 1 & 2.
All hilarious movies.
Don't put that evil on my Ricky Bobby.
When a reactor is falling asleep during a reaction. YOU HAD ONE JOB AMBER 😂😂😂
The woman who hit on Will at the basketball game was Brooke Shields, a model/actress who shot to fame in the 80s.
The Yankee Clipper is the nickname of the legendary Yankee baseball player Joe DiMaggio who was married to Marylin Monroe. Joe has the record 56 consecutive games hitting streak. He is also referenced in the Simon and Garfunkel song Mrs.Robinson
Amber literally falling asleep during the movie 😂
The way they kill off The Rock and Sam J is hilarious.
There goes my hero.
"Bad cop, bad cop" makes me cry laughing every time 😂😂😂
This movie is in my Top 5 best comedies list!
Mark Walberg can actually dance, yes, and you need to react to him as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch when he was a rapper, Good Vibrations was his big hit back in the day.
I didn't even realise it was him! OMG. Amber & J. would like the song too.
Mark Wahlberg alongside Andre 3000 of OutKast and Tyrese in "Four Brothers" it’s really awesome
One of my favorite underrated comedies. Honestly top 5 for me
9:49 - They landed on something all right. A sidewalk.😅

You recognized Tracy Morgan at the basketball game, good job. But you didn't notice Rosie Perez and Brooke Shields sitting right next to them.
48 hours and Another 48 hours has to be next on your list..both have Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte..great movie and the sequel is just as great

My favorite line in this movie is when there at the funeral and terry goes “jumped twenty stories… wasn’t even an awning”
In my opinion, this is the most under rated Will Ferrell movie, seriously funny!
Watch Stranger than Fiction
@@run_juan_run Great movie!
Mark Wahlberg's anger and delivery in this movie makes me unexpectedly happy. Cracks me up 😂
"my son's bisexual" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Michael Keaton is low key hilarious in this

You'd love Casa de mi Padre. It's Will Ferrell being hilarious in Spanish and has some of the best visual gags out there.
Perfect introduction to the audience by Rob. Absolute perfection.

Must watch Talladega Nights and Step Brothers! Just as hilarious as this movie! 😆
The woman playing the wife is Eva Mendes, long-time partner of Ryan Gosling. They have two kids and have been together since 2011.
