Both top motch singers, particularly John Farnham with a career spanning over 6 decades. If you react to his music there is one rule, live concert always. Studio recordings are phenomenal, but live is utterly spectacular. Particularly the concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, you're welcome!
Two Aussie Legends. Jimmy is the bad boy of Rock and Roll and John is the nice guy. John has been around since 1967 and was still performing in 2020...7 decades.....and he has had chart busting hits in every single one of those decades including 6 consecutive decades of number one's. And most recently an album was released this year, the sound track to the story of his struggle to the top...which went instantly to number 2 on the Aussie charts. He is crazy good with a huge vocal range and can sing just about any genre of music which is why he has 4 generations of fans. There's something for everyone from hard rock, to the most heart breaking ballad. He also had a stint as the lead singer of the Little River Band for a few years in the 80's and toured America for a bit. He is known as The Voice in Australia and also as an all round nice bloke. Voted by his contemporarys in the i dustry as the Best Singer Australia has ever had. Check out his signature and most famous song You're The Voice Live with the Melbourne Symphony orchestra. Jimmy has been around for almost as long, since the 70's with a band called Cold Chisel, as well as a stellar solo career simce the 80's. He is known more as a hard rocker and all that goes with that. Can also sing just about anything but bluesy Rock and hard rock is more his lane. He has cleaned up his act completely in recent years and is still touring ...often with members of his family. Check out Stone Cold with Joe Bonamassa Ive just subbed. Cant wait to see what you react to next
Welcome to the Aussie rabbit hole 😁, Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham are Aussie legends and the guitarist is Johnny diesel, is Jimmy Barnes brother in-law plus a bloody good singer/ song writer aswell. All of them are fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 For John Farnham, I would suggest the songs from his concert with the Melbourne symphony orchestra, - your the voice - help - playing to win - items a long way to the top. Jimmy Barnes - work class man - mustang sally Bugga, it's 6am here and my brain just went blank 😂 Love your reactions, love that you are discovering Aussie music, all three of these men have decades of songs that are just epic. I hope you enjoy 👍👍👍
Will definitely be chopping floor and checking out more of these suggestions Thank you for the love and support and looking forward to seeing you on the next one
That music clip is 32 years old, john was 41 or 42 at the time, those bottles on the table are real and full of alcohol, and yes they were getting pretty drunk by the end of that clip. There was whisky, scotch, martini glasses, shot glasses and whiskey glasses on that table, and they were also smoking 🚬 as well.👋💕🇦🇺
It's truly an amazing song and so relatable. I love the authentic look of the environment and it further makes you appreciate the song with each detail
I love it when someone tries to out sing or out power John. Not possible! He is amazing and humble. John had number one albums in five consecutive decades, the Whispering Jack album stayed at number one for more than six months. Michael Jackson couldn’t move him from number one. Try John singing Help with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra live. Or John singing Led Zeppelin’s Back Dog as a sound check. Pick a genre and someone will give you a list. Thank you.
Keep the list coming I rather we be backlogged with tons of content to work on once a day, once every other day or every two days. Please don't hesitate to send more
This is good, but John always puts 110% in to his LIVE shows. This song from when they performed it LIVE; so much more belting out and connection between John & Jimmy.
Thx for reacting to these 2 legends of Aussie music.... Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham are true Aussie legends... can you please do some more Jimmy Barnes, Driving Wheels & Cold Chisel "Bow River"
You MUST watch this song done LIVE at the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards. John Farnham is a far better and more versatile singer (in over 20 genres) than Jimmy Barnes. Even Jimmy Barnes states that! Always see and hear John Farnham LIVE in concert where his Soul shines and this consummate, charismatic performer has magical rapport with his audience.
🔥🔥Australian icons, Jimmy, John and Diesel incredible sangers and musicians...Peace🤙☝️😌
John is known as “the voice” of Australia. 🇦🇺👏👏👏
Knocked it out of the park. Truly an amazing voice

I can tell Diesel's guitar playing by ear...almost as big a fan as i am of the other two legends.
It's really amazing. the performance is top notch
Amazing video sharing my friend
Thank you as always chandra appreciate you 🙏
John's name is pronounced Farnum h is silent. FYI. The guitar 🎸 player is Jimmy's brother inlaw. Disel is a legend in his own right.
man i wish i could growl properly lol
This is good, but John always puts 110% in to his LIVE shows. This song from when they performed it LIVE; so much more belting out and connection between John & Jimmy.
We'll have to check out the live
Jimmy, yeah, but imo John can out-sing Jimmy any day of the week. Always live with these guys too. Cheers
I'm looking forward to checking out more from him, this was really good and the guitar play was top notch MyLittlePwny appreciate the love and support
Yes live, although this is the exception, this studio version is as good as the live ones imho.
