Thank you! I recommend fixing up your SVX while parts aren't completely discontinued. :) These are such great cars and a joy to drive when they are in good shape. It's still my favorite of all of my cars.
Super cool Subie! And that’s coming from a 2018 STI owner. I modify my own cars and do my own tuning. Just wanted to tell you that I really love your Subie, and it’s super super clean. Good work! I love it when other people dig quirky Subie stuff lol
Pretty awesome. I got a 97 on black with less than 80K miles. I love videos of SVX. Yours is pretty awesome. Great job on it. I like the front you did on it looks like it keeps the engine a little cooler. I was not aware that glass lights where ever made. I’m going to definitely look for some. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from NC. ;-)
This is an absolute GEM of an SVX! The mods you've made are clearly in good taste. I am in awe... I hope you never sell her, because she's in good hands!
Just found these videos, they bring back memories from the 25th meet. And for those who are wondering, the car looks even better in person. I especially love the way the interior turned out!
wow you kept that car nice and clean i love it. what a fantastic car you. hoping i one day find an svx on my own here in norway. they are hard to come by here. i only know of 1 svx in the country at the momemt. i have to most likely import one from either germany or the netherlands. but wow best looking svx i have seen on the internet by far. yes that also includes calebs svx. yours look fantastic. color scheme everything on yours look presctine. you have great taste
My dad had two of these things growing up, a pearl & black one and a teal green one. Have so many fond memories of riding in this "race car". The attention to detail you have gone through on this car is stunning, seriously I am without words. Would love to see a video of the car driving.
Thank you so much. These cars in their prime were very underrated and are fantastic on the highway. The way the car feels when they "hunker" down as you speed up is such a cool feeling. It's too easy to speed in these vehicles as the ride can be crazy smooth. As mine is modified, it's gotten louder on the interior (as the MT sits higher in the transmission tunnel) and honestly, I miss the OEM designed interior quietness. Love exhaust notes but MT synchros are whiney. 😂 I will see if I can get a driving video up soon. The exhaust note isn't what I want but it's a "temporary" exhaust until I install a forced induction system.
Super clean and always nice to see women get into to cars! I know you are probably on top of this, but that red & black shifter/boot has gotta go! The interior is too nice! Maybe get tan boot to match the seats and dark brown knob to match the dash.
I actually have a shifter boot that matches the suede all around. I just felt it was too much neutral colors and decided to bring a pop of the red exterior inside. Then the brown boot just looked off so I went with black. I spent a silly amount of time driving what colors to go with. :)
I was able to score a '92 LS-L with only 88k miles on it about 2 months ago. I've been planning on 5 speed swapping it. I've been searching high and low for glass headlights and power folding mirrors. Would you mind telling me your source for said parts?
Hi, I got the headlights from a friend several years ago. My friend had a military friend stationed in Germany acquire them for him and ship them to the states. Hope this helps and good luck!🤞
Would it be possible to retrofit one of these with the more capable suspension from the Outback or even WRX Imprezza models into this? How difficult would it be?
Hey theree!!!i have myself a Lsi 96 awd and tuned it to 310 horsepower and 338 torque, where do I buy that middle light bar replacement or can I buy it from you what transmission did you use FOR THE 6 spd swap?!
She is Beautiful ! that 6 speed Manual Transmission how well does it hold up to the torque ? Unbelievably Clean Engine Bay ! Whats her Name ? or dont you name your cars ?
I think you can still order the side skirts from Delta Speed, either directly or through a 3rd party. They are in Japan. The bumper was a special 21 st anniversary piece and they are sold out.
wow, this is a clean one, i have a 93 silver/black two tone, i still haven't six speed swapped it, but am planning to, who made your conversion parts, and do you think they could make some for me? oh, and are you running a PWR radiator?, after the almost 29 years of life, mine finally developed the crack, i ordered one a while back and its being shipped as i write this. ps. all my struts work too, and no plastic bulging and/or cracking, we don't get alot of heat or direct sunlight where i live. greetings from iceland ;).
Thank you. My 1.5" core radiator is by AMR however the 2" core PWR radiators are also a very good choice. My friend in VA made the cradle for the 2005 STI manual transmission, the other custom parts were templates by me and then custom made by a local fabricator, and friend. There are discussions on FB groups about group buy for conversion kits. There are slight differences between 5MT and 6 MT conversion. Decide which you want and understand the difference. You will need a custom driveshaft if you use a 5 MT and if you don't have some place local, I recommend going for a 6 MT swap. It's a little less of an installation headache. Good luck!
With 0 being "literally legos assembly" easy and 10 being "easier to just light a match." For me, a 5. I couldn't do welding/ fabrication myself or remove/install the transmission with at least 1 other person. These take time and meant it wasn't a weekend swap. There were moments when something went wrong and it felt like an 11.
I love your SVX and all that you have done to it, very tasteful mods, especially that 6 speed. Ive got 4 of them, 2 nice drivers, one smashed rear QP car that still runs and drives, and a parts car thats a 94. The other 3 are all 92s. Did you know that after 92, they had speed limiters on them? the 92s didnt, and must have pissed off some cops. I know that the cops in whitefish montana siezed one and made it into a cop car, you can see it on youtube and google it. Thanks for showing us how nice they can be!
@@Kitty92905 that's a wonderful collection. I have 2 of them technically. This '93 and a project '92. I don't know of the speed limiter, however I know 93+ have a throttler regulator that was supposed to help with smoother acceleration. It was a part that quickly failed and the result was throttle lag when you try to quickly increase speed. The fix was to crush a capacitor on the ecu. Worked like a charm to get my '93 pedal acceleration responsive and smooth again back in 2004. :)
Im litterally in awwe, such an amazing ride you got there. You deserve many rounds of applause 👏 👏 👏
Thank you!
I miss the sealbeald of My 🚗SVX Subaru and sound power music under cover drive.🏎️
What a great collection of Subarus on the background. If you add Outback Wilderness the collection is complete.
I have 5 Subarus however like many SVX owners, I have multiple. 😂 I want a Subaru Sambar next.
I Want a New SVX Subaru.👍
Beautiful! Bring back my memory to my red 97 LSi.
Pearl white SVX here. Love these cars
The red is really nice on this car. It was the reason I clicked on the video actually.
Good car girl good car.🏎️👍
Beautiful SVX.
Seeing yours makes me want to get my 92' Ebony LS-L out of storage and fix a few things so that I can drive it.
Thank you! I recommend fixing up your SVX while parts aren't completely discontinued. :) These are such great cars and a joy to drive when they are in good shape. It's still my favorite of all of my cars.

My god! What a beautiful car! Excellent choices and work! So awesome! Tastefully done!!!!
What an amazingly good looking, clean example of the 25th Anniversary edition. Kudos to you!
literal dream car, just found this on my recommended, would love to see an update if you still have it
wow, thats a fine example, very tasteful mods

Just found these videos, they bring back memories from the 25th meet. And for those who are wondering, the car looks even better in person. I especially love the way the interior turned out!
Aww. Thank you! Here's hoping I can attend this year's 30th. 💕

Hi, from which Subaru did you use the pedal assembly for your manual swap?
Thanks.
I need to see a video on your other rides! The svx is very nice, definition of oem plus.

This is a VERY PRETTY Subaru SVX, but you should consider starting ASMR carreer, you have an amazing voice 😇
Very well done and thought out. German headlight are the only way to go. I would have to do a 97 grill though.
goddammit this looks incredible

Would it be possible to retrofit one of these with the more capable suspension from the Outback or even WRX Imprezza models into this? How difficult would it be?

Thank you! Pandora is its name. :)
know where I could get that bumper or the side skirts?
Love the car btw
i second this, i wasn't sure if they still made them.

A true beauty, inspiring
I've got #003 or #002 of 301. Can't remember off the top of my head

That is realllly nice. I have so many questions haha
I have a rust free 95 garage baby, almost identical color. I feel sick when I say I had a 97 rusted lsi that i... don't want to talk about it
Question, is it possible to put down good power with these
Beautiful work.
its gorgeous, make more videos
Noooice!!!😮
Cool car
Super cool. Such a gorgeous car
Very nice
Subie Heaven!!!
When u did a manual swap where did get clutch paddle
It's from a 2005 Subaru STI.
Where did you get the manual swap done?
Hi, I did it myself however friends fabricated the transmission cradle, shifter linkage and pedal assembly for the install.
So on a scale from 0-10, how hard would you personally say was the transmission swap?
With 0 being "literally legos assembly" easy and 10 being "easier to just light a match." For me, a 5. I couldn't do welding/ fabrication myself or remove/install the transmission with at least 1 other person. These take time and meant it wasn't a weekend swap. This car is great cut do not 🏎️🤳 she's lying.🚗
is my now❤
Super
What would the price be if you were too sell it?
I honestly can't think of one. I committed to dying with this car when I started restoring her.
nice
すっげー
