What about establishing a lap time chart where someone can compare lap times at the same track and if it is possible with the same driver?

Did Plato also place the cameras? because someone has managed to chose 3 camera angles of which NONE show the track! now that's an achievement.
All the good camera angles were already taken.

@@dan3092 No that's the exact kind of track footage I want, just remove all the other camera angles and just show his nose while he's driving, that's obviously exactly what everyone wants to see from a racetrack onboard.

Plato and Needell, two of the best and fastest presenters out there, and I include Harris and Catchpole.
I couldnt agree more. Steve Sutcliffe, Jethro Bovington and Owen Mildenhall are also guys who can just deliver the sharpest stuff

I'll never drive a car based on how old I am. If I want a hot hatch I'll buy one, stuff what other people think.
@@mattyoz0 I am sure he means due to reasons comes with age not exactly because he is old as in a number. I am 50 still doing handbrake turns and drifting on snow :) but i cant stand the cramped space and bad seats low entry height, and super bumpy ride of my small hot hatch for long trips is nice to have a comfortable quite ride.

I almost swapped my megane rs 275 cup s for one until i drove it. It felt heavier than the rs an understeered like a pig. I kept the rs.

And, no, he hasn’t retired. Power Maxted Racing chose not to compete in 2020’s BTCC. Plato has been retained by the team for 2021.
Camera on footwork would be nice.
People in HK are complaining that they will not buy a "Yaris" for HK$600k (£60k equivalent due to import tax and shipping). "... I'm not paying HK$ 600k for a Yaris !! ..."
But you are only buying a Yaris by name, it is a purpose built racer from the ground up. They will happily pay a similar premium of 2x the price of a Ferrari all day long !!

I want someone to show us if this car is all hype .. forget the modern super hatches put it up against a standard Subaru Spec C wide track or a evo 9 please someone do this even a TME then I will believe this hype surrounding it
Late response here,having come from a hawkeye jdm sti which is a capable car,the Yaris as moved things on,its a special car very much in the mould of evo/wrx sti,get to have a go in one if you can.

Castle Combe 1.17.72 isn't quick. Try to go quicker till u get 0.54.132 took me 114 laps

1:17 is quick round coombe - that's Cayman GTS territory, impressive from the GR
You mean you did 1:54 round coombe - not 0:54 (afraid that is not possible)

It's a one off rally homologation car built in limited numbers, I bet Toyota aren't making much profit from them if any at all. Think how much the engineering work and R&D has cost to make something like this. £35k seems quite reasonable to me.
