>says he got banned from entering NK >all US citisens are banned, effectively making title clickbait Please don't tell me you're becoming like Nas Daily...
US citizens are not banned from entering North Korea. Many Americans have gone. You just can't fly from the US, nor from South Korea, so you enter from China... You just take the train right on in, or fly. You just have to do their government-monitored tour, but that's not a rule that's unique to Americans. There is no ban on Americans entering DPRK. Drew did go, and he explained why he would not go back... Definitely not the same situation other Americans are in. Many would (and have) gone to the DPRK and been absolutely fine, but they don't have big TH-cam channels where they have criticized the regime. That's kind of what this video was about, the unique situation he is in...
I’ve been fascinated by the idea of going to North Korea, but I haven’t had the best luck with authority figures and I know they’re everywhere out there. I’m trying to stay out of trouble. And I agree with your points. We cannot support a country like this in any way, other than to show the world what it is truly like.
Jacob Laukaitis has a great video about why nobody should visit North Korea. Tourism to North Korea is part of how the country gets foreign currency. No matter what, when somebody visits North Korea, they're helping its government.
i’d love to see what north korea truly looks like, but just like you i’m american and i never will be able to. thank you for shedding some more light on what tourists see vs. what it actually is, and you’re very lucky you got to go while you did. keep being safe drew, can’t wait to see more content from you.💜
I went to South Korea and did the DMZ Tour a few months ago. It was bizarre to be inside the tunnels that the North tried to dig into the South. It was interesting to learn that the South doesn't want reunification as much anymore compared to before because it would really hurt the economy. I never thought of it that way before.
@@dchannel1899yes you do but you only see what the government let's you see. The thing you see from idk what u call them..telescope? Whatever that is, from that you see some buildings that are empty and the largest flag in the world pinned up there with an empty grass land. It's so eerie!
I was inside the tunnel North Korea dug into South Korea a few months ago. Pretty wild experience. Learned a lot as well. See you around PH if you're back living there in the future, cheers 🍻
I am a french Canadian , local expert about North Korea, and I have already spent over à month in my life in DPRK in 4 different trips, hoping to go back soon. I disagree with a some of what you say in this videp. Are you back to Montréal soon? Let's have a talk! And you should show the difference between summer and winter in Montréal !
Part of me would love to go to North Korea to experience what it is like, but especially in the last few years I have come to the realization that I will never go there. It is just too scary. I have watched many TH-cam videos about the country, especially following Yeonmi Park and the Asian Boss channels. I am Canadian, but I am worried that I could be mistaken as an American spy, especially since I lived in Arizona for two years while working on my master’s degree. I think the closest I may ever get is by doing to South Korea and visiting the DMZ from the South Korean side. My heart goes out to the poor of North Korea, in particular, and anyone who longs to escape. I cannot imagine the terror that many people must experience on a daily basis.
Yeonmi Park has changed her story so many times. You should see the stories of truthful North Korean Defectors and not the one propped up by right wing American media. Which Yeonmi are you remembering? The one who grew up comfortably but with less diverse food and some bad conditions, or the Yeonmi that grew up eating rats off the street? She has claimed both.
You do not have to support North Korea, but you should acknowledge that 1. The US does much much more to disrupt world peace than North Korea ever could and 2. North Korea has very understandable reasons to dislike the United States as does the majority of the world.
Yeonmi Park has been disproven time and time again to be a propagandist and liar time and time again. It’s wild how you can travel far and wide and have such extremely shallow Geopolitical knowledge once so ever.
for those who said i never researched, it just depends on whether it is USA or N.Korean media propaganda you are consuming. i read neither. for someone who cant get stories right, but conveniently launched a couple of books for profits? haha. you are entitled to your opinions.
My.comment drew is this one, if you keep pushing your luck, one day life will get back at you, is good to hear that you put conscience into the dangers of the world. So keep a mature mind, dont go testing luck by travelling to dangerous places, because it doesnt happend it doesnt happend until it happends. So keep it up

Hell no I’m not going to north Korea but I feel so bad for the people who live there
I’ve been fascinated by the idea of going to North Korea, but I haven’t had the best luck with authority figures and I know they’re everywhere out there. I’m trying to stay out of trouble. And I agree with your points. We cannot support a country like this in any way, other than to show the world what it is truly like.
Finally you HIT 4 mil. Many-many congratulations Drew!
THANKSSSS
My favorite part about your videos is that you have the nuts to be honest and open about the good and bad about all aspects.
You are a brave man!!! Keep up the good work!
Jacob Laukaitis has a great video about why nobody should visit North Korea. Tourism to North Korea is part of how the country gets foreign currency. No matter what, when somebody visits North Korea, they're helping its government.
They also get currency by cybercrime and forging the currencies of healthy countries.
Please stay safe. Glad to have you back, safe and sound.
We love your videos.
Peace ✌️
i’d love to see what north korea truly looks like, but just like you i’m american and i never will be able to. thank you for shedding some more light on what tourists see vs. what it actually is, and you’re very lucky you got to go while you did. keep being safe drew, can’t wait to see more content from you.💜
Tbh if their government changed and allowed them freedom like America, uk, Australia nz, they’d be so much different and happier.
Thanks Drew...easy to binge-watch your content..I will be doing that now and again.
NEVER go back to North Korea ⚠️ us as your fans we don’t want anything bad to happen to you if you dare went back there
I went to South Korea and did the DMZ Tour a few months ago. It was bizarre to be inside the tunnels that the North tried to dig into the South. It was interesting to learn that the South doesn't want reunification as much anymore compared to before because it would really hurt the economy. I never thought of it that way before.
Yep! Did that twice . It’s super interesting !
Don’t you get a view of North Korea from there
@@dchannel1899yes you do but you only see what the government let's you see. The thing you see from idk what u call them..telescope? Whatever that is, from that you see some buildings that are empty and the largest flag in the world pinned up there with an empty grass land. It's so eerie!
Don't think the US would want that because they are surely making much money from having a base in SK
I never heard of that 😮
he is one of the best TH-cambers am I right. I was second to comment.

Thank you for your wonderful videos peace love and blessings! You are an inspiration ❤one day things will change evil does not last long .
Hello Clarissa, how're you doing today???
Bro you have the best dad lore
Yeonmi Park is a liar, she claims the DPR Korea doesn't even know math
She also claimed north korea doesn't have icecream
I was inside the tunnel North Korea dug into South Korea a few months ago.
Pretty wild experience. Learned a lot as well. See you around PH if you're back living there in the future, cheers 🍻
wow!!
interviewing the phony yeonmi lmaoooo
It's a trap!
That’s crazy dawg
Cheers to Arizona ! You could easily go with Canada passport , no harm
@@G33K01345 sounds like you're just a leftard
I would assume most Americans are banned from going to North Korea 🤷♂️
No shit Sherlock besides who wants to visit that bad place
This man has the best luck.
I like your videos because they are based on true fact!! peoples need the truth about the world in order to thrive... greeting you from south sudan
Thanks, great video!
It’s wild how you can travel far and wide and have such extremely shallow Geopolitical knowledge once so ever.
just like how you think you’re so smart but don’t know of the term what’s so ever
Well done Dr. Drew, you nailed it
Visiting that country is playing Russian roulette with your life, I'm glad you made it out of there alive and well
ok so you're not actually banned you're just assuming you are?
yes, he is just begging views
why feature that defector in your video? isnt her stories known to be fake?
No maybe if you researched you would know
Do your research before assuming
for those who said i never researched, it just depends on whether it is USA or N.Korean media propaganda you are consuming. i read neither. for someone who cant get stories right, but conveniently launched a couple of books for profits? haha. you are entitled to your opinions.
so you're not banned, just won't be going back again.
He literally said he was banned by North Korea in the video
I totally agree with you don't go back there . I love your videos its contents are very different ,interesting, and educative. stay blessed.
My.comment drew is this one, if you keep pushing your luck, one day life will get back at you, is good to hear that you put conscience into the dangers of the world. So keep a mature mind, dont go testing luck by travelling to dangerous places, because it doesnt happend it doesnt happend until it happends. So keep it up
Park Yeonmi is a fraudster tho
There is a possibility of being an espionage then.
I’ll just visit North Korea via TH-cam, thank you very much.
goood idea!
Propaganda video with zero proofs
Hey drew Im 17 and following your footsteps, at 30 countries already, planning to go to North Korea someday ❤
Thanks for sharing and always sending you good vibes to keep you safe!
3:34 says the American
you didnt get banned by North Korea, but US. US doesnt allow its citizens to travel to North Korea. period
Not true.
@@PokedexRevivalyea

Yes same! I hope Kim & Trump can re-meet again!!
We did it!

I am a huge fan of yours. Your videos are very helpful as they raise awareness on whats happening on the other side of he world
Well said man.
Your a legend I met ya you in 2014 in Montreal, Canada.
