My guess is that in the coming years they’ll transition between each era of Star Wars. In the spring it could be Prequels, summer for originals, and winter for the sequels.

@@asapluke not the display model outside. Only on the millennium falcon ride you get to see the bench where they play their version of Virtual chess and like 15 feet of a hallway seen in scenes. You get the cabin too, but only about 15% of the falcon is seen.
Would be a good rolleecoaster. One where VR could actually make sense.

It's a LOT of fun. They did a great job with the ride and the attention to detail is PHENOMENAL.

Glad you got to experience the ride! My brother and I rode it last week in Orlando. We were waiting in the hallway next to our detention cell door and saw a few buttons and couldn’t help ourselves. To our surprise the cell door opened. The officers stayed in character and yelled at us, it was awesome.

A little tip for those wanting to go. Hit the park asap early morning. You can't queue your boarding pass until your tickets are scanned in at the gate.
As soon as you scan in queue it up. They fill up fast and boarding lines are long. Most people will be out of luck by late morning and signs will be out saying no more room for others.
Just went today and it was FREAKING awesome. Was there at the gate maybe 8ish and didn't get a notice til 4 or so that we can get on between 6ish and 7ish.

I was lucky enough to have guy at the security bag checks tell me that same advice the first morning of our trip so i could get on the ride on our 3rd and last day. Such an awesome experience and fun ride

I went to galaxy's edge this past September for my wife and I's first anniversary. I can't wait to go back and try the new ride and build some lightsabers! We built droids the first time around. We flew the Falcon 3 times and got to try all 3 roles on the ship. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!
This looked so cool! And REALLY immersive! I felt like an extremely excited nerd child again just watching this. What a cool experience! Glad you could go, man!
Its great that they give you a few minutes to take in the surroundings and a few photo's before moving on

The first time I went there was in highschool just a few years back. My marching band was marching in Disney world and we got to go to all the theme parks, plus universal. That whole place is such a trip, it's really amazing. Glad you got to go.

My wife and I got there at 6 am to acquire our spot. We then finally got on the ride at about 2 I think. Totally worth it. The hanger bay was also my favorite part. Awesome experience. Love living in Florida.

I literally went on this ride the day before this video came out. I'm not much of a fan of the new stuff, but they did a fantastic job on this. Would recommend 9/10.
At like 15:38 when I rode the ride, I wasn’t paying attention and the first order person was trying so hard not to laugh. They were saying stuff like “Do you ever pay attention?” And I wouldn’t answer. Then they would say “Do you ever have answers?” And I say “not for you” and then they asked me how many letters were in units, but I didn’t hear. My sister and my friend went “5!” It was really funny.

idk how to feel about this; the rides are amazing, but the merch (see lightsaber construction) has wayyyyyy too expensive stuff and ruins the experience
Vikram Bansal how much do you think a lightsaber would cost canonically at that time. Let alone to make one after Ilum(Starkiller) was destroyed. So it doesn’t really ruin immersion
