So you mentioned needing to tell the girl to not eat the bars, reminds me of one of my favorite wedding day memories. I made little melt and pour soaps as favors. I loved playing with mix-ins, colors and scents. WELL some of them were “honey almond latte”. A great friend of ours ended up thinking they were cookies and took a big fat bite out of one 🤦🏼♀️ his girlfriend ran up to me and was like “so you know how you were worried about someone eating the soap? Well Drew ate the soap.” 😂😂

@@prochey69 I ended up making like 130 😅 they were roughly an ounce a piece so they were small! But let me tell you they were a hit! Especially for the people who didn’t eat them 😂 it honestly doesn’t take very long! Maybe 5 or 6 hours in total separated among a few weeks cause life is busy 😂
I recently made marshmallow soap with melt and pour. I brought a piece to my moms, but had to pop out before I told her it was soap. She thought it was a marshmallow and tried it.... then when I got back asked what kind of marshmallow it was because it was terrible 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When my sister was in high school, she and a friend decided to gently taste the lotion at bath and body works (they put tester lotion on the back of their hands, and kind of touched their tongue to it) because “but it smells so good! How can it taste bad?” ... it tasted really bad.
Omg can you imagine the Christmas sleepover becoming a tradition and slowly your sisters start bringing their daughters if/when they have them and it just becomes this amazing pre Christmas party for you girls

To everyone complaining about how expensive Zahida's course is: Artist's time and efforts are valuable and they are allowed to price their products in a way that reflects it! Yes it is an expensive course, but a lot of work went into making it and it would be rude to imply that she doesn't have every right to charge what it's worth.
I think the issue is, its out of reach for all but bigger soap makers. She absolutely has the right to charge what she wants but her target market wont be small and medium soap makers.

A hundred and twenty five bucks for a recipe is extremely ridiculous, though.
1. It's not "just a recipe". It's an entire online class with instructional videos, tips and tricks, troubleshooting, and additional recipes!
2. It's okay that it's out of your budget range you don't have to buy! There are literally hundreds of bubble bar recipes and tutorials online at every price point, all it takes is a little googling to find one that's right for you. She has made a very high quality product intended for the professional maker and the price reflects it.
@@Lillyk96 "intended for the professional maker " The word "Professional" is not tied to the size of the business Katie. I'm glad it's a good recipe for those that go that route. Thankfully, I have my own recipe so I can keep my product prices reasonable.

@@RoyaltySoaps Apparently! Also got my soap today, Mahogany + Amber has such a lovely balance of woodsy and musky notes and Winter Wonderland has a surprisingly clean scent that reminds me of what you want in a fancy hotel soap and never seem to get. Very pleased.

My sister, my nieces and I do a girls craft day every Christmas Eve. We get together, eat yummies, and craft anything from painting canvases, painting wooden shapes, painting rocks, making shirts or tote bags. Then we'll always have a memento of each Christmas.n❤️

Ohhhhhhhh, I am in love with these. I am so inspired to make these and give them away for next Christmas. Or for gosh sake for birthdays. Its unlimited!!!!!! Snowflakes for the sprinkles for the snow globe and make trees 3 dimensional. Tiny trees silicone mold. They also need a base on the bottom.
Cookies are so fun to decorate and you have a big head start. I want to see your cookies finished. Love watching you! Your so funny and alot of fun.
I have a super cute gingerbread house cookie cutter. It's the same basic shape as yours, but also has a door, 2 windows (one round, one square) and the roof line/snow line. Makes it really easy to decorate after with the lines already in the cookie! I could see it easily being used for bubble bars too, if you like the shape but want more details.
That sprinkle mix is awesome!

me and my sister both love this channel and obviously Katie! she surprised me with the Be Kind bar back in June! I have used that soap every day- multiple times a day- since august and it’s only just now become the size of an average bar of soap. It lathers beautifully and smells amazing- I truly don’t think I can ever go back!! Our school just went virtual for the rest of the week then winter break starts. School is having trouble keeping staff and bus drivers. If 1 person tests positive anyone who was in close contact with them for 15 minutes or longer will be quarantined for 2 weeks. So 1 person can be positive but 30 people could be quarantined.
