I watch a lot of advent calendar videos and there’s such a difference between the elegant, intriguing way women open them compared to the haphazard, unrefined way men approach it. 😅
I think for a Harrods advent calendar this is really decent value for your money. Harrods is a British shop known for luxury products so yeah, you are going to get 3 different types of tea. I do wish they wern't all black but black is the preferred Brit kind I suppose. If I were a regular Harrods client( ie if I earned a couple hundred thousand quid a year)I wouldn't hesitate to get this calendar. Although I do agree that the pen and note pad should have been in the same door. Also, just as a note, the notepad is quite good for grocery lists
You can get that shape of notebook for shopping lists, including a magnet on the back to allow you to store it on the door of a refrigerator in the £1 shop! Let's not add unnecessary value to that item! Especially when the £1 shop adds a magnet! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@MS-Michelle Yeah, the notebook was for sure the weakest item. They could have put a nice little leather notebook in there with an embossed cover or something.
@@GA-fz2wt If you bought all the items individually at Harrods you would pay more then 250 for sure. Compared to 95% of other calendars this is a really decent one. Tbh, I think this advent calendar was very good value (for Harrods). If you go into Harrods and added up all these products individually, I reckon it would cost well over £250!
well yeah but that's basic shop economics; they want you spending big, so you spend more to get better value for the quantity, whereas the smaller, individual items are a poorer price per gram/ml/whatever unit is applicable. if it was the other way round you'd only cherry pick the few items you were interested in and overall spend less, which isnt good for them.

I think Harrod's gets away with including some more cheapie gifts in there simply because the people who normally buy it probably don't worry about spending 250 on a calendar and aren't bothered with getting exact money's worth -- it's more for the tradition of it.
Yeah, agreed. Only thing I was genuinely disappointed by though was the double chocolate bar moment.
Just found your channel . Love it !!
Yay! Thank you!
I was thinking I would like that plum and berry jam and then Jack says “I think that’s an over 40s thing”…cries in 43 😩😩😩
From a tramp to Harrods: The Robbie Knox story. Coming this holiday season to all good book shops (and some rubbish ones as well)
I think putting it back togeather would be a few mins fun in it's self.
Definitely my kind of calendar - I loved almost everything in it.
Don’t forget if you had kids, or even not, you can use this calendar each year and put your own goods in each compartment!
I have three kids, and will 100% do this!
