One thing I dread is when projects seemingly lacks excitement and pizzaz. I have found though that a few clever tricks can actually make a regular old transition go from boring to, “Wow! How did you do that?”
Those are the kinds of reactions that I love to see from clients and people. I am also finding that it helps keep viewers engaged as video transitions can add movement and rhythm.
So here’s what you get. I wanted to do something really cool and make these Premiere Pro Transitions free to you. I have created a project file that you can download at the link below and use on your next edit.

For those who expreience a "media Pending" error when rendering in to out, What I did was set the render in to out to the exact start/end of the adjustment layers and that seemed to fix the problem.

Wow this is great. These transitions can really boost up the production value of any project no matter how big or small the budget is.
I'm just learning video editing and was overwhelmed, this is very helpful.
You can save yourself a few steps in this process. In the timeline window, top left, is a button which toggles the overwrite option between sequence or clips. Switch it off and you can overwrite (or drag if you prefer) directly from the browser. One move instead of many.

These are absolutely amazing! For anyone where it's copying on the layer of your video just turn track targeting off.
Where is track targeting?
@@ZenHolisticFitness For premiere pro, it should have the different video and audio layers. ( v1, v2, v2, a1, a2, a3 etc). The v and a icons on the left of the timeline represent those layers. If the icon is highlighted in a bluish color (it could be a different color based on your settings in premier itself), it means that layer is targeted. Click the icon that's highlighted and you should see the blue color disappear, which means that layer is no longer targeted. Let me know if it works out or not.

To solve the issue of upside-down video during the transition. Restarting didn't help me. To solve this.
I just clicked on the bottom adjustment layer and opened the "effect panel" and just toggled off one of the "mirror" options. And it worked. Thank you for this. Subscribed. 👍

Hey. These are great, I'm applying a few of these free effects to some of my game montages, and really improves from the basic cross dissolves i was using (I am a PP beginner though!) Quick question though, the attached files work great for 1080p and 4k videos using the HD and UHD file formats, but how should i adjust the settings for 1440p? Setting just the scale to 150% applies the effect to the full screen but some of the transition alteration goes a little wonky, like it is still on a 1080p canvas, thanks!
