Elon wants to literally put a chip in your brain, which sounds a lot more worrisome.
Exactly
Sounds more worrisome, yeah.

You should be too, OpenAI wants to privatize AI. Forget supporting Musk, who wants privatized tech in the hands of the oligarchs? Be real and open a book sometime.
Another apple simp😂
Musk wanted OpenAI to be opensource as he was one of the founders, now its a for profit business acting like a nonprofit so hes salty but its warranted
Good luck with the ban, Elon.
Doesn't need it, he bans Apple devices, and end of story, any employee with one inside HIS company will be fired. Simple.

It would be smart to ban if you are a private company and you are worried about information being leaked & stolen

Samsung gives an option to turn off all AI features.
Yeah, but you can also choose whether to use Siri or not… Google Assistant and Alexa don’t give you the option, they are always listening and aggregating information…
WWDC24 literally made it clearly it is a feature of the platforms, not necessarily the purpose of the platforms, which is why it utilizes ChatGPT instead of a competitor to ChatGPT. Liked browser search engines, you will be able to use whichever AI you’d like to answer your query…
Not everyone uses Google, some use DuckDuckGo, or Bing…

@ThePursuitWODyes it’s funny how people think “AI” is some sort of Magic thing that will turn Conscious and turn on us lol
@@Rocketman0407 Not really the concern. The real concern is it's sharing all your personal photos, notes, and documents with external servers and it's doing this ostensibly so you can search them using "AI" but obviously this also means everyone at their HQ or with backdoors can also search your data in real time whether you intentionally shared any of it online or not.

Apple is not giving gpt for free. The cost will be included in the device purchase cost. It's pricey and everyone knows that.
OpenAI is literally free, unlike Elon's Grok. If the compute and model is done on the device (which I'm high dubious of believing), there shouldn't be any cost involved.
1. Most phone companies use AI. 2. Apple has refused again and again to hand over information to the government. 3. The AI portion is optional and only if you allow it and the OpenAI Integration is used only by SIRI and it will prompt you for permission. Also, if you actually looked at the information, everything ai related except for OpenAI integration is done ON-DEVICE NOT SERVER.

News flash: if you give out *any* information in a search engine of *any* kind, be it the traditional types like Google Search or A.I. generative like Chat-GPT, that information *gets recorded.* What does that mean? It means the tech company that owns the platform a user may be using to get information will *store the exchange of information* between the user and the platform's system in "a cloud." So, while Apple might say that the user's information will be safe "in its cloud," there is no guarantee it will not share this information with government agencies if requested. I have a lot of reservations about Elon Musk, but on this issue, his concern about user-data security is reasonable.
Elon is 100% right on this. MS Copilot and google's Gemini are 100% intergrated within their cloud network. What apple is doing is getting a 3rd party to handle its complex A.I. request and that information is stored in a 3rd party server, regardless of what apple says. Remember a few weeks ago Iphone users randomly started getting photos that they deleted years ago from Icloud. Regardless of if you delete it, that data is still stored. Now a 3rd party has your data. A.I. and privacy are oxymorons!
😂😂 Nothing Musk does is "reasonable"
So X doesn’t keep/store any of our data? Musk sounds like a hypocrite. I don’t believe banning MacOS, IpadOS , IOS et al from X will help X financially. Musk usually runs his mouth, before engaging his brain, like he did when he bought X and made some silly initial decisions. The fact is, if he (Musk) bans Apple devices from X, it will enhance apps like Threads further and may lead to the emergence of Apps like X. I agree with you, platforms probably store our data and use it, even if they claim not to sell or reveal it to 3rd parties. Question is do users trust Apple of Musk? I trust Apple more when it comes to my data.
@@bolivartv That is generally the case _outside_ of Space X and, maybe, Tesla, but he relies on experts to run those concerns, which explains why they may be the exception.

Elon, please concentrate on making TSLA (your core company) better with the incoming competition after you have given the blueprints to your now competitor/s. Also, good luck with the ban as people can still own a personal phone that's untethered to corporate control. Your statement here about banning iOS at your companies is meaningless - "In the US, iPhone has a 58.81% market share.
