    Does it downshift without holding the clutch?

    • @CHRGITUP
      @CHRGITUP  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The quick shifter for the R6 is meant for upshifts only. Downshifting requires the clutch to be pulled in all the time.

      @@robainkang5489 can only be used when you are above 4k rpm and probably best to use it from 2nd gear and up.

    When lifting up the gas tank, do you have to drain the fuel when disconnecting the vent hoses?? Not sure what’s going to happen when I disconnect them since i never have before😂

    • @CHRGITUP
      @CHRGITUP  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question, on older bikes with different connections you would need to, however, with newer bikes you DO NOT need to, just be aware that there will be some fuel leaking out from what is left in the hose after you disconnect it. I usually leave a rag and let it pour into the rag, or get a container for it.

    Is it possible to get a two way QS for 2018 r6?

    • @CHRGITUP
      @CHRGITUP  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope, not possible. Only possible on the R1 models from a certain year onwards.

    Nice video bro; i have the same bike with the same quickshifter, but since a time, it doesn´t work, i can´t change the gear with the quick. What do you think about it, do you know why doesn´t works it?
    If you can help me, i would apreciatte it bro.
    Regards !!

      Hey there, what's actually happening when you try to upshift? Is the QS icon displayed on your cluster?

    • @matiasaraya287
      @matiasaraya287 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CHRGITUP Yes the icon is there, but the gear can´t pass, it feel very hard, like if would have a tope.

    • @CHRGITUP
      @CHRGITUP  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It just sounds like the QS isn't working what so ever so I wouldn't force the gear shift without using the clutch. The QS is a simple system, if the QS icon is displayed on the cluster but doesn't allow you to shift without the clutch it may just be a defective sensor. Hard to diagnose over text/TH-cam but that's what is sounds like at least. I have seen defective QS before.
      I would first try and deactivated the QS and then reactivate it to see if that helps first. Nothing much to do after that then to try and get it replaced under warranty. If you have the OEM one from Yamaha, it has a one year warranty on it.
      Hope this helps 🙏!

    when lifting the gas tank did u have to remove any fuel lines ?

    • @CHRGITUP
      @CHRGITUP  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, no lines need to be removed, however, when lifting up the tank do it slowly to make sure the wires/lines are going up smooth and easy, there should be enough slack to not have to remove any lines.
