My tips to fight with the V.O.I.D. . Sometimes a member of V.O.I.D. will request to join you to... seek salvation? Anyway if there's a request, accept him immediately. I got a V.O.I.D. member with gatling and lots of body upgrades once. Then if the V.O.I.D. send their members to attack, try to take out their legs to make them collapse or use some melee pawns to knock em out. Then capture those invaders and the V.O.I.D. will warn you to free those prisoners in 24H but don't care about that. Harvest every fucking things from their bodies start from body upgrades then important body parts like V.O.I.D. Heart until they die, after they die the V.O.I.D. will thank you for cooperating(I know it's weird but still in a good way). Then upgrade your colonists into superhumans and attack V.O.I.D. bases when you're ready. I visited their base once and after you kill all of them, you will see that their base is fucking rich like they have everything from full stack of wood to full stack of gold, a room contains all V.O.I.D. suits, helmets, upgrades, etc.

What you want is some near-guaranteed way to defeat the first raid that comes after the 30 day grace period expires, and very strict wealth management to reduce the strength of that first raid. After that, you're gonna want some of the strongest fixed defenses you can get, ideally modded stuff. I used to have guys that were good enough to go toe-to-toe with VOID guys in melee and WIN, and that was without their ultimate tier enhancements, either.

I had a similar run but would use ideology with recruitment rituals at the same time as having standard flak gear as the ideoligion's preferred apparel, so the recruited colonists would always have flak gear when they showed up. The lore was that I was playing as an Empire military unit sent to fight VOID.
I had a colonist that was wearing modded armor, had an AA-12 with slug rounds, and had almost over 400% manipulation that got insta downed by a single void member
you could easily prevent the enemies from firing grenades and ranged wepaons by getting into melee combat, and you have an overwhelming numbers advantage so it should've been easy
@NotSoShabby If you also use the rim world of magic mod you can resurrect the undead NH1 monsters. Just a warning though it will give the void the ability to use magic.
If I start out op then allways with custom xeno people. Make them immortal so they can handle all attacks solo. They dont even need armour with maxed out genetics 😏

Yeah, using wealth independent scaling is a great idea. I'll do that next time when I play with a lot of colonists.

Yeah void is Op I had 4 of my people and 10 empire helpers to take down 3 void and it took 10 mins to bring them down.

You can do alot with 100 pawns in 30days but to lose lile that would mean you took too long bring careful with choices
