Good job. Nice, relaxed, simple, step-by-step teaching approach. Thanks.

I think its a good idea to lube all the moving parts, like the instructions say, including both sides of the little spring steel clips (one of them has the cricket) that the pads slide it. You just put the thinnest coat possible on the clips. I put some on the push-face of the piston, and on the caliper, rather than on the back of the pads, just a thin coat. Thicker coat on the pins so that the calipers slide easily and both pads wear as close to the same rate as possible.

Do you still have the car? Just wondering because I’m a fellow owner from MD. They seem to be getting very few and far between in the northeast

Unfortunately I can't pass the most recent inspection because of unibody rust. Here in MA they have cameras now on the inspection equipment that now documents the body of the vehicle . I barely passed the last inspection and forgot about that issue. When I went in this time they had the rust issue in the system and it had progressed since the last inspection. I did not get an estimate but imagine that any welding and repair would cost over a thousand which is more than the car is worth at this point.

New England Gardening the one I bought from PA has rust as well by the rear trailing arm mounts. Over 20 years old means no inspection in MD but I plan on fluid filming the underside habitually to keep it as long as possible. It only has 124k miles!
