@@kryptonianguest1903 It can really depend on the game, but the higher the mechanical skill, the more likely coaches could have more game knowledge and worse skill than someone they're coaching. Ex: Animation cancel combo on League of Legends Riven, Fighting games with tight frame executions, etc. Still, one could also argue that worse technical inputs and more game knowledge could still equivalate as a "better" player in many cases. In MWO's case I'd say there's few enough technical inputs unless you have aim problems or play exclusively light mechs that this usually isn't a problem to consider, though.
I remember playing the Battletech Board Game, and my friend used this.... The ultra autocannons.... You had to roll to hit, roll to see how many hit, roll for each damage location.... each turn just for that mech took like 10 minutes... it was exhausting
A build i had a blast with recently is putting 2 light AC2s on a locust 3v, set it to chain fire and get and spam dakka, i recommend getting a third party turbo application to have it auto click at half the speed of the cooldown that way you can hold down the trigger and get an alternating stream of fire without inducing carpel tunnel. (I managed to squeeze in 3 tons of ammo with a 145 engine, yes it has minimal armor)
@@TTBprime I have one of those but what I really wanted was something with a little more flexibility, say, like the Deimos. You can put 6 UAC2s in a Rifleman, but you will have little space for anything else.
Dakka bane. It's a hit or miss mech, but overall, it's doing better than I expected. But, it's early days, too! I think I shouldn't have bought the hero.
@@kryptonianguest1903 Jupiter as well, the pinion is also chonk for a medium. But tbh their roster is actually kinda balanced, in a sort of "BAKAAAH PARTIAL WINGS BABY" sense
I feel like the design would visually work just as well with the side torsoes about half their width, and would work way better from a gameplay perspective. Good to know the UAC bane can work well, as a deadside build at least, though it makes me a bit sad, but I shall consider it then. Nonetheless, I am sceptical about buying it. I am a big bane fan, HUUUGE bane fan even, but so far this one unfortunately looks... a bit like a pass to me :/ Might be better to wait for MC release and buy JUST the Bane 1 and Bane 3.
Honestly it's less an issue with PGI, and just the mech itself. That's pretty much the lore accurate profile the Kraken has. Most mech designs aren't really FPS friendly 😅
i disagree with the "cant learn from worst players" what's important is when you take new information is you cross refence it and apply logic. you always need to keep in mind that the person giving new info might not know anything as i definitely had guys who was much high ranked than i am in a game straight up not understand how a system worked and i know a guy who's really into math and can come up with insane DPS builds but he is just slow when it comes to reaction speed so he has the lowest ranks of us. all im saying is its not as black and white as "oh my rank is higher so I'm better in every way" kinda thing.
If boxers listened to you, there'd be no boxers. Also, being better than someone on the average doesn't mean you are better than them at everything else, nor that they are incapable of identifying things that you are doing wrong -- which can apply to people who arent even competitors in general.

The right answer is obviously "Yes"
"NINETY ONE?!"

Coaches wouldn't exist if getting advice from "worse players" who have good game knowledge wasn't helpful
Aren't most coaches former good players? Or at least teaching from lesson plans set down by former good players?

Sounds like something an app or spreadsheet could do for you today in a second :)

0.5 ton of armor to be more precise. Btw, why chainfire? does light ac2 shake the cockpit?
Ohh I've been waiting for this!
There’s WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW in the first match! Nice.
All aboard the Bane Train!
you know, this mech is "all right"
Ba dum, tschüss.
Lol
I certainly wanted a clan mech that could fit at least 6 UACs on the arms... but a full complement of 9... way more than I bargained for.
6UAC2? Rifleman IIC

The Dakka Bane will break the Batman🤣🤣🤣.

dakka bane!
3:45 Ah yes, the indigenous warrior tribe of Timbuktu, they want to stay away from modern civilisation as far as possible and we should respect that.
nice cool :)
ps - timeline need fix
thanks, fixed
it's Banes' month until the next month nerf.
"I was here." Lol.
Also the Bane is build like the MechDB Mechlab looks like hahaha
So does it feel glass cannon'y? 🤔
lol also made a rightside build, but with 2 uac10 and 3 uac 5 lol rightside peaking OP
Dakka Bane
Ahh clan Jade Falcon engineering
The Katana Birbs do like their fat mechs. For another example, take a look at the Turkina.

I did a dual uac10 and triple uac5 build that’s not bad also
But you could already do that build on a Dire Wolf?

It's not the damage but the noise and shaking that pisses people off 🤣
DAKKA BANE. Oh no Alpine peaks first game🤮
Why does PGI love wide mechs so much? This looks like a longbow with the barrels stripped off the outside of the arms. Does it play any better?

if I pull that cockpit off, will you die?
It would be extremely uncomfortable
