Hey Jason, I have a (2) Part Question here for you: Part 1: In my 'Main Gaming PC': Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite V2/with the New RX7600XT GPU, my Plan is to Upgrade the CPU from a Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 7 5700X 3D & Swap out the CPU in the other Gaming PC,(MSI B550 Gaming Gen 3) a Ryzen 5 5600, for the Ryzen 5 5600X. Part 2: Also in Gaming PC 2, I'm going to Swap Out the GPU: RX6600 Eagle for the RX6600XT from Gaming PC 1. So my question is: Will the Proposed Upgrades to Gaming PC 2 yield any significant Performance Increases??

This is unironically the most consice and informative pc building video I've seen, I started looking into building my first pc these past 2 weeks and I could have cut that time by more than half if I watched this first
Started getting to build my own first PC, bought rtx 3060ti 8gb (I know 8gb wont hold that much, but i got it cheap and available at that moment and I only play mostly PC gacha games) since last year still sealed, and about half of PC component already bought, I hope before June I can finish my very first PC. Love your channel, thanks for the video!
This guys a YT genius. Create a comprehensive list giving us the quick and dirty facts of what we were looking for and then giving us quick links to his other niche videos to help us with the specifics, turning 1 viewed video into several. The content is quick and simple enough that I actually went to his linked videos to help me with my first PC build so I dont screw it up.
On the miscellaneous parts, I think it would be nice to have a series about not so discussed topics such as PCIe adapter such as WiFi cards and capture cards, specific use of ports that are not often used such as Thunderbolt, or how to use USB 3.0 header for front IO USB Type C using an adapter, and etc.
This is SERIOUSLY one of the best guides ever to how to build PC’s. I tried learning about PC’s back in 2020 and it was difficult, but had a video like this existed it would have been so much easier. Truly a great start for beginners and I bet if they watched your playlist they would know everything they need to know and feel confident about how to build a PC that meets there needs
You’re the only channel that really focuses on throughly explaining what each component does and the different versions/series of components. You can tell someone knows what they are talking about when they’re able to simplify things for the rest of us. Thank you!!! Keep up the great work!
I literally built my first pc with his advice. Although I need to buy a better gpu. Because I have not been happy with the prices until just recently. Now I’m seeing some 4080 supers at msrp and several rx 7900xtx dropping to 900 ish with coupons or special deals.
@@thehimself4056 he simplified it so I could understand the gpu and cpu basics so I could pick up some momentum to get started. Before I started, I was so overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. Best place to start. “ there are basically only 2 companies that build gpu’s, nvidia and AMD”
Thank you Jason for your PC Build tips, i build my PC base on your contents. also added some slight aesthetics & a bit overboard in some parts. Hi Jason. Thank you so much for all the great information you provide through your videos. You helped me build a gaming PC based around a Radeon Red Devil RX 6700 XT that I was gifted by my nephew. It took about 2 months to part everything out for this build and I could not have done it without your help. It's an amazing build that I primarily use for X plane 12. Thanks again !!
A very good summary, concise and useful. While I already have learned from you and others everything you said, it was an excellent summary, and will help me stay focused while imagining builds (I am not ready yet). I appreciate the way you explain your reasoning, and give alternatives. Thank you.
Thank you so much for supporting the channel!! And for the awesome feedback, it means a lot to us. Hope you keep enjoying the content and the cats send their regards (;
Thank you for all that you have done. If it weren't for you I would have been very lost while building my PC! I just built it last week. And I have had no issues with it. TYSM!
I built my current rig about 9 years ago, still rockin the 1080 🤘, and am about to get building again soon. Been watching your last like 10 or so vids, and I want to say thank you for your concise and up to date info. Keep it up!!
@jodiepalmer2404 that is a nice high end build and a huge upgrade. I have my first all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram in the white phanteks nv7 case. I would say first know what size case you want then pick a case from each brand then dwindle the choices down overtime and look at reviews online and youtube. I would say get a b650e or an x670e motherboard. I would get a 2022 or 2023 1,000 watt gold or titanium or platinum rated power supply.
Im old. Started building computers in the 80’s then went to Apple and stopped gaming. I have the bug to build a gaming system mainly to run 4K DCS and also flight simulation. This video is so clearly made.
I love your videos. Clear and concise- You don't rush too fast through the info. You don't load up your video with niche use case information. And your spreadsheets are useful. You know exactly what kind of details I'm looking for and serve it up in a way we can all understand
Literally missed this video by like a week…. I just used all your other videos to get all of this information and piece it all together but this is like a super amazing summary of what I learned to build my own PC
Recently converted a pro-Xbox buddy of mine to PC when he realized Helldivers 2 wouldn't be coming to Xbox. We've been having a blast, both figuratively and literally, ever since. :)
@@MrAnimescrazy purely hand-me-downs: 4790k 16GB DDR3 GTX 1080 We agreed that it wouldn't be an absolute console-killer. Just enough to tap into exclusives. He aims to play mostly low-demanding games (Lethal Company, Left 4 Dead w/mods) with Helldivers probably being the only hurdle for the aged system.
@@ceuser3555 Helldivers? It's already available on PS5. It's a Sony IP and it'll remain exclusive to PlayStation, PC being an exception, as far as I can tell.
This has been a fantastically helpful video that I will save and come back to time and time again. I built my last PC about 12 years ago, so I am very rusty. This was such a helpful refresher and a guide to what is happening in the market currently. THANK YOU for putting this together. The PC I put together 12 years ago was a silent gaming build. It lasted about 12 years of high quality service. I want to build as close to silent a gaming rig as possible and the budget isn't a huge constraint (but I want to future-proof without needless overspend). I doubt I will overclock as want to keep things cool so I'm looking for the most efficient (performance for power) base speed CPU and GPU out there. I am thinking of a completely fanless PSU (with Seasonic and Coolermaster coming out with 750W and 850W (even 1100W) fanless PSUs respectively). For CPU cooling, was planning on Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black or do you think I could get away with an NH-P1 passive? I haven't seen you do a video on silent gaming, but if you have, please link it. I know I'm not alone in wanting to game in peace and without distractions. For the case, I have no interest in RGB or a window as I want a plain black case with sound dampening walls that looks more like a black tower from Space Odyssey. Currently leading in this area are either the Fractal Design Define 7 or the BeQuiet Base 802. I have not decided on AMD/Intel on this build and need to do more research on CPU/GPU/MB combos. Although I have historically leaned Intel, I am not averse to switching to AMD. Again, performance speeds/power consumption will be the deciding factor and not found a good source on that metric online yet. Any advice welcome. I live in the UK but will be coming over to the US soon so can pick up parts wherever. If anyone has any advice or if you can do a silent gaming video, please do so. I am subscribed so will watch out for it.
So glad this was helpful! One thing we don't cover here (because it hadn't come to light yet) is Intel 13th and 14th gen CPUs are having major degradation issues so right now I highly recommend AMD for your CPU choice. See our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video for some suggestions there. For silent building I recommend going for an AIO personally. And remember you can always turn RGB off so you don't need to spend extra on parts without RGB unless you want to. Happy building!!
I'm going back to a classic marketplace build. All used parts. Just picked up an EVGA 1070Ti on ebay (tested great, but has never been taken apart) for 89 bucks! I'm currently scouring for more deals to try and keep this one under 500 bucks. 2 reasons for this build. 1... I'm getting bored and I need a project. and 2... I want an emulation station that is solely for retro gaming with the ability to play some pc games as well for LAN parties and whatnot. I figure 1070Ti, Ryzen 3600, 16GB 3600c18 ddr4, and a 1 TB nvme drive, I should be able to use it for everything that it's intended for.
Where is my cool cat? Thanks for what you do I seldom subscribe to anyone on U-Tube but you are one of the few that has something worth listening to but you sir are definitely one of those worth watching and listening to!!! Thanks again, Maxwell
Thanks so much Maxwell! And if you watch closely he's actually behind the boxes on the left side early in the video, you can see him pop up to use the PC behind me as a scratching post lol. Don't forget we have the channel member livestream today at 1pm EST if you can join!

Yes the 360 aio is good. I have my first all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram in the white phanteks nv7 case. I have the phanteks fans throughout the case but my aio is the white corsair h150 360 elite or something like that I got a really good deal. I play at native 2k or native 4k on high settings with or without ray tracing depending on the game and my temps are low.
I've been looking to build my own PC but I never had the courage. I found your channel by accident and I loved it. You explained very clear all the information and made me think if I should try again =P
Hi Team PC Builder, very nice vid as always! I still like watching those although I build my PCs for 20 years (ofc there is still much to learn sometimes). I was wondering, have you considered uploading in 1440p at some point? I dont know if it has a siginficantly higher workload for you, but it would be really nice to watch your videos in 1440p imo.
I've been wanting to get an absolute beast of a PC but I've never built one before. I don't want to risk damaging or incorrectly installing anything so I've been looking at prebuilts. However, it seems all the prebuilts are massively marked up or dont have the components I'm looking for. Your videos are very helpful and appreciate all you do.
Thanks. Building a PC isn't for everyone, and we have a buying guide for the best prebuilt gaming PCs which is linked in the video description with recommendations.
Thank you so so much for these videos Jason. You helped me so much with setting up my first pc build. All the recommendations helped me a lot. I hope im able to get it all running 😅
I will say that I have a 1440p build with a 3080 10gb and I have yet to run into vram issues. Most of the titles that seem to have vram consumption issues are AAA singleplayer ports and I just tend not to play those on release and instead wait for sales, by then they've usually brought the vram consumption down. The type of games im mainly concerned with playing on release are multiplayer games like BG3, Helldivers 2, and Street Fighter 6. I have had no issues with vram in these titles. Take vram concerns with a grain of salt and look at for the types of games YOU want to play. I play several games with very high and demanding graphics and havent had vram issues.
That's good you're happy with your experience and I'm certainly not saying to replace an existing build if you are happy. But for people buying new in 2024 who are about to spend a lot of money on a GPU, I want to ensure they will be able to play all the games they want at the settings they want so its important to warn people about the VRAM issue.
@@PCBuilderChannel that's totally fair, I'd just totally put a used 3080 as a great option, got mine for 440 right after the mining crash and they've only gone down since.

heeee heee heee That's right, pc parts are at all time lows. I think you're telling me I should raise the prices of GPU's then. If they're this low, I must be doing something wrong. I'll move them into the next bracket. Next gen 5060 will start at $800, 70 series will be around $1000 80 series will be around $1500 90 Series will be around $3000 Because in the end, YOU GUYS BUY IT ANYWAY LOLOLOLOLOL! I’ve been an Xbox player for 15 years but I’m not sure staying on Xbox is a good idea… I’m really considering switching to PC… should i keep playing on Xbox SX and see what the next gen is like then make a decision or just switch now?
Switch. Don’t wanna be that guy but Pc components are always going to be better than consoles. Also you can do so much more on a pc than Xbox. I was on a Xbox Series X until I built a 3080 and i5 13600k and i love it so much im never going back. It all depends on your budget.
I'm last to the race and stumbled onto your channel. Great, simple and to the point content. I'm binge watching your previous videos so I can build my own PC. 👍
@PC Builder, if i ugrade from 12th to 13th gen intel cpu, is it worth it to upgrade my motherboard? I have a Rog strix z690 e. Would i have more pcie lanes if i upgrade the motherboard?
You'd get the same number of lanes but 8 would upgrade to 4.0 from 3.0 and some boards can provide more USB connectivity if you need that. I personally wouldn't upgrade for it unless there was a feature on the new board I need (usb4/thunderbolt or something) but other than, not worth it
I got an unpleasant reminder of the RAM "Sweet Spot" the other day. I got 32GB of 6000Mhz for my 7800X3D, only to discover they weren't on the QVL for my Asrock Motherboard. Once I clocked them down to 5600, my system stopped having stability issues.
I love ur chanel and i love how u put decent effort in description and how u index video. Tnx for ur effor sir even tho i build pc allrdy i watch ur videos with pleasure.! ❤
awesome video! I'm building my second pc after 7 years. its time to updrade and im thinking 1500 budget for 1440p gaming. will look at the rest of guides thanks.
Worth mentioning about the integrated graphics processors on the CPU is that they can be a handy backup if your actual GPU fails and you need to access your PC for some critical information, a low intensity task, or to RMA or troubleshoot the GPU.
Please note there is no standard sizing for "eatx" it only means larger than atx. There are large than atx size standards though, those are: ssi eeb and ssi ceb.
@@MrAnimescrazy right now he has laptop with i5 10300 and rtx3060 And pc with i5 6500 + gtx1060 So depending on his preferred res in games (depends on where he wants to place monitor also) i think new build will be featuring: CPU r5-7600/r7-7700 and GPU 4070tisuper/4080 or 7900xt/xtx as corr components. You may say, well, why not r7-7800x3d as cpu? My reasoning is, in my opinion it's overkill for 4k gaming if my friend will go for it, better to save 100-200 euro on that to get better GPU, even if he decides to go for 1440p, r5 7600 can boast more than 100 FPS in virtually any single player game, and much more in MP games. And on those resolutions GPU plays much bigger role. Also i beleve rysen 9000 series will come out soon, so i urge him just to wait to upgrade CPU down the line. In like year and a half. Ok. Now GPU'S. (Next comment)
@@MrAnimescrazy He is working in blender on both his laptop and PC, and both green and red GPU'S will be better than those he has now. And here comes hard part for me. 4080/super is 1100euro in Lithuania, where we live. So it is barely fitting in that build veery barely. Maybe we can stall build for a month (buy everything exept GPU for now). To fit 4080s but im sceptica on that part. 7900xtx model i choose (Power colour Hellhound) costs 1030 euros here as i remember, it squeeses in budget. And boasts gigantic 24gigs of VRAM and is most powerful in terms of raw performance, but is abysmal at high RT, but still holds its own on mid RT which is plausable, and obviously, he can turn down settings a notch. (All he people around me grew up without Powerful PC's so it's on our blood to mix and match graphics settings). I don't like AMD's frame gen, to be Frank. (Tested both Nvidias, and AMDs) 7900xt, 20 gig VRAM - superb Bit weaker than xtx and 4080. Yeah, okay choice i think. 4070tisuper. Well, NVIDIA does better in blender, it has 16gigs of VRAM, which is minimum i would go for his build. Generlly about upscalers. I never had myself screen with bigger than 1080p res. But i heard both fsr 2.1 and dlss are good at 4k so quality of those 2 does not bother as much for now, because even at 4k all those GPUs are good without much upscale (especially in games my friend would play now) Yeah, nobody asked, but oh well... I told alot bout this planned build
@vladterekhov503 ok thanks for the info. I would say measure the case so then you can know which size 4080 or 4080 super or 7900xtx can fit in the case. Look at comparisons between the 4080 or 4080 super and the 7900xtx when it comes to blender performance etc. Also this pc will be huge upgrade and yeah i would get a lower end cpu for now then upgrade to the 9000 series later.
@vladterekhov503 I went with my first all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs gigs of ddr5 in the white phanteks nv7 case. I bought the parts last year and I only use my pc for gaming. I wanted the best and I don't have to worry about playing most games at native 2k or native 4k with or without raytracing depending on the game. I will be looking at the 5090 and the next x3d chips to see the performance gains.
yeah its a really good gpu its my luck the bad thijng is that is so big that i cant unscrew and take out the motherboard of the case or take it out wich worried me a bit cuz i just bough it last week and a soon as i out it in it got stuck@@Just_MemesYT
I finally ordered the parts for my first PC build after a little over a year of saving. The main components are the 7800x3d and an RTX 4070 Super. The build should've cost around $1,700 but shipping costs and REALLY HIGH sales tax where I live bumped the price up to a little over $2K.

Hi Jason :D ! i've been seen your videos for some time now, big thumps up really :) However I hope you can guide me a little on an upgrade maybe. Today i have a Asus b660m Tuf + I9-12900k, 32 gigs ram and a RTX 3080 but I am thinking of maybe upgrading to a 4070TI or 4080 Super, but would it be overkill compared to my CPU ? Also do you have a though of Asus armory crate software ? used it yesterday to install drivers, and apparantly my performance in games like escape from tarkov dropped around 30-40 % :(

Intel Core i7-12700KF RX 6900 XT SAPPHIRE 32 GB CORSAIR 1 TB ADATA SSD MSI Pro Z790-P WIFI Which one would you recommend and what are the key differences? PS: It says on the website that you can also choose to modify the parts. So, if there’s a specific part you think could/should be replaced, that would be possible.
Hop over to our Best Prebuilt Gaming PC 2024 video, looks like you are doing a custom build and there are a lot of things to look out for (air flow, Ram sticks etc). And I think you'll find the prebuilts we recommend are at a much better price. Either way it should help you decide what you need. But a huge difference between the two is the first is on the most current CPU platform and the second is on a dead platform (no more upgrades coming out for it).
@@PCBuilderChannel Thanks a lot for the fast answer! Both of these are actually pre-builds. But I’ll definitely also take a look at your mentioned video.

started setting some money aside for a 4090 to finish my turbo ultra mega awesome build, but that won't be for awhile. i see that MSI card in the background tho, going for one of those to match my b650 tomahawk haha
for how many years will a 12 gb gpu last on 1440p with high settings on aaa new games? i would like an nvidia for the streaming and better upscaling but the low vram and higher cost make it a very hard choice. will 12 bg be enough for long, does something like a 7900gre work for twitch streaming or does one have to drop 800+ for a 4070 ti super if 12 bg isn't enough?
Look at comparisons between the current 12 gig vram cards. I would go with nvidia since you want to stream and use dlss. You should be good for a few years to several years with 12 gigs of vram at high settings but if you can get a gpu with 16 gigs of vram that will be better. I have an all white high end build with gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram in the white phanteks nv7 case.
@@kelley09162 the problem is twitch doesn't xD i heard they got something in the works for av1 but who knows when or if they will really go through with it
10:37 What audio though? You can either get a top end motherboard with surround out, or you can get stereo only and screw you. Then you can want DTS:X or Dolby Atmos and all that stuff, but those standards demand transport over HMDI, good for any cheap receiver. Then you can get MPEG-H 3D audio, that can transport over anything and allows usb (perfect) but it is not to be found on pc or any media on pc, broadcast only, and only the highest end receiver support it when it is supposed to be the more accessible standard. Could be solved by Windows but I very much like my surround sound with front high and Windows soundbad is very limited and to 1 plane only at that. If you want more than stereo, it is a mess.
That GPU is too weak for that CPU and it doesn't have enough VRAM for me to recommend in 2024. Check out our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video for way more on this
Those SSD prices sure did go up quite a bit more, recently. Just a few days ago, I was just looking at a 4TB SSD for about $230, and today, that same SSD is now $280. Yowza :(
My family, 100% run iPhones, Macs, iPads, apple watches and apple TV. My wifes company gives her a cheap livono laptop that is locked down for her work use only and my son (college 21 yrs) bought a used gaming system to play games. The question I have and so many others is this…. Apples chips are really becoming very powerful. Do you ever see a time where the most dominant PC games will make their way over to the Mac? My guess is not and it’s not that big of a deal to have two operating systems in the home.
I think gaming on Mac will become more popular, but still not enough to overtake Windows. I doubt most PC gamers will move to Mac seeing as how heavily restricted Apple makes the hardware.

This is unironically the most consice and informative pc building video I've seen, I started looking into building my first pc these past 2 weeks and I could have cut that time by more than half if I watched this first
Thank you for the great feedback! It means a lot and best wishes on the new build!
Hows the PC now that its July?
I know already everything about this, but i still love to watch how you explain it.
Thank you for watching! :)
So glad it was helpful! There is method to our madness (;
@@MrAnimescrazy purely hand-me-downs:

We agreed that it wouldn't be an absolute console-killer. Just enough to tap into exclusives.

Will it be available on PS5 and Nintendo Switch?
@@ceuser3555 Helldivers? It's already available on PS5. It's a Sony IP and it'll remain exclusive to PlayStation, PC being an exception, as far as I can tell.
@@tanuki3756 okay thanks. Haven’t been reading updates recently as I have been focusing on PC stuff.
Sounds like a good build for what you need!

@@PCBuilderChannel I managed to build it in 6 hours or so. It wasn't easy but I'm glad I was able to install windows 👍

@PC Builder, if i ugrade from 12th to 13th gen intel cpu, is it worth it to upgrade my motherboard? I have a Rog strix z690 e. Would i have more pcie lanes if i upgrade the motherboard?
No it's not worth it in my opinion.

Usefull video, as i prepare to make my friend 2k euro build
What are his specs?
@@MrAnimescrazy right now he has laptop with i5 10300 and rtx3060
And pc with i5 6500 + gtx1060
So depending on his preferred res in games (depends on where he wants to place monitor also)
i think new build will be featuring: CPU r5-7600/r7-7700 and GPU 4070tisuper/4080 or 7900xt/xtx as corr components.
(Tested both Nvidias, and AMDs)
7900xt, 20 gig VRAM - superb
Bit weaker than xtx and 4080. Yeah, okay choice i think.
4070tisuper. Well, NVIDIA does better in blender, it has 16gigs of VRAM, which is minimum i would go for his build.
Generlly about upscalers. I never had myself screen with bigger than 1080p res. But i heard both fsr 2.1 and dlss are good at 4k so quality of those 2 does not bother as much for now, because even at 4k all those GPUs are good without much upscale (especially in games my friend would play now)
Yeah, nobody asked, but oh well...
Gonna replace my 5600xt build at some point this year. Hopefully the pricing in the next few months don't spike back up.

Sometimes it does and sometimes you need go buy it separately. See our how to build a pc video for more and for our thermal paste recommendations
Not sure if you’ve covered it, but a video on how to connect rgb products from different brands would be amazing
hello! I am a newb when its coming to building a pc. It worked pretty good, but I do have glitches with the GPU. Hopefully I can get a spot on your show for an upgraded build.
Check out our "after you build setup guide" video to double check you've got all your settings where you want them
Headphone recommendations and tips on choosing correctly and pitfalls would be nice 😊
Going to build my first PC, I have 1500$ budget, I need builds guys!! Help me ! Love this channel!!
What are you using the PC for?
Is your pc for gaming or gaming and productivity? What gpu do you want nvidia or amd or intel? What about the cpu amd or intel? Is the build going to be all black or all white or black and white? What size case? Etc.
Check out the video we just launched on the channel today! Its our March Best Builds video and has a great $1500 sample build for you
@@MrAnimescrazy white with black component, AMD all the way , and just gaming , I travel for work so I want a case that's not crazy big but not so small it has heat problems. I wanted the (CPU) 7800x3d but wasn't sure if pairing it with a (GPU) 7800xt 16 gig was a bad idea and like I should put more money into the GPU and less on CPU, if I can go less then 1500$ and still love it. AM5 as well. Thanks all!!
@kikflip9872 ok I will get back to you with a parts list.
Can you offer any advice on a GPU and VRAM amount for photo editing? Many of the current photo editing applications can take advantage of the GPU to speed things up, but almost all the advice I find is oriented to gaming needs.
See if you can find youtube videos on that specific build but I would go with the highest end you can go within your budget just in case.
Are you making a PC for Photo Editing?
If so I can try and make a build for you if I know your budget.
@@kelley09162Thanks for the offer, but I've been building my own systems since the 386/40. I just need to educate myself every few years on what has changed since the last PC I assembled.
Tech Notice is a good source on creator components... Kelley also knows their stuff.
Yes, I generally recommend going up one GPU level per your budget for production builds. See our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video for more on this
Been wanting to build a 7700X for a year but keep stopping myself because for the life of me I can't figure out which b650 won't have any issues. They all seem to have something wrong with them in every review
Asrock B650s have good bioses for that. Like the B650E Riptide wifi. Or the Aorus Elite AX V2.
Check our our Best Ryzen Motherboard 2023 video! But I'd consider that the 7600 will give you the same performance for less. See today's video on the channel for a fantastic 7600 sample build.
Another excellent video! Well done, Jay! 💯
Thanks Thomas!! Don't forget we have our channel member live stream today at 1pm EST if you can join us (:
The Artic Freezer 34 Pro Duo will work fine cooling the Ryzen 7 7800 X3D? Love the content 😉👌 keep going
hmm interesting, had my pc around 4 years so think I'm due some upgrades 😂 good video. appreciate it!
Glad we can help!
Very helpful as always. Thank you for your time and efforts and for sharing this knowledge with us all.
My pleasure Simon! Thanks for watching (:
Don't forget the thermal paste brah. I'd say just to be safe you should have at least 5 gallons.
Truth! (;
I love watching videos like this because I find them very entertaining. I always choose a CPU ( usually Intel) with GPU ability simply because it makes troubleshooting much easier! I find a lack of video output poor unless I keep a stock of spare video cards! 😁😁😁
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for watching :)
Wonderfull video like always.
I have a question , i’m going to upgrade my pc (I got a 1080 z170pro gaming and i7-6700k)but currently I have 2tb hard disk 1 ssd 480 gb where i installed the windows and a nmv2 980 pro that I used for almost all the game.
In the new pc is better to use the 980 pro for windows and use the other 2 storage for gaming or is better to use the 480gb ssd for windows and the 980 pro for games?
Check out our Best SSD for Gaming 2023 video, these days you don't need to partition your storage like we used to.
Best informative videos! Especially for a newb like me! We want more!
Glad you found it informative! Hope you keep enjoying all the content! :)
Hi Jason :D ! i've been seen your videos for some time now, big thumps up really :)
However I hope you can guide me a little on an upgrade maybe.
Today i have a Asus b660m Tuf + I9-12900k, 32 gigs ram and a RTX 3080 but I am thinking of maybe upgrading to a 4070TI or 4080 Super, but would it be overkill compared to my CPU ?
Also do you have a though of Asus armory crate software ? used it yesterday to install drivers, and apparantly my performance in games like escape from tarkov dropped around 30-40 % :(
Hey i wanna ask if i7 14700k with 4060 ti a good fit or will there be some bottleneck
The 4070/4070 Super would be a better GPU with the 14700K.
I don't recommend that GPU personally, and not with that CPU. Check out the second to last video on the channel, its our GPU Market Update video, for some way better GPU recommendations
I don’t know much about PCs but am looking to buy one. Here are the insides of two I’ve been looking at:
1.
AMD Ryzen 7 7700
RTX 4070 ASUS
32 GB CORSAIR
1 TB ADATA SSD
MSI PRO B650-5 WIFI
2.
Intel Core i7-12700KF
RX 6900 XT SAPPHIRE
32 GB CORSAIR
1 TB ADATA SSD
MSI Pro Z790-P WIFI
Which one would you recommend and what are the key differences?
I have a personal deadline of June for a personally built pc, and I'm not entirely sure what to look for top performance parts. There's a site that allows you to build a pc but I'm not really sure if what I put was okay, garbage, or good.
You might want to check out our Best Prebuilt Gaming PC 2024 video! You can get much better deals going that route than having a service build for you
started setting some money aside for a 4090 to finish my turbo ultra mega awesome build, but that won't be for awhile. i see that MSI card in the background tho, going for one of those to match my b650 tomahawk haha
for how many years will a 12 gb gpu last on 1440p with high settings on aaa new games? i would like an nvidia for the streaming and better upscaling but the low vram and higher cost make it a very hard choice. will 12 bg be enough for long, does something like a 7900gre work for twitch streaming or does one have to drop 800+ for a 4070 ti super if 12 bg isn't enough?
So AMD 7000 series GPUs come with AV1 Encoding so they're good for streaming yes the 7900GRE would be a good choice for you.
The 4070 Super would also work, it's just more expensive vs the 7900GRE so it's hard to justify for Gaming.
@@kelley09162 the problem is twitch doesn't xD i heard they got something in the works for av1 but who knows when or if they will really go through with it
@@MrAnimescrazy modern games seen to already be pushing 12 bg though :(
10:37 What audio though?
Is pairing the 7800 x3d with the 3060ti a good combination?
Not. That's an imbalance. You need to go up in GPU and down in CPU to make it balanced.
Yowza :(
I know!! Its crazy
good morning Jason and team!
Good morning!
Not in a million years.
I think gaming on Mac will become more popular, but still not enough to overtake Windows. I doubt most PC gamers will move to Mac seeing as how heavily restricted Apple makes the hardware.
