I usually hang the plastic orange trick or treat jack o lanterns (1.99) from my trees in my yard, with solar lights in them. We drill holes in the bottom for drainage in case of rain, which is inevitable here in October. (SC) I started this tradition with my children, and now my three grand children get to enjoy them! We usually hang between 10 to 15, and they are wonderful lit up at night. My favorite piece was the black and green vase. I could see putting a battery flickering candle inside, and also including some sort of faux orange flowers in the top. No words for the joy you bring me, your voice is like a balm for my soul. I’m not able to shop due to RA/Fibro, but your videos allow me to shop and learn so much through them. Sometimes, when I’m painting, I just play your videos on replay because your voice is very soothing and therapeutic for me. I’m also famously known by my family for liking all of your comments to make sure you get as much likes as you can! Sending love and light to you and your family, Sunshine 🌞 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
@@sandischoenberg9501you're paying for the value of a piece, not what she pays. If you occasionally collect and have the time then it's probably best you look for yourself. Some people want the convenience.
They sell items that are damaged/used/nasty for sky high prices. Items are donated free! I could and should donate/shop elsewhere. You need to visually inspect Items, and the smell from smoking makes me gag.
My dog Bugsy always comes running up to the computer when he hears Bear and Rio. He whines at the screen, clearly perplexed at how they managed to get inside the house without him noticing
My favorite items were the Rae Dunn mug and the black cut to green vase! I have always loved green! I can’t afford them, but I enjoy watching! If I get cured, you bet I’ll become a purchaser because I love your taste!
Hi Tiffany! I hope you're doing well. Some things I was interested in that you didn't pick up are (at the first GW), 16:00 the box of "little lights" shaped like angels in a box. At 17:30 the square red plate to hold a candle, and at 18:45 even though the honey pot had a crack on the lid it would look lovely as a decor piece in the kitchen. Enjoy your weekend! 💌
16:49 I’m drooling over that “Catalina” multicolored ashtray right there 🥹 i don’t smoke but i can’t get over the nostalgia of ashtrays. So romantic and edgy 🤭 I always get them. That ones pretty unique 💖
Enjoy the thrifting/shopping trips, & getting to see Interesting things. But I really enjoy all the Critters. We lost our sweet shepherd 2 yr ago, but it brings back good memories when I watch you all play with yours. :~)
Tiffany, nice haul! The collect-a-plates may not be worth much but the wooden frames some of them are in are sought after. Recently I bought one for $3, I left the plate (redonated) & sold the frame for $27. Best wishes!
I think all the thift shops are all gouging. They are what they are, and what people do with what they buy in those stores is their own business. They get everything free, so they are still making a good profit selling it cheap to poor folks.
The prices are getting out of control at Goodwills. Our local Goodwills have really up their prices. There is no consistency between the prices at the local Goodwill
My last two trips to Value Village had me walking away also without a purchase. Didn't have anything worth purchasing or prices just too high for what the item was .
Hi our Dear Tiffany 🎉 Always a fun time watching search for treasures. Thank you. The Haul was fabulous 🎃 I hope a lot of the iteams sold for you 🙀 🦇 🎃
Oh, Ziggy and Bandit were really interested in the M & Ms house. They are so cute! You have sweet fur babies. 🐈💕 I have two matching large footed glasses that are the exact same pattern as the green planter you found, and they are also marked FTD 1975! Of course, I found them at Goodwill! My budget won’t permit me to buy the planter, unfortunately, but one may turn up someday in one of my Goodwills. I love all your adorable Halloween things, and I love the cat mug with the treble clef. Not a big haul today, but it was the perfect opportunity to show us the Halloween items! I’m sure someone will happily snap those up! 👻🎃
Hi Tiffany once again thank you for a lovely video I loved the blue hanging vase and the scarecrow pottery basket stay well my friend love Margaret UK 🇬🇧 xx
Hi Tiffany ,19:10 I think that was broken before you came along. I've encountered that at Goodwill in the past. It was kind of you to not leave it on the shelf. Beautiful book end kitties.
24:04 That very vintage FTD pot sure is pretty. On that subject, I know in general, no one wants to pickup more modern FTD or TELEFLORA, being made in China, almost exclusively and because the quality went way down from what they both used to have. I was looking on Ebay one time recently and found that vintage Teleflora vases are gorgeous and sell pretty well. They were often made in Malaysia and Thailand and the excellent craftsmanship was evident. So I guess it pays to take a closer look at Teleflora and FTD ceramic vessels...if they're older, they can really be worth a pickup.
Tiffany, do you think the way the prices at Goodwill have gone up due to the economy stress or more because higher income persons are shopping there more?? Some of the pieces are pretty outrageously priced. Thank you for your videos and hard work. 😊
I would have loved to have you pick up those 3 soufflé cups (Cermer) because I have 5 of them and keep looking for more to make up 8. I love making individual cheesecakes in them. The prices at Goodwill have gotten out of hand, completely!
Sometimes when you get thost long tectangle plates Tiffany, they are under plates to creamer and sugar sets and can actually make the creamer sets more valuable having the under plate.
The Goodwill in West Los Angeles is ridiculously expensive now. It was never cheap but now the prices are higher than Amazon that sells new items. GW clothing is supposed to be for people that need to buy items at a low price because of their situation they are in at the moment. These items are donated they should not try and make such a profit. The store had so many clothing items stuffed on racks that you couldn't even pull off to see the item...that's because nobody will pay those ridiculous prices.
Hi Tiffany, I’m curious about that clear square vase with embossed flowers. It looked like a Blenko vase. I have 2 in amber and green. My husband bought them new at their store in WV. Why did you think it was a give away? Anyway, mine are etched Blenko and the date in the bottom.
That GW doesn't have much how do they make it maybe that is why everything is so high. People could be donating to other thrift places because they are charging to much.
The “craft “ piece you picked up and put down is created by a local Redlands’s CA artist. The brown fabric wasn’t stained, it was hand dyed fabric which gave it different mottled look. It was a wall hanging
Tiffany...It has been a while since I tuned into your video...such a good time at Goodwill, as always. Do you find the increase in prices disturbing and problematic for your resale business? I know you have your shop space, but it seems like the prices overall at Goodwill (I'm in So California) have risen to double digits, even when the pieces are broken or cracked. Thanks and bless you for sharing your Haul with us and scenes of your fur babies...Rio has grown into a beautiful girl...Bear is as handsome as ever. And the cats, well...what can I say, the cats are always adorable.🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖💖
The prices are up. At my go to thrift stores too. I can't buy something for $6 and sell it for $10 . Your goodwill looks like the GW here in Fort Worth. Empty shelves with high pricea. I don't waste the has going there anymore
For me, its the thrill of the hunt, and.... being there when they're restocking, lol! Somethine I have to think outside the box, but its not very often that I don't find treasure. oxo
If Goodwill is going to charge that much for chipped and low quality items, it might pay to start shopping in higher quality stores. You might have to pay a few dollars more, but the asking price could reflect that. Estate sales are also another option.
All of them are trying to raise as much money they can for their charities. As long as they also provide items at prices that poorer families and individuals can afford. They seem to be doing that. As always, enjoying your video.

Tiffany...you or your viewers may have already heard about potential problems with black plastic, but in case you haven't...here it is: This is nothing to panic about, but it's good to know. I'm gonna try to pass this on to channels I watch regularly when I can remember. Resellers esp come in contact with a lot of things made from black plastic. I won't leave links or anything. The google search term I used is: "Is black plastic safe?" More details: Plastic manufacturers and plastic scientists have recently released studies that show that BLACK PLASTIC, all sorts, esp things like black plastic kitchen utensils, may be unhealthy to use because of a fire retardant chemical that's used in making most black plastics. They say it can leach out and the retardant chemical is known to be cancer-causing. They're saying Even black plastic beads used in jewelry can be unhealthy. Eek! 😮I don't know, I guess any black plastic. The problem is when the plastic is used around food (one article mentioned problems w/sushi trays) like black plastic spatulas or black plastic that comes in contact with our skin? I'm gonna read up a lot more on it. Just another "thing" we have to think about. But better to be safe than sorry. Take care ❤
are now a resell store and no longer thrift store. They get it for free and research for prices that are retail what a shame. The CEOs are banking. A literal gold mine for them. I no longer shop there.
Everything you say that you think the item is is not very picky a lot of beautiful stuff you passed up some people don't care about the name they care about the they look at the color and how pretty if you turn down any profit profit profit
I’m actually happy that goodwills have caught on to price higher and make a good profit…they have caught on from all these people who resale and figure if people but it for a higher price online they can sell it at high price right in the store…that’s brilliant!
The thing is that they won't sell..goodwill has no problem cutting their noses to spite their face. They'll let it go to the landfill before they'll let anyone have it..sad..because they get this stuff for free and the ceo doesn't need a 3 million dollar bonus on charity..
It is such a shame that Goodwill wants so much for so many broken pieces.
U have a HEART! ( about taking the broken one) to the front desk)
You have such a soothing voice I sometimes fall asleep but I do love your videos. I just watch it again.
😂 I know u mean that as a compliment ❤
Do you decorate for Halloween? My kids love to add one new item each year... What was your favorite Halloween treasure from my haul? oxo
I decorate a bit for every holiday. Halloween is a favorite for decor. Unique witches and black cats are fun to collect for me.
Actually decorate with black cats ,crows and ravens !!! So the Hager black cat from your last haul is my favorite !!!

Oh yes! We love to decorate for all holidays. Halloween, Christmas & a great big flag for the 4th!! 👻
The cuddly black cat plushie is my favorite.😍
Very disappointed with Goodwill's pricing. I think it is called gouging.🤨
True
You better believe it. 🤦♀️
Ya but it’s no different than trying to buy hers and others like her raising the price for resale…that’s why I go and look for treasures myself

Love the amethyst vase for Halloween decore !!!

I love that one too, its perfect for Halloween decor! Thank you so much for watching. oxo
So much fun. Like treasure hunting and gift-giving.
I hope you find more of those red dotted Christmas dishes and the set has a cookie jar too.❤😊
Yes! The cookie jar is stacked presents and a really great piece to be on the lookout for. Thank you so much for watching! oxo

I think maybe you need to have your glasses close by. I think the bud vase is marked on the bottom. It looks like it could be an avon vase.
That's probably a good idea, lol! Which bud vase?
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I really enjoy your videos. Maybe it's just a small vase - the one you laid on it's side (10:46).

How i wish we could get items like that here...
The “craft “ piece you picked up and put down is created by a local Redlands’s CA artist. The brown fabric wasn’t stained, it was hand dyed fabric which gave it different mottled look. It was a wall hanging
Thank you so much for letting me know. I really liked it so if its still there next time, I'll definitely pick it up! oxo
that fabric art piece... i am not sure that's stained... they do make fabric called "grunge" that may very well be that. 🙂

Believe they need to restock? I am actually seeing the same broken pieces on 2 different Vegas channels. Oh, my.
Looks like price gouging, especially when everything is donated

Can we go somewhere else other than Goodwill please?
Goodwill prices for the self buyer but they need to price for the retailer.
Do you ever think they learn what resellers buy and raise those prices more than things people buy because they need them?
The trend of items that resellers buy is constantly shifting and changing. Goodwill of Southern Nevada's goal is to make as much profit as possible to fulfill their mission. "To reduce the impact of poverty on our community by helping Southern Nevadans obtain local employment and upward mobility."
They're quite expensive with everything they get for free.
Those prices are crazy high. I think it’s worth you taking a trip to the southern states, much cheaper.
❤❤❤
As always, thank you so much for watching my friend! oxo
Had to be already broken to come apart like it did
You might be right Patty.... it really took me by surprise! oxo
