Mercury Motorsport's "Nitto" R34 GT-R has earned a following due it being a true street car, with full leather interior, with over 1100 horsepower sent through an OS-88 sequential gearbox. It ran low 9s at Cootamundra Airport and we got to drive it too.

The part which I believe everyone over looked is it's a 1100 horse powered GTR with no mechanical issues and street driven engineering marvel at best.

and just get the car to the proper spec for the speed and it will be able to come to any track and if we have 4 11,000+ hp cars that go down the track at the same time and that's definitely not a 5 digit powered car so build it right but they have banned the demons but it's funny how the trail at SUV is the fastest of all the dishes because of the gears and that's for the top speed and not quicker et but it's a truck and still faster than the fastest us production car ever 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very late, but I'm pretty sure it was banned because it doesn't have a roll cage and all those other required goodies for a sub 10 second car.

Color is own choice, but you want a more expensive and comp;located set-up that wont make any more power if has same airflow potential, and you want it in a smaller capacity so it's laggier and less powerful?
+MotiveDVD it's always been my set up. And less power ? It can make 1300 hp. Check endless and jun. I've seen you In a video on a greddy twin set up pics gong easy 1000bhp. Less lag through the gears
Japanese is way behind in GT_R Development now. I look ato Oz and NZ and what we're doing. Croydon Racing Developments just went 180mph in full weight street car R32. That s 3.2L stroker RB30 with big single turbo and auto. For a 2.6 to make what a 3.2 does it needs way more revs and boost. Displacement is king in bog power applications. We've already had the twin vs single debate. If the airflow potential is the same, the single will perform better response wise and better packaging.
+MotiveDVD well theirs an R32 w high mounted twins running 7s, AND is the fastest street car / full weight Skyline. Yea running a 3..2 stroker Kit.. Just more money. A N1 block can easily go over 1000 with a 2.8 stroker Kit. And adding spray (nitrous) we'll be devastated. And I know displacement means allot.

I dont know about AUS but 4 point and 6 point seatbelts are illegal to use on street here.

Those cockpit seat belts are dumb. Stock three point is very safe and more confortable.

It's safer for driving but when you crash and first responders need to get you out, it's hard. Seatbelts are standard and easy to get you out.
Actually if your car is not equipped with rollcage, then you want to wear stock seatbelts. Reason for that is, if you go over and your roof collapses, your body can move to side in latellar. If you wear race harness however, they fix your body on one spot, so if roof collapses because of missing rollcage, it will smash your head inside your body. But yes, 1100 whp and stock seatbelts (1100whp and missing rollcage) is crazy.

Getting up to 1700Kgs, imagine what it would do if it was gutted like most cars under 10s- . But they also go ok around the twisty stuff at 1700Kgs
At least it's a good power to weight ratio. Otherwise if it was lighter, the wheels would spin like crazy.
That car is perfect, I dont know if Ive ever thought that about a build before. The OS Giken sequential gearbox is SO bad ass! Even though the color isnt what I would pick I can appreciate that its an original color, and the rest of what they did is all so tasteful, yet completely insane. You can tell no details were over looked and no corners were cut when building this car. Very very impressive. But what else do you expect from Nitto?

IN Australia we think it's funny there is a tyre called Nitto as they weren't sold here up until 2 years a go. NItto performance Engineering is one of the top engine parts companies in Australia and used in most big RB builds here.
