I tried to play guitar while peaking on LSD but couldn't manage to do it because I was too amazed by the wooden top of my instrument having such a green texture.
When playing the guitar on L I sort of started to see the strings like sideways blades really far away from the neck, started to doubt myself if the guitar is actually how I always remembered it to be.
I don’t play any instruments but I can take a dump and wipe my own ass on LSD. Friend of mine can play insanely fast on Sid on the guitar, you just have to know how to control it and not let it control you.
Let's just admit that no one searched this video. It came to you. Every time this comment gets a comment I re listen to this video. and my I tell you, you never get tired of it, it's as always as beautiful the first time hear it. Props to you man, lsd or not you wrote a masterpiece.
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for being here. Not sure how the algorithm works but I appreciate you all taking the time of your day to listen to my music. I didn’t realise my video had this many views until a best friend of mine told me this video was recommended to him lol.. I started playing again and for the most part it’s because of your kind words. I’ll make some songs whenever I have free time. And for those who asked, I am doing fantastic these days, cheers. :) Love you all. Peace. Kieran
ive had two acid trips and the second one was just me in the dark playing a keyboard i had just gotten and i felt like i learned 10 hours of keyboard in 3 hours that was maybe a year ago and im still playing it.. felt like how this guys sounds
i sung on an acid trip for 12 hours straight because i enjoyed it so much. i wanted to to wear my voice out so i would feel it when i was sober and know what muscles i was using and ever since i've kept singing lol
Moral of the story: If you're ever playing music on drugs, always record. Cuz you'll probably end up making something very cool, but will likely forget what you did the next day lol
I tend to dream up great music, and forget it right as I realize that I'm dreaming of music. Whatever part of my brain that is doing that, I wish I could use it consciously.
@@RAndrewNeal Sometimes, in dreams, I think I would have composed really beautiful music, but when I wake up, I realize, that the dream tricked me and combined a bad idea with a wonderful feeling. The last time I woke up from a dream like this, it was different. There really was a beautiful piece of music in my head and I immediately began to record it to my smartphone, singing the melody, the rhythm and described the sound of the instruments in words. After that, I uses a music app to program the drum beat. That was a great experience. If you don't try to remember every detail as soon as possible, you will lose it forever. After half an hour, it was saved to my brain (and smartphone) permanently.
The soundtrack to my dreams are always Pink Floyd’s music for some reason. Specifically Division Bell, I don’t know why maybe because I listen to them so much
@@RAndrewNeal I have only been able to capture about 3 songs through dreams, my method is to figure out the melody as soon as I wake up and write it down. If I wait it goes fast and often I can't get the harmony. Like anything else in life it comes down to practice. I hope you can get one, good luck!
Playing an instrument you've practiced while on LSD is an incredible experience. You stare at it as if it's a foreign object and feel almost incapacitated. In the warped reality you're inside of you think "there's no way in hell, I'm way too messed up"... then you play a few notes. Your consciousness streams and feels every vibration you emit and instantly you're "in the pocket". Music starts pouring out of your soul and you're riding every wavelength along the journey. No thoughts, just feeling. As the improv builds toward a crescendo you're almost leaving your body. A spirit dancing across each note being performed perfectly. You become incredibly grateful for the experience of life, and the hours put into practicing the instrument. Grateful for the beautiful melodies you are now observing, experiencing, but simultaneously creating. As it comes to an end everything settles back in, and it feels as if you'd just been through the greatest therapy session of your life. Staring back at the instrument you feel amazed and humbled at what just happened. Playing guitar while tripping is easily one of my personal favorite experiences EVER. For anybody that doesn't play an instrument- perform your passion. Draw. Do something you've practiced. Explore the new territory that that key of psychedelics unlocks. You'll be surprised at the creativity we have long forgotten in the mess of our modern day world.
Your comment was profound. Thanks for sharing. I would argue that you’re not in a “warped reality” but closer to actual objective reality when you’re on acid. You literally see things almost the way they are without all your human mental filters. That’s why it’s so fucking weird. That’s why everything feels so connected. Just my thoughts.
@@joetheperformer reality no matter the substance will always be subjective. It just happens. It just is the way it is. Considering most of us have some sort of base reality we can relate to, under the influence of psychedelics that perspective is warped with no connotation but being in a different viewpoint. Trying to explain psychedelic experiences is like trying to bite your own teeth.
@@nefuros551 I completely agree with you. I’m just remembering this book (“Acid Test”) I read describing how the human mind has a sort of funnel that allows only certain aspects of reality to enter the conscious mind. It then says that psychedelics somehow widen that funnel so we see more of what’s truly there. I thought it was a fascinating way of looking at it. Because to think those patterns may be present in the world, we just don’t see it when we are sober is very interesting.
Wow i gotta try this, but i think the effect is best if you never seen the video before. Im going to do this with my friends and tell them he made this on acid and their reactions Will Be so pure
I think you just need to have been in that same state before to understand. I see it, and its a beautiful piece. Just makes me want to play along honestly. Now theres an idea.
Sadly I couldn't find any "playing bagpipes on LSD". I'd imagine that there would be different dosages vs different bagpipes (highland, uilleann, sackpipa, gaita) due to the different tone and different loudness ( = irritability). I have sackpipe-like bagpipes at home, but I'm not planning a 'trip' anytime soon, so no video from me
The video is only 4:40 minutes, but imagine how long he must felt during the recording, it must feel like 6 hours straight. He was in something called “the zone”, and that’s one of the best feelings a human can ever experience.
Hi! I respectfully disagree with you, from my point of view when a child laughs is the most beautiful moment! It's so powerful that, we laugh even if we don't feel like laughing!
As someone who has graduated with a music performance degree that has to be some of the most profound stuff I’ve heard in a while. I became basically a “numb robot” at the end of my time in music school. The stress burned me out so bad. I hope to become this connected to music again one day….☺️
Being in my fifth year of music school, I understand the burnout. Probably the most stressful experience of my life was studying music. I hope we can find out inspiration again soon
You only lose music when you lose yourself. Too many people get caught up trying to be more of a musician than anyone else, and in the process lose everything about who they are in their effort to be something they can't... in reality, we are human, we have a threshold of creativity, and it's not always "on" all the time.... love it when it hits, let it be silent when you need silence.
The only time I ever had acid, I had my huge ass sketch notepad and everything, yet I found myself just wanting to listen to music. GOOD music. I would feel inspired and grab my pencil and boom I was already on the next thing (train of thought) lmao every single time. I did achieve verified telepathy though. 👁
Playing guitar on acid made me imagine that every note in the chords I were playing had their own personality and traits yeah sounds weird yeah but i remember talking and being happy for each note I played damn near. Made me feel much less lonely. Music is a magical thing. It’s a deeper thing.
You can tell this person is taking LSD for inner pain. It shows in this song Edit: I was right.. read the description. I hope this person is doing better now.
Fuck this gave me goosebumps and it reminded me of the feelings I had on LSD. This melancholy tones you are using but it's not sad at all..... it's actually so pure and whole hearted. Like a child going on an adventure, full of courage and ignorance of what fear is. This minor tone that is filled with so much optimism and wonder. It's such a hopeful tone...... I felt all your pain through this but most importantly it was the process of letting go and moving on towards a life that's is truly your purpose. Passion, love, sadness, heartbreak..... and it all ultimately ended up with learning self love. I felt it all my friend.
I have surprisingly never done LSD, so I was interested in hearing what I expected would be a sort of dissonant abstraction. Instead I heard beautifully shaped and balanced tones, how wonderful! Makes me think about experiencing this now, at least in a microdose. Thank you.
I think it depends on the background of the musician. This person said they are classically trained so we are hearing a fairly predictable chord progression using minor chords. If the player was a trained jazz musician, the music would sound a lot different. If the player was not trained at all, I think you'd just hear nonsense, but to the player, it may sound a lot cooler than it was to the observer.
Shrooms. Go with shrooms first if you’ve never done psychedelics before. Shrooms help me accept life as it is. I have a huge fear of death but the few times I’ve done shrooms, that fear was gone and I felt as if I could embrace the idea. The world around me was vibrant, shining, shimmering. Splendid. Everything felt sweet and just so… peaceful. Sweet relief from the chaos of life. I would love to visit that place again soon.
Not that you asked for advice about it, but just prep your surroundings any time you want to trip. It can be an incredible spiritual experience but it needs to be done in a place where you are comfortable and safe, and the more you do to prepare yourself the better the trip will be.
@@QuantumConcept ehhhh but dosage is still relevant, and form of delivery is fun (blotter, dropped on candy, straight liquid, gel, etc). Anything else that may have been in the system at the time, scheduling if multiple hits. Plenty of factors that can impact intensity. Very much dig this song, btw.
i think the suprising part is how much this reminded of interstellar and its soundtrack it really has raw emotion in it. The melody is so sad, yet hopeful, as if the listener is chasing the resolution of the chords at all moments. great job. thank you
When my grandpa passed away it was sudden and I couldn't really process his death until his showing. After the showing I went into my grandmothers bathroom and smoked a bowl. When I came out I sat on the couch and closed my eyes. My uncle played the most beautiful melody that seemed to be endless on the guitar. Never have I appreciated life more than in that moment. Listening to your improv has recreated that feeling. Thank you. It's truly beautiful the emotions a good musician can evoke.
This is beautiful. I'm a pianist too. I'm from India. There's this unpopular tradition of consuming an edible form of cannabis called "Bhang" on the festival of Holi. Last year, I was peaking on it and I was so high I went through a weird series of emotions. I cried, I felt lonely (because of my history of clinical depression and some personal and relationship issues), and weirdly, I smiled too. That was the first time in my life I got high. I mean I was just a preteen. I was doing and saying weird things so driven by curiosty my siblings asked me to play something and honestly, in my 6 years of playing piano, I had never improvised like I did that day. I even started crying while playing. It was weird but it was a beautiful experience.
I’ve heard about Banhg a friend showed me a movie that had the Holi festival in it, she explained it as an edible to me. I’m off the opinion that when you feel a drug in a nice environment and it’s more “body “ focused it is easier to perform/create.
I know that feeling. Utter sadness mixed with extreme happines. I felt it during an ayahuasca ritual with my dad a while after my grandma had passed. I was comforting him while he was crying, and all of the sudden, rays of light came down on us and I felt it. It was mindblowingly strange and amazing.
This is hauntingly beautiful, you can literally feel the pain in each note. I'll never stop being amazed by the way art can turn something so hurtful into something so beautiful
I can literally feel your emotions. Like longing for something, waiting to be found, hoping to arrive, so close but yet so far. It sounds so beautiful and yet, tears flow down your eyes, your face, your chest and soon your entire body. It feels like being submerged in water and drowning from the weight of your emotions. Needing to feel the surface but wanting to just stay.
I tried that with a guitar, but i couldn't play anything haha instead i kept playing the same string with my head on the guitar feeling the vibration, until one of my friends told me to stop because he felt in a kind of loop haha
This is what i expected to hear here, just him playing the same keys over and over, or jumbling them more and looping... wasn't to displeased though. There was a part mid way (2:39 and onwards) where he loops and jumbles slightly and i got my hopes up haha
I was thinking about "death" when this video came up. It's like his playing my feeling, I cannot tell anyone. Thanks for saving me for another day, Mr. You never know your impact on others.
I am sending positive energy your way. May the best things come to you. More over... may this world will continue to be graced with your presence for a very long time. May you have a wonderful life 🌸💗
Did acid, LSD,....like a million years ago,... a few times in 1969, 1970,...later in 1973,....then peyote,...in 1977,.....eventually mushrooms,....in the 1990s. My trips were visual and indescribable, complex tapestries of color and sensations,....views into new worlds of perception. Sitting nearly still,...I was transported and traveled a million miles in every direction, at varying speeds. I was outside and inside, (mentally) individually and both at the same time. Like many, I saw colors, smelled colors, heard colors, became colors.
I love live performances when you can see the music and connect with the band and the people there. I believe everyone should try just once. With a really good friend who is experienced and sweet.
@@michaelsmusic3532 I must need to try harder then cuz I seem to only get sensations like that while tripping, it's different every time, however it has definitely changed my life, drastically improving it and it helps reconnect me to nature during and afterwards. Now I definitely feel music more than I used to and have an adverse reaction to bad lyrics or artists. Sorry uzi vert I think your an idiot lol. The world needs some more Grateful Dead in my opinion... and spirituality instead of just believing nothing just mindlessly going about life like a bunch of sheep just lalalala. It's a bender for sure
@@edash360 I mean I had a dream about a friend I hadn't talked to in 2 years. I contacted and it turned out she really needed someone at that time. If dreams can tie into reality then whose to say someone else's perception couldnt experience that on the regular. Personally when the dose is wearing off i notice that the rooms that seemed so much larger or psychedelic (for lack of a better term) I can literally watch everything slowly move back to reality as I start to get sleepy after a good 12 to 14 hours
I'm really drunk and I've had a few joints and I've just found you. You are beautiful. You remind me of someone beautiful I've lost. I can't hold back the tears.
I love just getting really stoned and smoking it up and then just going at it on the guitar. This guy's having a trip in orbit and I love what he's playing
With weed sometimes you're right in the zone, you can create something so magical that you couldn't think of while sober. But then theres times when you eat a potent brownie and try to play some riff, but just keep messin up. And then realize, you've been doing this same riff for like an hour.
I have used LSD and other mind altering tools for personal growth and insight, they have inspired ideas that would have never come to light otherwise ... BUT I've had to return to this dimension of time/space in order to manifest them. I've never been able to play my instruments or create any art while under the influence of even alcohol. I do my best after smoking marijuana and it definitely allows me, as a catalyst, to express the inspiration that I was enlightened to while under the influence of other mind altering substances. I don't even drink alcohol anymore because it keeps me from doing anything in life let alone my music. I sooooo disagree when people label things like "all drug use is bad" I feel they can be very powerful artistic tools if used properly. Thank you for sharing this video, very inspiring ! I can feel the emotion in the music 🎶 Peace my friend !
@@NoName_NoTitle 😆 yeah ... There with ya. I play my best under the influence of a reasonable amount of weed, not just because I'm stoned but that's the feedback that I receive also 😜

my best friend is fighting for his life right now in the hospital and i cant stand by him because of corona, he is alone and im crying for more then 2 hours hearing this song, visualising memories of us both, hoping to generate enough energy to get him through this. be good to each other, this stuff can happen very very fast , love you all
so your friend pulled through?! this thread makes me incredibly happy, love when good things happen, i hope you make all kinds of wonderful memories in addition to the ones you were reflecting on, it's a good thing he has you for a friend to cherish him, stay blessed!
Unrestrained playing on the piano is so fucking therapeutic sometimes. My best piano playing is improv just letting my hands freely play. Fills the soul.
Yo i was high and this vid came up out of nowhere, then u started playin and i just layed down, closed my eyes and felt so many emotions coming out of those notes that i just stayed there listening with lots of emotions goin through my mind. Its amazing how music makes you feel so many emotions that cant be explained verbaly.
it really is amazing. it feels like words aren’t enough to express the emotions i feel and i’m sure it feels that way for you as well, it’s so wonderful humans have so many incredible choices to express themselves. some people say magic and fairytales aren’t real but i think life is magical as well as a fairytale. sometimes we get so lost in our pain that we forget all the magical things this world has to offer. :)
Hearing pain in someone's music always makes my throat knot... so much emotions. This is light language. You are a beautiful soul. I hope you're striving!
It's not about how well he played. He can play well sober. It's about the phrases and inversions that come out when your intoxicated. The reason it's special is because the drug pushes the talent into places the sober mind wouldn't venture. You get stuck in ruts of habit and repetition when playing an instrument. The LSD breaks some of those habits down and you flow into new modes or phrases you normally wouldn't even acknowledge.
beautiful. when i smoke weed and just sit on the piano i swear everything comes out naturally, the music plays itself, there is no thinking. the only part of the brain that works is the one that processes the music that comes out of you. it's a trance, it's incredible. and all unprocessed emotions just come out on the keyboard. the human brain really is magic. this track reminds me of that. thank you for posting!!!
I feel you. Never Played the keys until i was once high af and people in the room didnt believe what they hear also me neither. Ist was my First and Last time i composed
It I smoke weed all I do is blank stare in front of me laughing on the inside about everything that isn’t even funny and eat a lot. So jealous of people who get high enjoyably.
Ok this is facts! I play clarinet and when I smoke indica, i can get into a zone and sound much more fluid, also it relaxes my diaphragm helps me hold notes longer
As a musician who has done similar "experiments" I'm always interested in hearing other people play under the influence because there seems to be less of a filter on how and what you play. You just play what it is, no more, no less and i think modern music could use more of that.
@@appo038 i used to write and record on 4 track tape under the influence of lsd. A lot of it was stuff that sober me wouldn't have thought to do (though honestly i did so much during that period that life took on a cartoony brilliance that never quite left) but when i would listen back I'd be both amazed and proud of what I'd made with virtually zero effort because i let the song be what it was. For some reason it was like i could hear the song already completed and all i had to do was play it. I considered making a yt channel doing something like this but i don't know where to get hallucinogens from any more (which may be for the best) so probably no dice on that, lots of good times though.
Such extremely strong frequencies had me melting into the music. I could feel the LSD Euphoria even sober this is so beautiful you can feel the emotions and every note
“LSD binds to specific brain cell receptors and alters how the brain responds to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates emotions, moods, and perceptions.” All the pain being expressed is real in this body, and is allowed to be easily expressed. This might be because of the drug, or it might not. Not matter what this is beautiful 🤩
Haha that description. I had a breakup and one night I woke at 3am. She calls, argues, then smoked some weed and picked up my acoustic guitar. And easily my best improv came out, of course my phone went to shit aaaand now its gone. lol
It probably felt like your best improv because that song meant something to you, you were channeling emotions My favourite song I've written doesn't theoretically sound better than my others but it's my favorite because I wrote it about someone and not just for fun
I feel so lucky to have found this just some weeks before my dad passed It's a pleasure to have something to reflect to, to have something express the void left by someone who left. And to feel pain, every time is less painful and more relaxing thanks to the thought I have been developing while listening to this. I love this song, it'll be my pretty little jewel that I'll come back to admire every time I need to see something shimmer.
I feel you man. My dad passed away in July this year--I miss him every day. I just found this song today and I feel like it'll accompany me for days to come; it plays the right strings in my heart. Hugs and strength to you, stranger. Be safe
I did acid and played piano and I had a theory that acid helps you realize frequency naturally like a 7th sense a musical one coming from a musician of many instruments but not piano I was able to know when frequency would change and what note it would go to without even hearing the song before. My phone listens to everything I say I swear
@@Smok3_eyes_kira you are right. i play a lot of guitar piano bass drums. and on lsd and mushrooms the guitar talks with its vibrations and sounds and youre intune with energy

@@nathangreene3869 Classical musicians are the least improvisational than others. They are basically the catholic school kids in the music world. With super tight regulations, that govern everything down to their posture and facial expressions. I'm not saying they are oppressed or something, because it's their choice anyways, but they have the least amount of leeway, music-wise.
@@MM-vs2et Not necessarily, for the most part I would say that you are right, but I am classical trained and I improvise all the time, actually started by suggestion of my college professor, and I know a few people who are just like me in that regard
@@MM-vs2et thats not even close to being true. Classical musicians are just musicians who prefer to play classical music. A musician shouldn't be defined by the type of music they prefer to play. Dont get me wrong, there are definitely different skills and techniques applied to each genre, but to compare classical musicians to catholic school? lol huh? Youre just bullshitting rn.
This one time I was peaking on lsd, my friend had brought her pink kiddy piano (like a cheap yamaha) and I was playing it on my lap as the keys faced away, I felt everything meld into the notes, like I was narrating time in a sense, it was pure joy and fun. Same trip she'd also brought her bright vivid yellow fender guitar and I connected it to the amp and each time I strummed I heard the defined reverberations, as if time were embodied by these vibrations and I was so incredibly happy. I never quite reached where I was going when I was playing it and formulation a tangible way to describe to my friends what I felt in that moment but from what I can remember uttering was, music is a marker in time, a fractal of expression of the grace that is existence. Everything that ever existed is merely a nodule, a little note in the vast instrument that is existence. It felt so amazing to sit with this. I came to alot of beautiful findings and understandings during that trip. Very happy to have found this, I feel open 2 share this with you all. I'm glad you're all here and existing as you are. Thank you creator also :]
I'd like to thank you for sharing your experience. You've conveyed how you felt brilliantly and that can't be easy. You have some great memories you'll never lose. Stay happy, safe and always curious :))
If anyone wants to play this improvisation and wants to know the key or the progression here it is: I think it's in the key of Eb major (which is the same as C minor) and he's using the chords of C minor (vi), Ab major (IV), then G minor (iii), and I think he ends the progression with an F minor (ii). Then with the right hand he's just doing two broken chords with four notes: the first one I think it's C minor with a sixth (so it would be the C minor chord and Ab note) then I think he's doing the same broken chord but he changes the thumb to the Ab note. Anyways, since it is an improvisation it can change a little bit, the beauty of these pieces is that they are focused on the feeling while playing freely on the piano rather than copying the piece. So, first practice the scale of Eb major or C minor, then practice the progression with the left hand, then create a melody with the right hand with the notes of the scale and you're ready to go, have fun, and feel what you are playing. Good luck!!
@@ellamadeline Yess, I was between C minor (Eb maj) and F minor (Ab maj) since they have the same notes, excluding the D or Db. I was going to edit it but I couldn't find the video and I was really busy. @@ellamadeline no worries, anyways, the chord Cmin is really easy to identify, the problem was the key, since the chords were the same excluding for a note
Ah yes, the tantalizing feeling when a beautiful set of chords find you in a improvasional session. Really channels inner emotions. I recommend people get more musically involved in their lives. It helped an apathetic person like me feel the color and beauty of emotions being evoked by sound frequencies
Every time I've tried to do this I ended up laughing uncontrollably because playing music is kinda like talking in a silly accent except you pretend to be serious. "This sound goes bummm and then you go do do do diddly do do do bow wow wummm. Its so beautiful" Somebody's gotta know what I mean lol. It's just too fun. Also proof that you can play just fine on lsd, good job dude!

This sounds like being afraid to have hope, like not letting yourself have high expectations, because you're afraid of failure and being disappointed, as always.
It’s been five days since I discovered this gem, and I’m coming back every night for a listen. Absolute masterpiece! Edit: Thanks to everyone who likes the comment and reminds me of this masterpiece

I can relate, i can remember crying a lot just by sitting on the piano and playing a plain C# minor 9 chord and arpeggiating it... It was one of the most beautiful things i've ever played in my life, so simple yet so strong...
What the hell is this making me feel right now? I'm on my seventh go around and am no closer to understanding. I guess that's because it's not meant to be understood, just felt. It's wonderful when something can make my emotions so loud that my mind goes quiet. Thank you for taking me on a trip of my own.
The amount of times I’ve come back to it is unparalleled. And the way it has just come to me. Out of no where. The way you can hear his story bleed out only from the keys he lays his fingers on. A man consumed by the loneliness of life hoping, to reach an audience like him. Hoping to reach a spiritual awaking. To transcend to the heavens but still keep his feet grounded. Yet this callamoration of beautifully placed notes makes one able to write your own story along with it. Interpreting it to fit you.

Ever since yesterday I've had this strange feeling and I quite couldn't figure out what it was or what was to come. . . My 8 year old nephew is moving across the country with his mother and I know that im going to miss him as if he was my own. That kid is so special and this piece perfectly captures the feeling ive had for the past days. The feeling of having someone important taken away from you without being able to intervene.
I completely understand what you mean my friend. Last year I suddenly lost my father and this piece of music just encapsulates all these emotions I felt and am still feeling perfectly. Love, compassion and strengh to you and all these beautiful souls out there.
This was in my recommendation. I'm remembering parts of a bad acid trip I experienced as the melody and the comfort of this piece somehow remind me of the pain and enlightening realization I saw when I literally became my thoughts. The sadness was blissful the longer I stayed there, yet as the verse changes, it's like I can still feel the effects of the acid when an entity held my head in their hands and quietly told my soul that it's time to come out and let my ego die. As I died, I observed but also become the observer of my own pain. I can't tell you how connected I feel to this sound, you're a brilliant artist. Subscribed

At this moment when psychedelic molecules are beginning to be decriminalized in the US, I see this video as radical Self love; enlightened Self interest; wise use of entheogen; transforming Self into instrument for universe. Keep improvising, voyaging, flowing, please, for all of us still too safe and irresponsible.
Whats not shown here: the hours and days of dedication and work this individual put into learning piano. Lets not forget that the creativity always comes from inside us

I tried to play guitar while peaking on LSD but couldn't manage to do it because I was too amazed by the wooden top of my instrument having such a green texture.
Sounds about right

When playing the guitar on L I sort of started to see the strings like sideways blades really far away from the neck, started to doubt myself if the guitar is actually how I always remembered it to be.
I don’t play any instruments but I can take a dump and wipe my own ass on LSD. Friend of mine can play insanely fast on Sid on the guitar, you just have to know how to control it and not let it control you.

Thats very true, Kirk!
I enjoyed reading this

I feel that if someone listened to this while also peaking on LSD, they could see this guy's soul in the music. This is beautiful.

As someone who has graduated with a music performance degree that has to be some of the most profound stuff I’ve heard in a while. I became basically a “numb robot” at the end of my time in music school. The stress burned me out so bad. I hope to become this connected to music again one day….☺️

You only lose music when you lose yourself. Too many people get caught up trying to be more of a musician than anyone else, and in the process lose everything about who they are in their effort to be something they can't... in reality, we are human, we have a threshold of creativity, and it's not always "on" all the time.... love it when it hits, let it be silent when you need silence.
guess it’s time for you to try psychedelics

Good points, MC. Thanks!
There was a man who pitched a no hitter high on acid. It enhances performance.

It's not the LSD, it's his talent and dedication
It’s these commons left unnoticed. Then the guy will think he can only play good with the drugs…worlds a cruel place.
It’s both… Read the description
Drugs amplify what you already have inside you
It's not about how well he played.
Cope. Drugs have been responsible for a lot of your favorite artists. It is what it is.

As a musician who has done similar "experiments" I'm always interested in hearing other people play under the influence because there seems to be less of a filter on how and what you play. You just play what it is, no more, no less and i think modern music could use more of that.

I feel so lucky to have found this just some weeks before my dad passed
It's a pleasure to have something to reflect to, to have something express the void left by someone who left. And to feel pain, every time is less painful and more relaxing thanks to the thought I have been developing while listening to this. I love this song, it'll be my pretty little jewel that I'll come back to admire every time I need to see something shimmer.
Big love on you brother
I feel you man.
My dad passed away in July this year--I miss him every day. I just found this song today and I feel like it'll accompany me for days to come; it plays the right strings in my heart.
Hugs and strength to you, stranger. Be safe
For all the people about to get this in their algorithm: Am I the only one wondering if I'm supposed to see this?
you're not the only one
I did acid and played piano and I had a theory that acid helps you realize frequency naturally like a 7th sense a musical one coming from a musician of many instruments but not piano I was able to know when frequency would change and what note it would go to without even hearing the song before. My phone listens to everything I say I swear
Same...feel like its a sign to call up the plug lol
@@Smok3_eyes_kira you are right. i play a lot of guitar piano bass drums. and on lsd and mushrooms the guitar talks with its vibrations and sounds and youre intune with energy
Acid for the people!
read the description holy shit! the most impressive part of it all is he is classically trained so he has never played improv until he was tripping and just let loose a plug of emotion that was hindering his life
He just said it wasn't his usual thing. Most if not all musician's do improv of some sort.
@@MM-vs2et not true. Source im a classical pianist
Stay happy, safe and always curious :))
thank you for sharing this too
And then everyone clapped
If anyone wants to play this improvisation and wants to know the key or the progression here it is:
I think it's in the key of Eb major (which is the same as C minor) and he's using the chords of C minor (vi), Ab major (IV), then G minor (iii), and I think he ends the progression with an F minor (ii). Good luck!!
Man you are the best
its in c minor
@@ellamadeline Yess, I was between C minor (Eb maj) and F minor (Ab maj) since they have the same notes, excluding the D or Db. I was going to edit it but I couldn't find the video and I was really busy. Anyways, it could've been played the same as it was first descripted because it would've been like a mode and it had the same chords :D
@@ellamadeline no worries, anyways, the chord Cmin is really easy to identify, the problem was the key, since the chords were the same excluding for a note

What a way to word it
Cookt ahh boi
This is the most painful song ive heard ever
I just can feel the pain and the sadness
That comes from yourself, your own reading of the book of reality
This was in my recommendation. I'm remembering parts of a bad acid trip I experienced as the melody and the comfort of this piece somehow remind me of the pain and enlightening realization I saw when I literally became my thoughts. The sadness was blissful the longer I stayed there, yet as the verse changes, it's like I can still feel the effects of the acid when an entity held my head in their hands and quietly told my soul that it's time to come out and let my ego die. As I died, I observed but also become the observer of my own pain. I can't tell you how connected I feel to this sound, you're a brilliant artist. Subscribed
