This is great! Back in 1984 I was throwing up my fists in time to this track with my old school headphones on. I even curled my lip like he does. I was obsessed with this entire album! Then twenty years later I got to meet him at his autobiography book signing. That was fantastic getting to tell him I’d been devoted fan most of my life. 💖👏🏻
Love me some Billy Idol! I remember when this came out. I’ve watched this video probably a million times and still haven’t gotten tired of it. Mony Mony was another favorite. Dancing with Billy!! ❤️🤟🏼
I’m glad i was born in the 70’s lol, I grew up listening to all the power ballads. Waking up to put the box tv on and watching (mtv rage video hits) were the best memories of singing and dancing with my brothers and sisters…GOOD TIMES. 😌

ah, the flashbacks are endless!! still enjoy some Billy from time to time. as kids, we cranked the hell out of him. btw, those hearts over K Shavon’s eyes with that pop sound nearly woke the house from an unsuspecting laugh. 😆
Billy got sent home with a note from a teacher that read 'Billy is IDLE in class'. That day Billy Idol was born lol. I saw that on one of those 'behind the music' tupe shows from back in the day. I always found that pretty hilarious.
And to think Billy Idol started out as a budding Blitz Kid. For those of you who don’t know, The Blitz was a somewhat exclusive nightclub in London where the likes of: Spandau Ballet, Boy George and Culture Club, Alison Moyet and Yazoo, Midge Ure and Ultravox all started out in 1979, and pretty much gave birth to the androgynous, sexually ambiguous and very synthesised sounds of The New Romantic Movement in England in the early 80s. Any vampish qualities that permeate from Billy Idol can probably be attributed to the portrayal of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or vice versa…
I had the most boring job ever in civil service call centre - to liven it up we had an hour answering the phones in the style of Billy Idol, thanks for saving the day!
With my leather studded glove in the air immediately I cried More More More! And how about Steve Stevens on that badass guitar! Love Billy Idol! Thank you, Wondermomma, that had me off my chair pumping my fist!!!

@@KenWillWin I will add that one to the list. There are a few parameters that need to be met with each song I do... first, I have to know the song well myself. There needs to be plenty of reactions to it. The only thing that might throw a wrench in is if there is some reactors that react to the studio/lyrics version and some that react to a live version. But this one is going on the list! Thanks Ken!

When i was 16, my dad got me an 81 Camaro. It had a cassette tape player and this album was stuck in it. Billy Idol was all i listened to for about 8 months. Then a while later, the local radio station's named got changed to the Rebel Rocker and this song played for about a week straight on repeat. Others might have gotten tired of this song, but not me. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories, WonderMomma.

WMOG, Great choice and good work as always! This brought a smile to my face! Released in 1983 when I was 17 and even though I was / am a metal-head the song, TO THIS DAY, simply ROCKS! A ton of great memories!
So glad I got to see this tour back in the early eighties, his keyboardist Judi Dozier the one in this video is a friend of mine. Peace from Central Texas Hook'em Horns 🤘
In the 90s, Billy Idol had a concert in Seattle, where I was living at the time. This was after his motorcycle accident, so he was on stage with a cane, but still rocked it. However, as the audience filled the seats and floors, we all saw this GIGANTIC fist above the stage. I can't remember if it was as he started, or the middle, or the end, but that GIGANTIC fist above the stage started turning over. We all watched it, and it slowly put up the middle finger to the entire audience. The screaming was so loud when that happened, I felt I was going to go deaf. Every last one of us loved it!
Marvelous! I was smiling all the way through the video because of Billiy and the band's performance, which I've always loved, and the reactors' enthusism. Another good 'un, Momma!
Love watching your work at the end. Truly appreciate your dedication to the reactor’s musical journey and for bringing out the best parts of us all. Thank you. 🙌

40 years later, Billy and Steve are still cranking it out! Look them up.
Will never understand how this didn't even make the US Top 40. MTV played the living hell out of it.
There was a helluva lot of stiff competition at the time. Billy was good, but there were others who were better.
That’s how good music was ‘83-‘84

Billy rocks!! Back in the day he was the man. “Women wanted him, and men wanted to be him!!”
