It is working, do you own a Tesla or something else?

​@@MikeBoldis-d6dmy issue, I believe, was due to the last software update. It prevented the port from ever opening no matter what (app, inside, unlocked, etc). I had to manually pull it open, then it worked as expected from there out. This solution posted is only preventing a locked Tesla from opening the port. Not only a waste of time, but the intro made this obnoxiously a waste of time.

I hope other car manufacturers would jump on this bandwagon, because tesla is way too expensive for people with disabilities and live on a fixed income.

My car it’s equipped with radar but Tesla disabled that in the FSD Beta released. So all is vision based (for now)

The good news is, using the FSD it is extremely easy to operate. In fact it's nothing to do l, just turn it on and ask Tesla where to take you.

I believe the future is here and your dream will come true soon. It may take a few more years until the FSD beta will perform as expected but we are definitely going to the right direction. Thank you so much for your comment.

I also believe that the future is here. However, it will one day be a day we will have to have as an instructor try to teach us blind people how to use the system. And what can be so nice about is will be able to talk to the car just to tell it where to go. As a matter of fact I have a friend of mine who is basically got dyslexia and she knows how to drive one of those self-driving however I like the idea to freedom of having one. So that's why I can't wait for that. Because who knows I could use it to go to my doctor's appointments or to my bank. But as for my friend who is a dyslexic person basically she couldn't get the car to tell it where to go at that way she can get there in one piece without any problems. And one day there will be a way that that can happen as far as a specialized license. But that will have to be put on our drivers license to begin with. However, it's going to take awhile but first you'll have to send them ability instructor out to teach us how to use a Tesla with a full self-driving. But as for me I'd like a nice red one with white sweets that way I get to enjoy it.

I cannot agree more, one day … and hopefully that day it’s not that far, the car will be able to drive us where do we want and how we want. Also I’m pretty sure it will have voice instructions and directions and the AI will communicate with the passenger like a human being. “Where would you like to go today? How about a cup of coffee in the mean time ? “ 😁

@@TeslaFSDStudent you're welcome. Always glad to help out here in kind of need. However I think it's about time we realized when the next time we start hearing about this stuff. But as far as having a a full self-driving car to begin with that would be nice for me. And the other thing I'd like to understand about what it would be like to have a full self-driving Tesla but one thing I'd like to see is it when we get in the car we'd like to see a little key fob device basically you'll pick up and just speak into it to tell the car where to go. Hopefully that would be used instead of your cell phone.

@@leonardbrinkman4410 Yes, it’s already doing it. When I’m inside the car I never pick up the phone. I press the right little wheel from the steering wheel and I’m giving voice instruction / direction to Tesla where to take me.

The door handle taps always worked. The double-button press is not so effective all the time. But I hear you, we need to try all combinations possible to unlock the car.

@@ariesanfilippo1078 Still is an issue from time to time, but it seems to be getting better after a drive. In terms of when the cars is in deep sleep mode, now it seems that spamming the charger button, wakes the car up. I don't know if the spamming actually triggers the car to wake, or if it is the initial press, I'll look into it

Just to make sure, when you say charging cable you are not meaning the charging port, right? You can access the the charging cable from inside the car upper left side from the trunk. Also do you have the Tesla charger at home?

What I have to say is that even if we see the blue cars on the left or right, which means to FSD beta those blue cars indicate that they are likely to enter the intersection, so think that obviously we can't read thoughts and maybe Tesla is right. That those drivers can miss the red light and then actually enter the intersection, you never know. From the FSD Beta I found this unusual to stop in the middle of the intersection for someone who doesn’t have the right to go. That’s why I mentioned in my video that I was confused about the FSD visualization

@@rickybrown5817 Ha ha - I wish that to be possible so soon. My 2 cents ? = no, not yet at least. Besides the technology there are other regulatory reasons that will delay the Full Self Driving capabilities

I'm in normal FSD and setting. Sorry to hear that you don’t have the best experience so far with the FSD. I am I’m pretty sure that you know by now, just to make sure that your cameras are clean no dirt and dust on those and retry the test may be at this time you have more luck. I would say that so many FSD beta testers had so great experience in the past with the roundabouts, so you should have the same as well. I am very confident that you will be pleased. Once you figure out how to drive with the FSD beta and also how FSD beta start building confidence in you .

You can not keep your hands on the wheel all the time. It will disengage. The wheels move alot on FSD especially in city driving. Don't be a ken.

I understand what you are saying and mostly agree with you. But when I film, I want to prove to everyone that the FSD beta does not need my interventions and is capable of handling the steering wheel by itself. I had multiple doubts as to why I keep touching the steering wheel - and then I decided to show what FSD Beta can really do and stop misinterpretations. Every day when I drive the car, however, then I have much more control over the steering wheel. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate the concern, it's valid.

One more thing to add is, if I would not respect the rules that Tesla requires during the drive then I receive strikes right away. So far as a beta tester I never received any strikes. But... Going back to your original comment - please be careful out there and pay attention to the driving, even more when FSF Beta it is engaged.

This is what Elon promised, for everyone in USA and Canada by the end of the year. So I would say YES to your question.

Actually no, you will not get "turning on city streets". The car will stop for stop signs and red lights but not continue on its own without your pressing accelerator and it will not turn left or right at intersections. NOT FSD suit but they still charge you full price. rip off.

I wasn’t too confident about that turn and I felt that FSD hesitated for a moment. What I know from the past sometimes the car pushed tie accelerator and gave me heart attacks so I avoided that - just in case. When doing tests drive, our reactions are behind the car’s instant manoeuvre, and in many cases creates troubles.
