I bought a mower just like this at the beginning of summer for $50. It runs like a champ! I also got a free stihl FS83 trimmer from the guy too. Both ran just fine.
It only takes about 3 minutes to file each side of the blade. You can get a file at any hardware store, here's one that would work perfectly: www.amazon.com/WORKPRO-W051002-in-Flat-File/dp/B077Q1PVSS/ref=sr_1_5?crid=34YV4TB4TBRWV&keywords=file&qid=1669489400&sprefix=file%2Caps%2C82&sr=8-5&th=1

Yes, a great mower. Mine starts on the first pull every time.
How long does it take for you to sharpen the blade...both sides? Where did you get that file you are using? Thanks.

Dropping the dipstick and funnel onto the dirt is not how I was taught to change oil. Everything is supposed to be kept clean.
Thanks for the advice. Yes, clean is better than dirty!
I have same lawnmowers
I find it hard to believe this is Honda engine
1 reason and one reason only this lawnmower is too loud for Honda engine 👍🏻
It's definitely a Honda engine.
Socket size?
I used a 9/16" socket to remove the blade.
