I just went through your entire content and it is truly life-changing because some of the topics finally clicked for me. You have a wonderful teaching style, great work!
my lie is that im an introvert and i dont want/need other ppl the fact that "i enjoy spending time with others and making people happy, even with out knowing them" proves that wrong the fact that "i care deeply that others not have false opinions of me, although i dont act like it" proves that wrong the fact that "i reach out to people and try to make new friends from time to time" proves that wrong
I agree with the concept but I would like to explore whether that lie being self-positive (having a perceived purpose or placing a high importance on oneself, delusions of grandeur etc) or self-negative (thinking you're not good enough, undeserving etc) makes a difference. Buzz Lightyear had a self-positive lie, which he realised and was humbled by, and then did good by embracing who he actually was from humbler beginnings and the power in that for good. I am not so sure that a negative lie (i.e. thinking you are not good enough and that you need to be perfect otherwise no one will like you) works in the same way to make others like you. I'm not saying that it shouldn't, but realistically given how social groups work, whether it actually functions in that direction, I'm not so sure?
Unquestionably, a few of the best minutes I’ve ever spent in TH-cam. I tell people a similar things: - Everyone’s entitled to their own facts. - Everyone’s entitled to their own interpretation of their own facts. - Be careful, unless you don’t mind being a church of one (a Jungian thing).. All of which is a little like the diff between comedy, drama and tragedy. Comedy, protagonist learns the lesson. Drama, protagonist learns part of the lesson. Tragedy, protagonist apathetic to lesson. Is it 5 o’clock, yet? The point is just because it seems like a lie doesn’t mean it always will be a lie. There was a time people could fly and Max’s shoe phone was a joke. It will forever be true, that there are more things (lies) that haven’t been invented, than ever have been invented in human history.
Loved this video, really cool food for thought!

Ouch. What a confronting case of looking into the mirror to dispel the illusion. Thanks.
you are awesome

That is really insightful. Thank you for such a high quality content.
I will need some time to identify the lie I tell myself 😅
I think I have the same lie as you 😅😅
SAME!
🎉But what if someone wants actual success rather than just to be a lovable loser.
