One tip for tig welding, make sure you rub it down with acetone or rubbing alcohol before welding. The surface should be clean. You know you have a clean surface when it doesn't make sparking noises that you sometimes can hear in the video.

Watching him with the RC getting " This steel is too heavy, I'll use thinner steel " stuck in his head made me think of my youth. Instead of using aluminum, thin plastic sheets or even Balsa wood.
I think they all just default to steel whenever they need rigid material. I don't even remember the last time they used aluminum for something. Their results look cool, but not everything has to be bulletproof, yeah :) They even once commented on their tendency to make things out of steel a lot during the build for the James Bond spy car when they made a small platform to lift a projector or something which ended up being really heavy.
Every Half year or so, I just think: "whats the hacksmith doing rn?" and just binge 7 hours of Hacksmith videos of the newest and some old stuff, even tho I dont know a thing about engineering.
Not gonna lie I will randomly after not watching hacksmith in awhile just think "what crazy thing have they done recently" and go watch their newer vids
