Three things: 1) Nitrous gets to the engine as a liquid, where it is then evaporated into the mixture. Being a liquid means it's delivered to the manifold a thousand times more densely than air, which is always fed in as a gas. 2) Nitrous is 33% oxygen. Air is only 20% 3) And, of course, it cools off the air like you said. I listed them in order of importance.
How did you fail to mention that the oxygen splits from the nitrogen in the combustion chamber providing more oxygen to burn? That's kinda the whole point...
The decomposition of nitrous into nitrogen and oxygen is an exothermic reaction, thus there is a pressure increase as the oxygen is cracked free from the nitrogen.
It's not the use of nitrous that's bad it's the miss use of it. Just like with anything else when you start modifying an engine if you do it improperly you're in for a bad day
Your completely wrong .,.The power comes from splitting the molecule of nitrogen and oxygen. Heat from the combustion chamber causes the molecule to separate The fuel is added to slow the reaction down. We use fuel to control it because we are already burning fuel.
Guys he know he is wrong so he wanted to ask but asking wasnt enough so he tries to explain something about nitrous complety wrong or something like that so people could just correct him and he gets the asnwer he wants In other words people dont give a damn if you ask something you dont know, they just want to be right if you say something wrong about what they know
Colder air is hard to burn quickly. .🙄🙄 How can you just say that it adds more power? . Coldee air is definitely denser but it takes way more time to get hot and hot snd burn which is not possible at high RPM.

At least he got the engine blowing right
no, the no2 is supplying the gas with more oxygen making it burn more complete

Cold part yes.
But nitrous actually has more oxygen than air at the same temperature too...
It works as an extra oxodizer in the motor.
Its that simple. More air, more fuel, more power.

It's not providing more oxygen to burn it's the energy released atomically that is the extra power .......not from the pressure of the fuel burn
@@alloutspeedsmashedenergy released atomically? What does that even mean

O X E G E N 💀💀💀
That's also the reason why a intercooler upgrade is really good! Cooler air = more power
More O2 means bigger Bangs inside the engine and a even B I G G E R bang as cylinder 4 launches into the Mesosphere
People use this gas as a recreational drug.

I want nitrous in forza
So i can go kaboom. Okay i like

Why not liquid oxygen?
So we use n O2 but why don't we use c o2 it's colder and cheaper
Airrrrr 👌😔 on steroids 💪😎

Its not air on steroids, nitrous oxide is steroids for your air
How does NO2 impact the engine in long run?
Poorly. It is only run in short, second long bursts; inside of very strong, over-built engines.
per given volume
God level loop

You onlt need the air to be cold as it flows past the valves. Once it's inside the chamber and compression happens, it'll be hot.
Confidently incorrect

Wtf is oxegen?
Yyteft😂
"and hopefully not and exploded engine"
Umm.......alright,im gonna cancel the nos tank order 🗿💧
Edit:btw, what do nitrous become when it gets burn?
Nitrogen gas and oxygen. The oxygen should be burned in the combustion process though.
@@aktionp20 and the nitrogen gas is nitrogen dioxide?
@@Gamerxyz_755 the gas in the "nos" tank is nitrogen oxide (2 nitrogen atoms one oxygen).
Oxegen 🤡
Lol
That’s not how it works
