Ring of roses makes leaves healers so incredibly powerful honestly. You should see those cool downs tick down while in three rings of roses at once (they stack it's nuts)
If you're getting 3 Ring 'o Roses fields, you can't have any of the regen or defensive fields going since placing a fourth field removes the first placed immediately. It's possible that you might want to only have Ring o' Roses for field effects across the entire team. It also stacks with Awakening (+40% damage, 30% less damage taken, +35% cooldown speed, and buff effectiveness only increases the first two numbers, not the cooldown speed) if you can get that on your characters in some manner.
@@celestialspark5697have the Medic's Ouroboros partner be a Seraph, interlink the two and then immediately cancel, boom you have Awakening available to pass to everyone

Signifer is so damn OP that even when other healer classes are being showcased, her master arts and talent art (if usable by the class) affects how good the showcased class is. Heck i wont be surprised if you see some tanks or even attackers have aureole/ resonant flag in their setup.
Come to think of it, you made an offhand comment that makes me think that the War Medic's defense up field has a lot more utility than I originally considered. By giving the Defenders more damage reduction the field is also technically preventing them from losing aggro as quickly as they otherwise would even if they could survive just fine without the field. It makes me want to try a strategy with War Medic or an Agnus Healer with Advanced Cooldown alongside a Heavy Guard off-tank both supporting a main tank that's fully invested in offense. I feel like between the defense boosts from the Healer and the 30% damage reduction from Heavy Guard the main tank should be safe enough without added investment all things considered.
Maybe it falls off or becomes redundant once you get better options (especially if you're running Resonant Flag with Power Charge), but where I am at in the game (late Chapter 4) I really like running Multi-blast with Hornet as a Fusion combo for Chain Attacks; it puts out a ton of healing while contributing a decent little chunk of damage, and means I pretty much always leave Chain Attacks with full HP.
It is the best early-mid game healer and still pretty decent for completing the story. In fact it's 3rd best healer overall even in the early post-game, eventually dropping to 4th.
Wow I never even thought of a class that allowed you to summon mechs in combat, that would have been class. As always the greatest of ideas from the most handsome of lads.
It makes a lot of sense given all the mech engineering side quests you get from Valdi, heck, summoning the big guy you spend so much time building up as an Unlockable Talent Art would've been cool

I haven't even watched most of the video yet but I just want to say I got a good giggle out of seeing that master art selection lol. Truly the most War Medic of War Medics.
Valdi makes a decent addition to basically any-team, as an extra healer/revive is always going to be helpful, but what really makes him shine is debuff barrier and his ability in chain attacks, which gives a whopping 50 TP when used against a machine type enemy. Enjoy those easy Amazing ratings and extremely high damage multipliers!

"War Medic" Okay cool. Let's see how he builds Neo-Sharla "Aureole and Resonant Flag as master arts" Ah, he builds it as a more heal focused Signifer. XD
I kept putting people in this class damn near constantly til like chapter 5- I lacked any REALLY good healing options outside of Strategos, and it was always a good panic button (it didnt help that Medic Gunne and Tactician were finicky at the time) best healing class til lategame when Troubadour pops up, hands down. I just kinda stopped using this after the midgame, I recall it’s heal on hit art being extremely powerful early on to the point that it just kinda dunked on the other healers
I have funny idea for second secret class in game -> gems - 45% shorten auto attacks and double auto attacks + accesoriers -> 100% auto attack crit and 33% recharge arts after critical - that "mage" have best dmg buff in game but builds it too slow - with that settup you shoot magic bullets evry 3 seconds and have max buff in less than 60 seconds. and hits like a truck.

Also, not sure if the AI of enemies factors in and the patterns of their attacks. When do they use arts vs. auto attacks and do they do burst attacks? Only times I usually pay attention to enemy AI is when I'm on a boss I get stuck on, and it's usually specific enemy attacks, not the AI as a whole.
recently discovered devotional necklace and my healing strategy against bosses is to revive instead of heal (damage on hard mode is a bit much) never seen so many giant swings in mu life
Honestly, my biggest complaint with War Medic comes from the fact that you unlock it in main story, and it's intended to be the first class you unlock after Ethel's Flash Fencer- which wouldn't be a bad thing necessarily, if it weren't for the fact that Zeon's Guardian Commander isn't required, which means that with Lanz being the class inheritor, it can make for some messy role distributions when you're trying to level up classes throughout the story. But honestly, I think that's more a problem with the game's tank class distribution than it is with War Medic.
Could you maybe make a video about the things that change in hard mode exactly. And I guess all the difficulties. Playing on hard mode, and honestly dunno how my experience is different. Felt like asking.
The first actual healer class cause honestly war medic is ok at healing and is more for daze and atk ring. And Taion has whatever mess of a class he has with some healing and an evasion ring (healing is worse then medic) And if you do teach first (like I did) teaches class is just weird being a kind of DPS kind of healer that is also not especially great at healing.
I mean, it's not like Enel himself hadn't said similar things when he did an overview of all of them in the tier list video... Although, tbf, a lot of characters, arts, and skills normally overlooked would actually become clutches for people playing in hard mode.
Oh yeah forgot ultimate quigong which is super useful I used it early game then forgot about it. Def good skill wothing maxing for or just obtaining if you're lazy.
Besides needing to level it for Ultimate Qigong, I've found that thaumaturge is decent as a "miscellaneous" class to stick on someone when you've got all your other bases covered. It's a healer class with physical arts, so you can put physical master arts on it without having mixed damage types, which means you can put combo reaction arts on it for extra chances to combo. It can be good in chain attacks when you miss breaking with your opening attacker and need a second shot at breaking without going over 99 TP or using up another attacker. The healing output isn't the best, but it's decent as a secondary healer which can do more damage than a second straight healer would. The talent art is also the best early burst art, and inflicting bind is pretty handy when it works. Overall, I'd say it's a pretty solid class.
Once you get this class, I see (Almost) no need for Medic Gunner until the late game since War Medic is much better at healing. While Medic gunner has Regenerate Field buff, It's just a bit of a hassle to group your allies to fight in the circle, meanwhile Medic Gunner can easily heal off the damage more consistently instead of passively on certain conditions. While Tactician is probably worse than the two, the ability to buff Evasion is much better than Defense in my opinion as Not taking damage is much better than reducing damage consistently. I've always had huge success running 2 war medics on a team. They will almost always keep you up at the cost of Losing some DPS, which honestly DPS mostly matters in the Late game when your team is already good enough to fight off anything all all you want there is quicker kills.
Medic Gunner heals for a LOT more than War Medic does because it can stack Healing License with its own healing effectiveness passive. Has absolutely nothing to do with the talent art.
