Fun fact: Samsung doesn't only make screens for iPhones, they also make the NVMe storage in iPhones. They also make the fastest RAM (LPDDR 5X). Apple uses Samsung made batteries.
Samsung is a hardware supplier so they supply lots of stuff to other companies. Even assembly of parts for iPhones is not done by Apple but Foxconn in China.

@@dado380 Samsung was making OLED screens before LG. They just didn't incorporate them into TV's. Why would they when their existing tech dominated the market? LG makes a great TV and they smartly decided to get out of the phone market. They just never gained legitimacy especially with the fails on the G4 and G5.

Most reviews say nothing about the improved modem over the past few years x50 to x55 x60 x65 ect. It is HUGE as far as connectivity to LTE and 5G network bands. Now they are incorporated into the CPU instead separate like on the note 20 ultra and prior and are absolutely monumental for good reception and speed. One of the most important features taken for granted and never reviewed. This phone with series 8 gen 1 has the most advanced modem to date for excellent connectivity and speed in the most remote places.

Finally I bought 1 for 600$ used, in great condition no hic ups or any problems and I can say the camera is like a portable DSLR and I am very happy with it.

Saw this at Best Buy today. I like the plus model for the size, thinness and square edges with flat screen.But I must say the camera is amazing on the ultra. Used the selfie cam in store and on the Ultra, the level of depth and sharpness of edges of my head was amazing. It felt like (from a lower angle), the ceiling in the background looked like it was super close, and far at the same time. Pretty hard to describe but amazing quality and definitely noticeable.
Als, not sure if it’s just me, but the s22 phones feel significantly lighter in weight and definitely feels great
By the way! To take advantage of the screen brightness, go into the brightness settings and turn on “extra brightness”. It actually gets much much brighter!

Came across your channel last week and I have been watching your videos and I am not only well informed but entertained. I'm rocking an S22 Ultra, I love your work and keep up the great info
The spen is so insanely underrated. If you take the time to learn what it does and all ita functionality you will never be able to live without. No phone will be worth it without an spen. I legit love my spen so much and use it daily.
As for the delay honestly even on the note 10+ there is practically zero. You will never notice it with the naked eye and or feel it. But even less is even better of course. Maybe I'll notice side by side but honestly it feels completely and perfectly instant with zero delay already and has been feeling like that for a couple of gen before note 10+. Usually they improve its range of sensitivity so you can even more accurately draw and do stuff with jt
What are some examples of the spen functionality? I have never used one before
@@stephenong9150 it can be a remote shutter button for the camera. Air actions (hold button and flick or twirl the pen different ways) can zoom in out, go home, back, etc., or you can click it to go to next or previous song. You can write notes on the screen when it's off just by pulling out the s pen. That's the tip of the iceberg.
The S Pen has come a long way since it first debuted on the Galaxy Note in 2012. That first stylus supported just 256 levels of pressure and didn't support Bluetooth. Ten years later, it does more than ever before and now has 4096 levels of pressure, Bluetooth connectivity, and a lower latency level than the Apple Pencil
It's excellent..signing documents..I use it for all my gifs...copy and pasting made super easy...

1. Quickly take a note without unlocking your phone. Just simply remove your pen and you can write whatever you want on the black screen. Putting the pen back saves it to your notes. (Also syncs with other note apps not just Samsung notes). You can also pin the note to your always on screen so you won't forget whatever you've written in the note and it's there on your screen till you remove it.
2. Remote shutter button! You can take far more accurate pictures and selfies by using the spen as a button instead of pressing the on screen button kr the volume buttons which always causes some slight movement and or shake that can affect picture quality. It's also incredible for group fotos. No need for someone to hold and take pictures for you. No need for srt a timer. Simply set your phone down somewhere. Stand in frame with your friends and press your spen button
3.. Extremely accurate way to select, copy, translate, and highlight text
4. Use smart select to select part of the screen, like a piece of text, nr, code or whatever and pin it on the screen in windows mode. You can then open up another app and use the info or whatever in the pinned screen you can also minimize it and make it a dmall bubble or save it etc. Or you can transform it into text if it's text so you don't have to manually copy the text
5. Cut out something from an image extremely accurately and super impose it over something else. E.g you could cut out your mates head and out it on Carol baskins husband in the photo where she has him on a leash for fun / as a joke and send it to them. And many more things like that
6. Ultra accurate photo editing with photoshop and other Adobe stuff. All work natively with spen and the brushes etc etc all are 100000x more accurate and precise wirh an spen. A finger is inaccurate af and also obscures most of the screen making jt hard hard see what you're doing.
7. Use as a magnifier. E.g you're watching a TH-cam video like a phone review. The reviewer shows a spec sheet but you're on your phone and the letters are so small it's very hard to read. The spen had a brilliant magnifier function. Simply open spen menu with a click on the spen button, pick magnifier and now you vsn magnify 300% by hoovering over the screen with your pen. This doesn't obstruct any part of the screen like regular magnification options
8. Using the built in color book, apps like sketchbook, artflow etc to make incredible artwork. Esp with stuff like sketchbook which js extremely detailed and not far off from a proper desktop / tablet digital art / drawing program with endless brushes, customization, tools etc
9. Taking screen shots and drawing on them. Like taking a screenshot if a bunch if products or a picture of a store shelf and encircling one of the products or similar situations.
Or sending someone a screenshot of some text / info then highlighting the most important bits of text
9. Using it as a very quick translator when other translate apps aren't available, and or you cant select a piece of text to copy it or translate it. The spen always can do both..you van select translate function and hoover over any word or pick pieces of text and quickly translate without having to open another all etc. Or manually copy the text or whatever.
10. Drawing formulas, graphs etc for school, work or to explain something to s friend etc
11. The note taking app js brilliant and van be pinned to the screen as a window (again you can minimize it to a bubble) useful when you're multi tasking and trying to write down some info etc or. The note all can also help you draw perfect symbols, shapes, graphs etc. Can transform your handwriting into text. Etc
I often plan builds in RPGs ahead and love making a note on my phone detailing stats, attributes and perks etc
Some games support it and 3sp with turn based strategy or games that require a lot of accuracy it's fantastic (although I personally never play games on my phone
12. As someone else said. Signing documents or filling in documents perfectly with zero issues. Also editing documents etc etc
And soooo much more. These were just a few off the top of my head. The list is truly endless.
I legit can't do without my spen at this point. It had become an integral part of my mobile experience. No other phone feels right.

I don't because every year it just seems like Samsung is becoming more Apple just look at the lineup this year with the exception of the note that isn't a note you have two phones that look exactly like last year's with the only difference being that they are squared off and flat just like iPhones and just like iPhone iPhone puts out three models of basically the same looking phone just smaller as you go down the tier... I don't really see why anybody would want to upgrade to this year's phone when it looks pretty much exactly like the mid-range front of last year which I don't even think looked all that great A+ version looked way better I'm guessing not a lot of people bought that version and they had all kinds of shit leftover so they just decided to re-release the phone Samsung had done this multiple times before including with a phone known as the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit which they literally and admitted so took the body from the S3 Mini and changed it into a new phone by adding new parts on the inside of it and re-release again

The Android options out there are poor and Samsung addressing the issues that even Google themselves can't sort out..I had the first few Galaxy's and they were crap, Touch Wiz was a mess, I then move to Google devices and they were crap and then through the OnePlus line up and now they crap and all the issues with them flagships are slowly being addressed by Samsung.. My Samsung tablet been flawless and I'm seriously thinking about giving up my OnePlus to go Samsung phone as well... Still waiting for my Oneplus to be up to date on software, my Samsung tablet within days of releases on the money.... Literally no point in this day an age running a device out of date and the Samsung commitment to updates is worth the purchase alone and based on track records they meeting that commitment..
Samsung phone is ugly. still have freaking circle on the screen. garbage. i like Fullscreen no circle. they should hide it like OnePlus 7 pro. these new phone have no innovative now and back of the cameras are like spider eyes

The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have the distinctive camera rattle too. I know that the manufacturers are claiming that it's normal but that is so counter intuitive. Uncontrolled movement equals friction and impact which in a mechanical device utimately results in damage and failure.
I am not comfortable with my Pixel 6 Pro rattling.

Regarding this model, two points:
1 - You're right, they "bring back" the Notes layout; Beautiful but it has its "problems" regarding the protection of the phone with Heavy Duty cases and tempered glasses, namely on my profession were I have to go to huge construction sites and is not the first time I drop the phone.
2 - How "are we" in this model, regarding TOF technology / 3D Scanning ?
