I've been looking at way to make that seat better... the only thing I can think of, which I still might do... is making a modification where the cousion part flows over the sides and somehow sits on the fender flairs, as in takes up that entire space for someone to sit, but using the original mounted seat. It's such a terrible design but I guess the "passenger" seat was an afterthought.

Honestly you may have the correct manual sometimes the manufacturer uses the same manuals for different bikes. I have the original owners manual on hand. It's weird Step 1. Place the motorcycle on the side-stand. Then the "Tip" portion it states "when checking and adjusting, there should be no weight on the motorcycle " 😆 makes no sense, however, this is really to just check the slack. Adjusting it the rear wheel should be off the ground. The part # for the original owners manual is BN6-28199-73, see if the one off the internet has a number listed somewhere. I personally go by either the service manual or what I have been taught over the years.

I haven't seen any issues doing so, at LEAST with sport bikes... I wouldn't do that with like 1200lbs harleys you know!?

Glad it helped! I did a random "trip home" video where I did like a quick update on the charging of the wireless charger. At the end I talk about how long the ride was and how much battery % was charged WHILE using maps.

Not to sure tbh, I think so since the front cowling would be entirely off. Pause the video and see if you can spot if the cluster would be removable. This might go on my video list for the future.

Mine is carbon fiber made by Hindle. You can choose different end caps on the website when you order the full system.

Most bikes DO NOT have a key for the seat, however, a lot of them do. Mine does not have a key for the front seat, only the rear, BUT the rear key seat doesn't work with the solo seat cowling. Thanks for the comment! 🤙🏍️

Hey, yeah... I believe the only way to do so is to change the entire function of the cluster from MPH to KPH, when you have KPH "Canadian" it shows it in C and not F.

It's doable! I looked into the manual a bit more. You have to do it while in "DIAGNOSTIC mode" and change the values. A dealer should be able to do it with their diag tool.

Oh yeah, it will obviously not allow you to get your chest onto the tank, however, you can still get low enough behind the windshield with the middle bag on, the large one not so much.

Why are you replacing the top nut for? I don't touch the yolk nut at all in the video.

Good question, on older bikes with different connections you would need to, however, with newer bikes you DO NOT need to, just be aware that there will be some fuel leaking out from what is left in the hose after you disconnect it. I usually leave a rag and let it pour into the rag, or get a container for it.

It's all about your needs and preferences tbh...

I mean I still like mine, but I haven't seen any around tbh.

@@CHRGITUP Yes very helpful, only thing i found now on my Benelli TRK when i do longer rides it only shuts down the wireless charger when i turn on the key for like 2 seconds then it turns off. Like yesterday i did a ride 170km and it literally never turned off. Is my battery just so strong?

According to the "product" it SHOULD turn off after a couple of seconds once the bike key is turned to all the way off, not the bike being off, the key switch to off. If it doesn't I would reach out to quad lock and be like "what's up with that?".

It would not, the bags don't get in the way at all, unless you get a super oversized one which doesn't make sense.

I'm confused about your question, why would either side connect to the adapter. Follow the steps in the video and you should be good to go.

The phone mount is from Quad Lock, I have several videos on it and the install.

The wire reached the seat easily, as for your second question I would refer that question the Quad Lock themselves. They have a pretty good response time with inquiries.

Delay, might need a resister in line to speed it up. Most reputable aftermarket kits come with the resisters with the signals.

It really isn't. Mechanics around the world so it the same exact way and are still touch to do so to this day. To each it's own I guess.

OH MAN!!! You and me both! I'm sort of annoyed with the company tbh... I ordered mine almost 4 years ago now, and I see some nobody "influencer" who knows nothing about riding probably being able to ride and have one on hand... anyway. Hopefully this decade at some point!
