    I no longer recommend the Project Lithium Battery. They are not well made. Read this Reddit thread to understand why I'm making this comment: www.reddit.com/r/prius/s/MdK3g2ONk3

      There’s thousands of these on the road. As you can see, they don’t catch fire. They smoke to death. That was the only incident and the culprit was that the loose wiring. I know a number of people who are still running their old version one packs still. All I can say is you can run the OEM or you can run this one which is a game changer have to wait twice the range and then mpg boost

    Thanks for sharing reddit link, I really appreciate it! I was just about to place an order. I converted my car into a plug-in hybrid with Nissan Leaf batteries... imagine if the whole thing caught fire, oh boy!

    Hi. Great job.Some questions? Nexcell battery i presume. Car? Didn’t need to change the BMS and battery case I see. What about the temp sensors? Thanks

      2009 Gen 2 Prius.
      The only thing you replace are the battery modules themselves. Everything else stays in the case and attaches to the new modules... including the temperature sensors.

    Why did the first one fail? Bad installation or something else?

    • @JoMophee
      @JoMophee  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The reason it failed was because the battery overcharged. It Couldn't handle the constant regenerative braking I do as a Rural Carrier for the Post Office. I made the video to show I installed the Battery correctly, so there wasn't any doubt if it failed a 2nd time.

      How much did the new battery cost?

  • @MLK.PaNoRaMa

    blade voltage too low 3.26v why? supposed to be 8v

    • @JoMophee
      @JoMophee  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @MLK.PaNoRaMa it's measuring the individual cell voltage per blade. For the Lithium upgrade setting it takes takes the 14 blades and x's it by 5 and for individual cell voltage rather than blade voltage.
