This is very true! I've been an android user since, and it's my first time switching to an iPhone. One of the things I miss is the amount of flexibility like multitasking and easy access. I'm currently using an iPhone 11 and I love that my experience is much more smoother when it comes to the processor and the amount of online usage that I use! The only downside that it's very limiting. I often struggle to connect my hotspot to my laptop, so I have to reset it a few times because my iPhone doesn't detect an IP address. At times, I don't want to bring my laptop because it's too heavy because I've been working remotely the past few days, so it's been very hard for me to multitask on my phone. AND the part where you mentioned that you spend more of your time on your Samsung gallery rather than your iPhone is so relatable!! I used to spend more time in my android's gallery because I can easily organize and thinker myself around it, but now it just feels dull to save and organize photos on your iPhone :(( but regardless, I love both phones! I just wished Apple can use it's processor to it's full potential.

I just sold my Galaxy S21+ and bought the iPhone 13 ProMax. Although I really love the battery durability of the 13 ProMax, I feel like I’m losing the flexibility here. I’m so already used to Samsung UI, all its shortcuts, and flexibility it offers (easier file management, full-featured in-app photo and video editor in the Gallery, apk installation outside Play Store, notification icons on the top screen, Secure Folder, split screen, pin to screen, GIF screenshot, long-page screenshot, etc etc..). It’s like the iPhone is making me less creative and I’m already bored with it after using it just for 2 weeks lol.

13:21 Ella only accounted for one factor in the SOT you can get from a phone, the battery capacity. She would also need to talk about how each OS is utilised to consume battery. The reason iPhones generally have lower capacity batteries is because they can make up for it with how power efficient iOS is.
I'm not an apple fanboy (I have never wanted to use Apple products and only owner a few when I was younger), but I can still appreciate what advantages iOS can bring.
I'm still impressed that Samsung still has a higher SOT, the increase in battery capacity and improvements to the OS seem to have made up for Androids inefficiency when compared to iOS.

No, Samsung Dex is very useful. You could transfer images from the phone to the computer you are one by just selecting the pictures in Samsung Dex gallery and pulling it to the Windows desktop screen. If you do not have Samsung Dex, you would have to open files and select pictures there, which I think is less convenient. Second, you could view your files or photos on your phone by using a much larger screen, which I think is awesome. Third, by using Samsung Dex, you could transfer the sound on your phone to your larger desktops' or laptops' or even tv's speaker, which could be much louder, you could even share things on your phone to your friends on a tv. You may ask how to control the screen of the Samsung Dex, there is a virtual touchpad feature on your phone, touchpad for controlling the cursor on the screen.

Another great review. Samsung has their own eco system as well and those features work on their eco system. Mixing eco systems doesn't always work. But I use windows based computers so Microsoft and samsung integration is damn near perfect. Also while yes dex on the phone may not be utilized as much per se, but dex on the samsung tablets esp my s8ultra works amazing. Not a fanboy as I have the iphone 13 pro max as well I just like to give credit where its due. Apple is great in its own ways but we are fortunate to be able to choose what we like and both are great choices. The gap between the two is becoming smaller. I also give credit to samsung for getting developers to make more creator and workforce , and social media based apps for Android users more fluid and on par with Apple.

With the last update on the 22 ultra, shutter speed is incomparable to my Iphone. My iphone is now laggy and takes worse pictures. As for battery life yup. Ios wins hands down. No way around it. But I get 1.5 days of low to no usage on the Pro. I get 1.25 days of no to low usage on the ultra. You need to research on what you need to do to extend battery life on the ultra. It is a speed demon not a restriction like my Pro. I'll sacrifice that quarter of a day worth of battery any day over the headache the Iphone gives me. And yes the iphone has been thrown against the wall because of it's slow screen response time and non customizable design. The ultra does everything and more. Obviously it can't replace a laptop or desktop but i feel the same about an iPad and I love tablets as well. Unless you're a real heavy laptop user, i think DeX is more than enough for the average user. Just purchase a wireless keyboard and mouse (not necessary but makes it much easier) and you're good to go. As soon as you open up your laptop, you can just start working off of it like you just were on your phone, no actions required. Your pictures and videos are already there if you chose so. I remember the customizability from android, but I dont miss it. Rarely used it. Rarely cared.
For me, the apple eco-system has been a godsend. I use it for work and the ability to sit down and share data between platforms AND clients in seconds has blown my mind. The best part is the setup: zero.
It's like a buy a new thing and the new thing talks to my old things behind my back and when I need something, it's all linked up, like some platform faerie snuck in and fixed everything.

If you want performance and strong capabilities, the choice of the current iphone 13 pro or pro max is ideal. It'll out power, and out perform the next 2 years of Samsung phone releases. Use geek bench or any other bench mark testing tools and see for yourself. About the curved edge screen, it gives smooth view on the screen. It is like modern car or furniture, there are no sharp flat edges. Anyway, curved edge screen is sophisticated screen manufactured technology compared to old fashioned flat screen. Many brands use flat screen. Interesting. I've just been using the windows default phone app to sync between my devices since it comes pre-installed already. Seems to do the job just fine. Mainly just use the copy-paste transfer, notifications, screencast and file drop features. Seems Android devices just pair better with windows os. Same with using Dex for MSOffice.

    • @whenhen

Microsoft is also investing a ton of money for better syncing between certain Android phones and Windows thanks to the competition from Apple. I’ve been a Phone Link/ Your Phone user since it was in public beta, and it has dramatically improved in overall features as well as stability (still tons of bugs though). I wouldn’t be surprised if it further improves over the next year or two, especially with the EU’s DMA mandating more open APIs for third parties
Also, I pretty much use Google Drive/ One for all of my documents and backups. It lets me easily access important files on my iPad, Samsung phone/ tablet, and non Samsung Windows laptop. There’s no universal copy/ paste or notification sync, but for my needs it works well

I'm two-thirds into this video and can tell Samsung has you hooked, your enthusiasm and smile explaining its features give it away. If it was easy to integrate into Apple's echo system then apple phone sales would drop drastically.
