This is so brave of you, which reflects your confidence in FSD (Beta). I would have waited at the clinic until I could drive myself. Nevertheless, another very nice video.
Thank you for your comment. That's true my level if confidence in FSD is pretty high but only where I know FSD is driving with no surprises moments. When FSD beta is having potential issues, then I'm ready to intervene in any unexpected moments.
I'm legally blind, and can see much like you're seing with extreme blurry vision, I can walk around familiar places without a cane alright. I'm hoping some day we (the blind) could get a specialized permit/license to operate self driving cars. I miss the freedom of driving, and absolutely hate depending on others for transportation.
I believe the future is here and your dream will come true soon. It may take a few more years until the FSD beta will perform as expected but we are definitely going to the right direction. Thank you so much for your comment.
I also believe that the future is here. However, it will one day be a day we will have to have as an instructor try to teach us blind people how to use the system. And what can be so nice about is will be able to talk to the car just to tell it where to go. As a matter of fact I have a friend of mine who is basically got dyslexia and she knows how to drive one of those self-driving however I like the idea to freedom of having one. So that's why I can't wait for that. Because who knows I could use it to go to my doctor's appointments or to my bank. But as for my friend who is a dyslexic person basically she couldn't get the car to tell it where to go at that way she can get there in one piece without any problems. And one day there will be a way that that can happen as far as a specialized license. But that will have to be put on our drivers license to begin with. However, it's going to take awhile but first you'll have to send them ability instructor out to teach us how to use a Tesla with a full self-driving. But as for me I'd like a nice red one with white sweets that way I get to enjoy it.
@@leonardbrinkman4410 Such a great comment, thanks for that. I cannot agree more, one day … and hopefully that day it’s not that far, the car will be able to drive us where do we want and how we want. Also I’m pretty sure it will have voice instructions and directions and the AI will communicate with the passenger like a human being. “Where would you like to go today? How about a cup of coffee in the mean time ? “ 😁
@@TeslaFSDStudent you're welcome. Always glad to help out here in kind of need. However I think it's about time we realized when the next time we start hearing about this stuff. But as far as having a a full self-driving car to begin with that would be nice for me. And the other thing I'd like to understand about what it would be like to have a full self-driving Tesla but one thing I'd like to see is it when we get in the car we'd like to see a little key fob device basically you'll pick up and just speak into it to tell the car where to go. Hopefully that would be used instead of your cell phone.
@@leonardbrinkman4410 Yes, it’s already doing it. When I’m inside the car I never pick up the phone. I press the right little wheel from the steering wheel and I’m giving voice instruction / direction to Tesla where to take me.
I really believe going to Tesla can take somebody home if they're blind. But first you have to talk to it. That is why I had one it would do the same thing. But someone will have to teach me how to use full self-driving! Who knows, I might get used to to it.
I hope other car manufacturers would jump on this bandwagon, because tesla is way too expensive for people with disabilities and live on a fixed income.
I have vision in only one eye and vision in my remaining eye is a little blurry but I can drive. I try to avoid lane changes to my left. I think FSD would be safer for me than driving myself with the new 12.4 version. I used to have a Model Y but don’t now. It would be expensive to trade now and I’m not sure it’s worth it. Anybody have thoughts on this?
Thank you very much for your video however I am blind extremely low vision I have some usable site I have a model S and I have a model three the biggest problem that I have not tried yet I cannot use any of the controls even as a passenger I cannot use any control I have figured out how to dictate and I have figured out how to open the glove to but I cannot use the screen at all high and Tesla will work on this I can use an iPhone voiceover and I wish this feature was available and Tesla thank you I appreciate your video
I hear you Michael loud and clear and I am 100% with you. I agreed and I always wished that Tesla will let us customize the font size at least if not more so we can see better the screen. I'm pretty sure soon or later Tesla will bring some extra features to support the visually impaired people and help them in selecting faster the functions. Thanks so much, Michael commenting it means a lot to me to know that my video was a real-life exercise addressing to people with not a perfect vision.

Anyways thanks for the video but the thing is the auto pilot has to navigate through Indian roads that is the magic because in our country From which side who will turn? They also don’t know they just come in the middle and we realise that in last moment I mean it’s not degrading or saying our country is not safe but yeah our mentality
I'm thinking that Tesla FSD Beta can drive you home. What model do you have? I sure would love to get a Tesla. I pray that one of these days, I'll win a million dollars in the lottery, so I can buy one. With an electric car, you don't have to pay for gas. What's the point of needing a drivers license when you can get a self driving car lol?
One day Patrick FSD will bring us home for sure. I'm driving a Model 3. Actually you will need less than a million-dollar lottery to win a Tesla 😁. Yes, one of the great benefits of owning an electric car is to avoid the long lines up at the gas station. Thanks for your comments 👌
